(OOC: truly sorry about the delay, work has been murder and I had to read through this thread, damn you people are heavy posters!)
Tomas looked up from his work on the lowest of three decks on the ship, for a second he had been working to balance his blade and work out his grand plan further when all of a sudden he had been tossed around like salad in a bowl. It took him a moment to get his head back to the real world, his memory jilted a bit from the rolling around.
After a few seconds of wondering he deducted that they had most likely hit something. Was it a rock or shoals? Not likely as he would have heard a more audible crack and he would most likely be swimming instead of standing. Had they hit an island? Again this seemed like an unlikely thing since there would have been no crack nor would the ship continue to float. The only option left was the logical one, they had crashed with another ship. He vaulted to his feet, his mind a mixture of annoyance and interest. It had been his own fault to leave the other two people, the rookie and the harlot, at the wheel. How had they failed to keep course, he had told them when he went below deck.
He emerged on to the deck, noticing the pink haired girl messing around with a number of things but he couldn't see Jack Dancer. They were situated close to another ship, one they had bumped against in the tides. The girl looked confused but trying to maintain course and by the ruckus coming from the vessel it was a clear sign to Tomas where the Dancer was.
He rubbed his forehead, his mind working at insane pace to keep up with the flow of information that was flooding his senses. He grabbed his huge weapon with one hand and slung it to his back, letting the weight of it anchor him. Then he moved over to the pink haired girl and snatched the few ropes from her hands. He tied the things down and settled them and let the ship slide in a steady course.
"Just take the wheel and keep it straight......oh and please don't damage this ship any more, you have no idea of the trouble I went through to get it!" He said, a little too harsh when he thought about it as he wasn't usually prone to losing his temper.
"I'm gonna try and find the Rookie!" he shouted as he nimbly jumped from the elevated prow of the ship and landed square in front of the door to the ship's kitchen. He could smell the chicken inside and something in his mind pricked and told him that Jack was somewhere inside.
"Mind ready and let's go" he said to himself as he entered
