Harley Post #1 / Brandy Post #1
"I wish I could do more for you, but..." Holly tore the wrapper off of a lollipop with practiced ease, jammed it in her mouth, and then spun her chair around. The young, orange-haired doctor was wearing her trademark and quite professional-looking white coat over the sort of outfit one would have expected from a girl her age; a simple, off-white tank top with a stylized pink flower logo dominating the middle, jean shorts, and flip flops. "I'm not a veterinarian, so I'm kind of playing this by ear? At the very least, you shouldn't be allergic to any of the ingredients, but if you experience any sort of side effects from taking it, please report them right away so we can adjust accordingly."
Sitting on the very edge of the cot beside the doctor's desk was the knightly feline, d'Artanyan, wearing none of his armaments and clutching an opaque bottle between his paws. "Of course! Thank you again, doctor, and... Sorry for the trouble..."
"It's not like you would've known you got seasick like this," Brandy offered, standing there in the doorframe with her arms crossed over her chest. She too had shed her armor, although she was still clothed - a plain shirt and pants, both in neutral colors, and similarly plain boots. Rather than hiding her face under the brim of a cavalier hat, though, the young woman wore an off-white face mask that covered her face from the middle of her nose down. "I don't know that you've ever been on a proper boat before."
"You really went everywhere on those airships before this?" The young doctor spun her chair around toward the purple-haired woman, eyes wide as images of knights and hunters and cats flying through the air came to life in her mind.
"I-" Brandy cracked under the pressure of a single child thinking she was cool, and stared up at the ceiling while she pressed a hand against the back of her neck. "Not everywhere, no. But between islands in the archipelago, yeah, it was... Usually easier. A lot of the islands didn't have sea ports... I've been on a boat before, though. It's just, d'Artanyan hasn't."
Holly thought that answer over, and then nodded her head. "That's cool. Alright, well," she spun her seat about again, this time to face her desk, "you take those with lunch, and we'll see how you're feeling a few hours later. Hopefully you'll be able to keep lunch down, at least.""Are you playing checkers by yourself?"
The question was met by a cold glare from the one-eyed woman sitting on her knees at the coffee table. "It's shogi.""Oh."
A moment of silence passed between the two. Sayuri, wearing her usual garb sans long jacket, looked over the board and did her best to ignore Harley, wearing only a black sports bra and matching athletic shorts, standing over the couch behind her with arms folded under her chest as she stared over the board with all of the recognition of a goldfish attempting to identify horse species. "It's better with another player," Sayuri said with a sigh after a few moments has passed. "I was going to show Holly how to play, but she's been busy with you-know-what for-""The vomiting cat?"
"..." The raven-haired quartermaster pinched the bridge of her nose. "... Yes. D'Artanyan's still seasick."
