Appearance
While both Bebop Brothers look similar, especially in their attire, there is a notable difference in their heights which separates them. Flynn has a significantly smaller and ever so slightly wider frame. Beneath their helmets and clothes, both resemble metal, humanoid-shaped machines, closely related to the shape of human musculature. Two large, yellow, eyeballs rest oddly out of place in their iron skulls.
Attire
The other, most notable difference between Flynn and Tron are their helmets. Flynn’s helmet is golden, with a slanted but straight bottom, and an otherwise uninterrupted rounded surface, with the visor of the helmet curving around the entire front. There is a pocket on each side where the ears would be, similar to the shape of a door, where wiring and space for mechanical connections are present.
Personality
Human Consciousness/Overwritten Memory
Despite his artificial nature, Flynn believes himself to be human. Therefore like any other human, he has a distinct personality. He has memories implanted into his consciousness of a human life as a male of 21 years of age, despite only having been constructed 2.5 years ago. His programming also filters any details which would reveal his robotic identity, instead leading Flynn to interpret them as human activities or abilities. He also has an image in his mind of his own appearance as a human below his helmet, which is patently false.
Hot Temper
Flynn has an extremely short fuse. He is often on the defensive, and it takes very little to make him inflamed and confrontational, though usually about things of very little consequence. He is truly reluctant to draw his weapons unless there is a truly dire situation, during which he can become eerily silent. Never draw a weapon unless you’re willing to kill - or willing to die.
Smooth Talker
While his brother may be mute, Flynn, on the other hand, loves to talk. He will voice his thoughts to his brother very often, even if he may not always get a response. He can also be a very smooth talker, whether it be in negotiations, to charm others, to gain entry into restricted areas, or otherwise.
Leader
Out of the pair of brothers, Flynn, as opposed to his brother Tron, is the leader of the group. This is in part due to his more outspoken personality as well as his brother’s inability to speak - a more effective mode of communication, especially in combat.
Fiercely Protective
Both brothers are fiercely protective of each other, ready to die in combat to defend the other. This comes out in other moments, such as in verbal exchanges or when considering their next moves (the Bebop Brothers usually don’t separate). Despite their robotic natures, they both share a deep brotherly love and trust for the other. However, they also feel they have a duty to protect the weak and help those in need, giving the pair a vigilante-esque quality.
Compassionate
Both brothers have a deep-rooted compassion for their fellow person. In another life, perhaps they would have been Marines, but their mission for revenge on instruments of the WG quickly disabused them of that notion. Even when not being paid in their line of work as bounty hunters, they’ll stand up for others.

There was once a brilliant inventor on a Grand Line island, who felt as though he had it all - the support of his kingdom, a beautiful wife, two growing boys, and an immense laboratory to pursue his scientific passions. The Island, as most islands are in Paradise, was home to strange phenomena - a rare sort of lightning which the inventor discovered could be harnessed into a power source.
His sons, Thommy and Franck-Manuel, nicknamed “Tron” and “Flynn”, loved playing with the inventor’s numerous robots, many of which produced melodic sounds and vibrations they found pleasant. The inventor, however, was dreaming of a world of technology even further beyond. A world where robots could not only replay the voices of others, but think and speak with their own voice.
Soon, however, the inventor’s life would fall apart. The news of the meteorological phenomenon and the inventor’s work spread, and soon became the object of envy - and of desire. And it was so that the kingdom was plunged into war. It was brutal, devastating war, and the inventor was stripped of his passion. Against his wishes, his laboratory was turned into an arms factory, with his only goal to invent weapons that would give his people the killing edge. Thoroughly against being an instrument of destruction, the inventor fought back as hard as he could, to no avail. It was necessary for victory.
Things only took a turn for the worse from there. Able bodies were needed on the front line, there were no exceptions. So it was, that one rainy morning, the inventor received word: his sons, Thommy and Franck-Manuel, would be returning from the front lines onto which they had been drafted - in body bags.
Nothing could quell the pain in the inventor’s heart. He became distant from his grieving wife, rarely spent time at home, was wrapped up in deep, unrelenting sessions at his laboratory, trying to revive his sons from the dead. In his pain, there were no more ethics, no depths he wouldn’t stoop to get his sons back. Upon their deaths, he had saved their bodies from decay by keeping them frozen. In the aftermath, he performed autopsies on them, examined their brains and neural pathways to help him construct an artificial intelligence.
Years later, after a divorce he hardly had the time to pay attention to, the inventor had run out of funds. So desperate was he to complete his project and bring his dear sons back, in no matter what form, that he compromised his morals once again and turned to an unlikely source: the World Government. Motivated by the thought of obedient robotic soldiers that could nonetheless adapt and think in human fashion, they recruited the inventor into their ranks.
After much work, the older son, Thommy, was reborn - but he was incomplete, his personality wasn’t perfectly developed, still robotic, clunky, and most of all, he was unable to speak, needing the help of a visor to do so. More than a few words and he short-circuited. Yet, the inventor could tell. Underneath there, he had mapped his son’s personality and memories. He was now a robot, yes, but he was himself and sentient again: it was Thommy.
Progress was slow and the World Government grew impatient. The inventor had one more chance, and two years later, Franck-Manuel was reborn. This time, his son was there and speaking. Happy to see his father, inquiring about the whereabouts of his mother, and most of all wondering why the feeling all throughout his body was so strange. It was only when Franck-Manuel’s new body walked in front of a mirror that he witnessed an unbelievable horror - he wasn’t truly Franck-Manuel, but a robot facsimile. The news was too much, and he suffered a psychotic break.
The inventor wouldn’t start from scratch. He reset their memories to adolescence and worked with the robots, writing new subroutines and erasing their memory if they didn’t work, all to refine his work.
Eventually, frustrated by his lack of progress, the World Government revoked the inventor’s funding and support, and came to seize his progress. Encouraged by his breakthrough, and unwilling to hand his sons over, he hatched a master plan. He wrote new subroutines in his robot sons’ programming, forging completely new identities and removing their ability to see their own artificial nature, preserving their psyche. He sent them out into the world, making them believe they were humans who had suffered in experiments by his hand, knowing they would seek him out for revenge, and then went into hiding from the World Government.
The new pair, Flynn and Tron, believed themselves to be ordinary brothers, kidnapped by the government and experimented upon, resulting in Tron’s muteness and more reserved behavior. Upon their escape from the laboratory, they learned the skills to survive, eventually becoming bounty hunters, hunting down criminals to earn their living.

Sonic Shooting
”Aspect-like” Quality
Sonic Shooting allows the wielder of Rollin’ and Scratchin’ to fire soundwaves instead of regular bullets. Traveling at sonic speeds, these bullets are virtually unstoppable since they are made up of vibrations and pass through objects.
