The third and final cutting wind sailed towards a notorious figure whose only response was to smile insolently before taking flight into the sky for all he was worth, his tongue hanging from his mouth adding to the vulgarity that hung to him like an aura. For a few moments the beast like man only reveled the exhilarating sensation of floating through the air, his hands clasped firmly around the elongated hilt of the contrastingly elegant weapon that he held in his hand-it was all worth it in the end. Moments later the deck clattered under the sound of the metal plating on the bottom of his platform sandals making their landing and his eyes angled up towards the woman who returned his gaze with a prudent glare of her own; like two wary wolves they watched one another. It was perfect for just behind her the sound of steel matched the movement of another-Syph and Xun made a perfect tandem even in the worse conditions as their blows shredded the back of the Captain.
Being no stranger to bad positions of pain, Lelani Pheiffer easily tapped the Zoan swordsman’s blade away from her using his suddenly off-balance footing to her advantage, but all this was lost as the world narrowed to a tunnel of sounds and the soft thudding of his heart which was not quite so soft as he made it sound. “Just finish it…just friggin’ finish it” he repeated over and over his head as he wide base was supported by disgustingly veined legs.
Rocketing forth the salty air, the unkempt pirate only saw blurs of humanity about him even as he held his sword at the ready, just below his waist-it’s weight pulled on the already strained muscles of his body. His feet never touched the deck from his pounce, a feat that would no doubt be talked about by the marines that survived this rebellion-if there were any marines that survived this battle. Each sensation was real and larger than the next: the slickness of his sweat moistened epidermis, the widening his oxygen sucking nostrils, even the pain that erupted through his wrists as the blackened steel in his hands pulled towards the ground. There was nothing better than this euphoria so disconcerting that it made even the most potent sake seem like water. He didn’t even take into account the new presence that had suddenly began cutting down marines that approached her though there was almost as scent about her that tasted distinctly inhuman…perhaps it was that slightly metallic ring that bounced from her slight frame. It was this momentary distraction that allowed the supercilious slide unnoticed past his guard in midflight, the man’s saber angled to pierce through the pirate’s sternum-killing him in one shot would certainly make a name for him.
Except that things were never quite so easy when one dealt with a ‘stray dog’.
Twisting violently he literally threw the butt of the hilt down onto the fighter’s expertly lowered head and the crack that resounded when the lacquered handle struck human flesh was sickening enough to make the most weak hearted sick to their stomachs. Only the whites of Jack’s eyes were visible as the felled officer who had stuck out too much was smashed into the wooden flooring of the Los Aniceto’s deck-the man might never move again. His momentum unstopped the war path continued as he simply planted one foot into the ground, once again cracking the very wood upon which he stood with that beyond human strength running wild within his veins he spun with his eyes wide while his lips snarled.
Hardly the description of a human fighting, the scraggly haired felon didn’t bother taking a look into the surprised woman’s face when both blades she’d raised to stop him only sliced carefully along his cheek while the other poked through the red cloth of his gi: it was over. Paused only to catch his breath, drops of saline flowing from his caramel skin as the law enforcers around him caught their own winds while watching a scene that would no doubt signal the end of the struggle-their captain, a proud woman whose eyes never wavered as those palms embedded with speakers pressed with such gentleness into his stomach,
“Do what you’re going to do, Jack Dancer. I have no regrets” she said callously, her gaze only holding the image of the young scoundrel in mind should she manage to survive whatever came, but the way she licked her lips told volumes of her apprehension.
In a smile that seemed more similar to bearing his teeth he returned the icy coldness in her eyes with hot blooded rage of a wounded dog who’d been kicked one too many times, revenge was sweetest when the cuts were fresh, “That’s fine with me…just…GET THE HELL OFFA MY SHIP!!” he bellowed as suddenly sound burrowed through the woman’s body, bouncing off organs before firing through her justice coat and sending strands of its back shooting off into space as the entire upper deck of the Los Anicetos shook with the barrage of reverberating echoes that dropped those in the worst condition immediately.
“SAYANORA B*TCH!” he shouted with much phlegm as the woman stared down with bedazzled eyes that seemed not to comprehend what his words meant…just before she was sent rocketing off into space, past Syphalia, past the soldiers that had been too slow to catch her, and finally past any hopes of ever stopping the most daring vagrants on the seas she could probably have imagined.
It was only after the screeching noise of his Devil Fruit’s obnoxious power did his eyes rest upon the steel blade that protruded from his side-the poor Petty Officer had not made his sacrifice in vein. Looking over where his blade, the one he’d found some time ago lay on top of the unmoving body he’d crushed, the Captain of the Dancing Blades smiled even as trickles of blood rolled down from both sides of his lips. Smoke had swirled around him and Lelani during the attack as the kicked up dust created a column of sorts before releasing the woman into the sky and now as it dissipated leaving only a man licking blood from his fingers with a dangerous look in his eyes the marines were demoralized and scared.
Resting his hand on the saber embedded just south of his ribs he smiled a deranged smile before muttering coolly in a voice that carried over the silence easily, “Well that wasn’t a satisfying main course…I wonder which one of ‘em will stay for desert” he spoke candidly, his eyes flashing with the demonic glow of a possessed man. His words were for his crew, but they hung heavy upon any of the men who had heard them and some even bolted right then and there for the water-they wouldn’t risk their lives fighting a monster…it wasn’t part of their job description,
“F*ckin’ pathetic” he thought listlessly as his eyes rolled and he barely caught himself from falling onto his face. Some things were just too precious to give up on.
(OOC: Okay, we have about one more posts for each person in the thread. Anyone that does not post in the final round with themselves on the Los Anicetos gets the boot and I will stick to the two day posting schedule so please stay on top of this. We’re almost done.)

Mentaiko [f] -- The user blasts a massive tunnel of sound at the object or opponent, pushing them back and deafening them. This technique can be used anywhere that the speakers are present on the user’s body (i.e hands, tongue (mouth)). It can also vibrate bones painfully used as a direct attack on humans.
