It felt nice to have a ship. One that was already beginning to feel like home even though they had hardly just left the harbor to Roguetown. Kane let out a pleasant sigh as he sat down at one of the chairs to a table. One that just so happened to be bolted into the floor. Which would definitely be convenient if they encountered rough weather or obstacles in their journey to the Grand Line.
Not that they were going there right away, however. First of all Kane, Amisi, and Desert Punk were heading for Mirrorball Island. Hopefully there they would be able to locate a Navigator that would be skilled enough to direct them even through the unpredicable oceans that they were going to encounter in the Hoshi crew's search for One Piece.
It seemed that Desert Punk had taken Amisi's cue to go relax as an opportunity to go exploring, for she was no where in sight for a while. Kane really wanted to check out his new ship himself, being Captain and all, as well. But he really wanted to get some good food in him first. Besides, he was more eager to see what his new cook was capable of. A happy grin broke out on his face again as he thought of that. Finally he really did have a crew.
Listening to the rustling noises and sound of wood against wood as Amisi opened some drawers to find something, Kane just allowed himself a moment to relax. For the first time he really started to consider what had happened in Roguetown. Surely they had all caused a lot of commotion. Would that mean that Kane would end up with a bounty on his head? Perhaps even his crew members as well? The prospect actually just made him all the more eager to continue forward. It seemed ironic to him that those that he thought so unjust would be seeking him out.
Besides his feet, Kane didn't feel much ache in his body even though he had punched so many Marines. That was one good thing about having a Devil Fruit. Even though he couldn't swim any longer, he still could cause a lot more damage than a normal human and be less effected by it in turn. But Kane wasn't normally one to dwell on things. So when Amisi asked him if there was anything special he wanted, his head snapped up and his blue eyes instantly seemed to sparkle.
"Oh, something with fish in it would be good if there is any!" Kane replied to her question, visibily pleased that he had been asked. There was a rather large refrigerator near Amisi's right side. Perhaps that would yield what the Captain wanted. Though Kane remained seated, not wanting to get in his Nakama's way. She knew what she was doing. He could tell by the fluid way she moved about the kitchen. Her heart and soul really seemed to be in it.
