Facing the wrath of a wordy Bella had not been half as bad as he’d believed it would be, but the matter seemed trivial as to what needed to be done now. He was just about to point out that she either captained the ship or they simply sailed off to a strip club island…of course he had none of the coordinates nor the nautical skills to guide them to such a place, but when the pink haired cutie was involved perhaps stretching the truth wasn’t a bad strategy to follow. Only something caught him by surprise, a noise pulling at his oversensitive ears that captured even the minutest sounds over the crashes of the rolling waves and the breathing of the person in front of him; he heard familiar voices abroad as well as the unified movement of navy officers. He’d been eyeing Bella the entire time, taking careful note of how she scrubbed at her collar as if he were a leper; that would have to change or else he’d throw her overboard…
Maybe not, but the idea was quite entertaining.
The dry expression he did give her was a bit more serious than he usually got with her, “We ain’t got time for this…I think…” he hesitated in telling her because he wasn’t sure if he wanted to sail towards the source of the sounds or hurry in the other direction. Firming his upper lip and even tightening his balled fists as if the decision was an enemy he could beat the living daylights out of, the rebellious and often times despicable man faced the music, “The others are on a ship not too far from there” he pointed towards the looming merchant ship that bobbed easily on the soft waters of the East Blue area. Unsure of what reaction he’d get the ex pirate captain decided that matters would be taken into his own hands as he slipped past the girl, barely giving her an opportunity to offer her opinion, one he felt wouldn’t be quite as reassuring as he needed it to be.
He was a hard man, but even so he’d never been nervous about facing anyone before. Until now that is. Wind kicked the salty feeling of liberation in his face as he took the many pronged helm, spread his legs to a comfortable, and put that super human strength he’d worked so hard to attain to use, “UUSSSOOOO HEEETTTTAAA!!” the powerful man bellowed to the clear skies above. His voice carrying into the air where the seagulls flapped haplessly in response to the thunderous clap that emanated from the returning rookie of the sea; he would find his crew and once again they’d sail the seas until they fought every battle that there was to fight.
Or his name wasn’t Jack Dancer…
Meanwhile…
Anson blinked as a nervous bead of sweat rolled down the side of his head. Of course he wasn’t quite familiar with how things worked amongst the lower ranking officers as he’d shot through the ranks fairly quickly thanks in part to laudable skills as a fighter. So when he watched one of the supposed “men” who had asked for a favor suddenly lash out with a dreadful kick to one Ren Korchov, he began to wonder if he needed to review officer etiquette manuals again. That was when he saw the cell doors open and even caught sight of the emptiness that had once been filled with captive pirates.
Unbelievable. How could something like this happen on his honorable watch? He was an honorable man…they had the gall to do this to him? It had been sometimes since the tallish, yet still statuesque man had gotten angry with his brown, flowing tassels of hair and the smooth curves of his cheek. He was actually a favorite among the Captain’s cabinet, which was an assortment of different captains chosen to do assigned missions and usually was the one to receive the nod when “true” skill was needed. Always one for enjoying a challenge the focused man completed his tasks heartily and charismatically; even his enemies were almost too proud to have been defeated by him. Except these damn Dancing Blade Pirates…they alone fought against his reputation and had even gone to the level of being dishonorable enough to trick him.
Leaving Ren to fend for himself Anson quickly rumbled down the stairs where a few of the faces he’d sent to prepare the cannons laid passed on the ground. Not one of the pirates had remained in their confinement units, “UUOOOHHHH!!!!”, came the frustration of the now steaming, literally, steaming navy captain. His troubles were only beginning it seemed as the entire ship leaned unexpectedly to one side sending crates of ammos and provisions sliding in every direction. That could only mean one thing…
“Mayday! Mayday! We’re going down!” he shouted into the Den Den Mushi which immediately connected him to Lelani. The passive woman had been assigned the task of towing the hulking mass of a ship those scoundrels possessed to Impel Down, but now she was the only reliable unit that could make it over to them in time. No answer crackled over the snail communication device instead the dull set of eyes simply returned his gaze with mocking silence, “Che…what a useless woman. Come to sector 792-Alpha in East Blue!” he said in an unusually hostile voice before ending the connection.
Water slid in from down the hall of the ship continued to tilt into an upright position leaving him little chance to do anything other than rush to the top deck and hope that he could manage to leap to the other ship…unfortunately along with the ammo and other material…a rubber ducky slipped from a box. The bane of any man or woman’s existence, the plastic avian avenger seemed to become an aid to the pirates as it sent the man slipping on it’s cute rubbery surface on his way to fall head first onto the creaking wooden floor where he would lie until he drowned…the end of a proud, refined captain met such a vulgar ending.
The only battle that remained now would be against one such Ren Korchov and the man whose power was the Daiba Daiba no mi. Caution is advised…the ship is going under…

K…EVERYONE GET OFF THE NAVY SHIP NOW. IT’S SINKING IN THE NEXT POST.
-Memo get ready to meet some of the crew as they will be taking over the San Fortuna while at the same time beating up any marine thugs that kinda showed up in the initial siege.
-Ren Korchov will appear on San Fortuna just as Jack and Bella (maybe Thor too) appear which ends up in a quick one post beat down then we set sail for our own ship)
