Syph Post #16
Her eyes still looking upwards watched as the umbrella of water above her turned to ice. It ran up the wall freezing what was essentially an entire quarter of the stairwell. Then gravity pulled on it. The umbrella above Syphalia's head only precariously connected to the wall sheared off. A block of ice nearly the size of Syphalia herself began to fall towards her.
The super rookie did not grin, though nor did she seem troubled by this. Her blade swirled about her, its color turned a blazing white from the light gathered atop it unable to free itself from the blade's grasp. Heat radiated from it as Syph's eyes narrowed looking up. "I Sekai" The swordswoman spoke launching herself up as Kurohime flashed forward.
The heat of the blade vaporized the block of ice as it fell towards her unleashing a cloud of steam that obscured the zone between her and the Daibukai. Gravity began to pull her down again, but Syph's foot kicked the air throwing her upwards once more. Leading with her body and with blinding Kurohime behind her turning steam to invisible vapor she closed the distance.
"Senkou!" Her blade whipped up circling about her dispersing the steam cloud where it swung as a circle of light expanded vertically outwards from Syph's location with the cloud.
The blade of holy fire slung itself forward towards the great dark beast. It moved towards the evil, the impurity he saw before him until it winkled out. Snuffed out before it could even harm the beast in question. Lawrence was taken aback, The holy fire defeated by such a beast?? Impossible, can its defiling of the light truly be so great? The knight, the holy knight, the Paragon Knight, a 'Saint' in name and stature, he could not stand for this.
Caught within his own delusion, Lawrence barely noticed as the hallway fell apart about him. Instead he charged forward directly towards the beast's maw as its arms swung in to crush him between their dark thickness. Stone from above rained down upon the knight as he ignored it. A large piece crashed into his wings. Large and strong as they were, they were also more flimsy than the rest of his body. He ignored the feeling as one was de-feathed by the ceiling crashing through it.
As the arms swung in from either side Lawrence launched himself forward, his blade drawn back still wreathed in the white flame he ignited through as he would say his firm belief. His blade pulled back, "ASCALON" The spear that slew dragons, the broadsword thrust forward towards the beast. The knight imbued it with his spirit, the black covering, his will, the white flame, and his strength, in its cutting power. He lunged it forward certain that the gods would grant him his rightful victory.-Silent Gentleman vs Necromancer Part 4-
The electrified bullet shot forward, a tail of lightning chasing after it. With a thud and a zap it slammed into the closer of the two zombies. The creature stopped, then giving a quick jerky movement it fell to the ground. Which would've been the most interesting had Arlen not noticed something else. Little lights springing from it, no ... it was lightning springing upwards in flows along some sort of medium.
Then it came, from where he didn't know but he felt it all the same. The sound of pain, far away but there rang through his head. Arlen gripped his head with a free hand protecting his temple with one hand. -THUD- The quartermaster barely noticed as the other zombie dropped to the ground for no apparent reason. He breathed panting slightly, What is this ... The pain he could feel it, pinpointing it, the quartermaster turned his head upwards looking towards the dimly lit ceiling of the cavern. His eyes peered up looking into the darkness, they swung over it with care.
His eyes narrowed Is that ... The quartermaster raised his rifle lining up a shot. His target, a splotch of different shading on the ceiling, too unique, alongside also giving off some sheen. To many it would've been barely noticeable, but Arlen was a sniper, his eyesight was top notch, superior to everyone else in the crew at least. Even so, this was not a shot he attempted often, a hundred or more meters above him, "Two shots." That was how many he expected it'd take him to correct his aim.
Arlen pulled the trigger, the bullet shot upwards, raising higher and higher. Until with an inaudible thud it slammed into his target. Better than he thought, Arlen grinned to himself as a screech rang out from the ceiling of the cavern echoing throughout the entire place. The quartermaster glanced up noticing something shooting through the air down directly towards him. He jumped aside as strands of what looked to be string or perhaps silk slammed into the ground where he'd just stood cracking the stone. He jumped further away as something larger using whatever that was as guideline fell from the ceiling and landed where the silk was.
The ... creature as he called it he recognized to likely be a zoan of the arachnid style upon looking. It stood up, six thin arms flexing themselves as whoever it was looked at Arlen. A clear bloody spot was apparent on their abdomen likely where his bullet had hit true. The hooded figure spoke in an a wispy feminine voice.
"You're the asshole that shot me?" The words didn't match the voice at all. Arlen's teeth gritted as he looked upon the Port Master of Kenzan Island, the Necromancer of the Black Coven, and unknown spider zoan, Chernaya Udava.{Techs Used Here}I Sekai ~ One World
