Pluto - 1
In an abandoned bar, warmth had enveloped her. The over-sized grey cloak that wrapped around her tightly like a blanket had slipped off. Her slender arms wrapped around her brother’s waist; her face rested against his lap. Like a teddy bear that guards a child for comfort, she felt protected. In the Grand Line, she knew that she could not survive all by herself. Her brother was the only family she had left, and never again did she ever want to part ways with him. She didn’t care about how big her family was. Pluto and Ara, she considered them both as family; they were like her older brother and sister. They were her mentors, guardians, and friends. She loved them both dearly. They were her whole world; they were the reason why she could see so much of the vast world, exploring countless of islands.
Voices. In the deep, murky subconscious realm in her sleeping mind, she heard her brother. She heard Ara. She heard Isaac. She heard someone unfamiliar. They were all talking to each other, having a discussion. Like an underwater bubble floating towards the light, she slowly woke up, sensing her posture and positioning. Her weighted eyelids lethargically opened as a pair of violet-hued eyes gazed up towards her brother’s face.
“Morning ~,” she said sleepily.
Ara stepped around to pick up the cloak from the floor, “Good morning, Rebecca.”
She then draped the cloak around the boy from behind, letting it hang off his shoulders like a cape.
Squished beneath the little girl was a jacket that belonged to an ex-marine soldier. Raising her head up, Rebecca casted a glance around the room, noticing someone she had yet to meet, a homeless man wearing a beanie, a green sweater, and blue jeans. Casting her glance down at the table, she noticed empty plates of food and large trays of rice and chicken, but in addition to that, there was a grey, metallic suitcase left wide open with syringes neatly organized in a five by ten grid. Each syringe contained a pink fluid within the transparent container.
Beneath her was a marine jacket that belonged to Isaac, an ex-marine solider who was once a lieutenant. She was chosen by him to hold on to this.
