With the former guard now pulled and hid within the overwhelming aroma of the Fairy Dusk poppy, Isaac was certain that the man's limp and lifeless body would remain out of view of the next person that might possibly wander by. Searching the man's property, Isaac retrieved a small white snail like creature that was commonly known as a Den Den Mushi. These little creatures were curious things that had always fascinated the former Marine, as his own Den Den (which his former Warrant Officer Caroline had given the nickname "Little Saifer") had taken on Isaac's appearance, down to his jacket and eye patch. The strangely shaped man's communication snail had a small black shell with the same black jacket and even had a small Red Sparrow logo on its sleeve.
Leaving the deceased man behind in the depths of the grove, Isaac looked both ways before stepping back out from a particularly large flower. As he did, he brushed the drooping petals with his shoulder. As a result, a faint pink dusting was left on his right shoulder which lightly smeared as he wiped the particles away from his "borrowed" jacket. Resuming his careful and deliberate walk, the balls of his feet touched the ground slowly, each foot moving directly in front of the other in a straight line. With each step, Isaac moved deeper and deeper into the grove, eyes peeled both to the left and right for movement.
Whatever Pluto had actually accomplished above ground did not deter the guards of the garden as Alec, in all fairness, had previously warned. The specially picked enforcers tasked with protecting the source of fortune of the Sparrows did not panic, much less leave their post to see what was happening on the surface level. Instead, they maintained their position and kept their focus solely on grove and the poppies that inhabited it. They were quiet, not giving away their positions to the scouting intruder. They stayed off of their Den Den Mushi's, maintaining precise radio etiquette to minimize unnecessary chatter which would then leave the lines of communication open for those who needed to utilize the snail like creatures in case of an emergency. But worse still, they were all but invisible to Isaac who could only hope to "run" into them; a strategy that was risky at best and by all accounts foolish. And while his eyes had now adjusted to the low light environment that he found himself in, Isaac could not waste time wandering around the large nursery hoping he could find the enforcers before they found him; or worse yet, before reinforcements arrived before Isaac could truly finish his end of the operation.
And that sense of urgency began to form an idea. In the same way Pluto was creating a large scale diversion to force the Sparrows into action, Isaac decided that he too would utilize the same tactic. If he could create enough of a chaotic situation inside of the greenhouse, then Isaac could force the enforcers into an uncomfortable and, most likely, completely new situation. They were, after all, tasked with guarding a place that was rarely, if ever, under attack due to the extra level of security needed to make the trip to the bottom most levels of the tower, much less enter the garden. While they would not completely be flustered, seeing as they were still top notch enforcers trained by the head of the enforcers (Kory), it would give the intruder a chance to examine how they functioned and coordinated themselves.
The question was, therefore, what type of distraction should he utilize. Isaac could skip straight towards his end goal and light the entire grove ablaze. That, however, would take time. Each row of the Fairy Dusk poppy was separated from the next row by a five foot dirt pathway. And without any oil or other "starter" that Isaac could spread and connect from row to row, the lack of heavy oxygen in the room would not be in enough supply to allow the fire to naturally "jump" from row to row. He would, instead, have to manually and individually light a fire at every row if he was going to destroy the grove through pyrotechnic means. Maybe he could collapse and bury the roof if he could find a weak point in the structural integrity of roof that stood overhead. But that, too, would take time to investigate. And in order to gain that type of time, Isaac would need to be free to roam about the five acres without fear of being seen; and in order to do that, he the ex-Marine would need to effectively take each and every single enforcer out of commission.
Besides, causing that much destruction outright could bring the aforementioned reinforcements to flood towards the grove before Isaac was ready to make his escape. He would need something more subtle, something that would not cause Alec (who still stood on the other side of the door at the entrance of the grove) to rush in or give him a reason to distrust Levi's intentions. Remembering the old revolver that Alec had given him, which was still tucked in his pants near the small of his back, Isaac had an idea. Gripping the well polished wooden handle of the firearm, Isaac checked to make sure the revolver was loaded before slipping back into a patch of flowers.
Bang! Holding the revolver high above his head, Isaac let one single lead ball fly out of the barrel and lodge itself into the steel ceiling overhead. Holding the small Den Den Mushi in one hand, the Marine hunkered down in his makeshift hiding place, placing a finger of his lips as if to single the sentient communication creature to stay quiet to which the said Den Den Mushi responded with nothing more than a simple nod.
"Who's there!?"
"Was that you Damon?"
"That wasn't me, where'd it come from?"
"Doesn't matter, find it, now!"{OC Colors}Saifer - #007299
