Magnus #1
Taking his signature Shield stance, he was blocking and redirecting her attacks, patiently waiting for the tinniest opening he could capitalize upon. And it appeared. As impatient as ever, Aurelia tried to break through his defense, making much bigger swing then she should.
Sacrificing the continuity of her attacks for greater power, she gave him enough time to react. Taking short step forward, Magnus met her punch before it could develop it´s full power, redirecting it away from his body with a gentle push from the side. Following the momentum of her own attack, Aurelia lost her balance opening herself for Magnus´s counterattack.
“Spear”
Stepping even closer, Magnus´s fist connected with her abdominal, before lunging forward to send he flying across the room.
“Hehehehehehehehe...ouch….hehehehehe”
Aurelia´s laughter ringed across the dojo, as she was slowly picking herself up from the ground.
Tilting his head to the side Magnus asked.
“What are you laughing at you dum****, you got beaten again.”
She grinned in response.
“Yes, but this time I forced you to use your real techniques. That means I am getting stronger!”
The white haired fighter smirked.
“Yeah, you are. See you next week?”
She nodded.
“Yeah, next week!”
Watching her thick mane of blonde hair disappearing as she was limping through the door made him smile again. It was more than year since she challenged him for the first time. Fifteen years old girl with no strength or skill who wanted to join the royal army. Turned away for being too week, she decided to prove them wrong by challenging and defeating the man who hold the unofficial title of “Strongest Soldier” in the past, Magnus. Yet even through he was far from his prime the former marine managed to beat her in single hits. This however didn´t discouraged her. On the contrary, she started training like a crazy, challenging him every Sunday morning, closing the gap in their strength with every battle lost. Now, more than year later the weak girl was long gone, replaced by strong and confident lass that could easily made to the army, yet she stubbornly continued to challenge him instead.
“Hmmm, maybe I should challenge myself a bit, or she will really beat me...”
Magnus muttered for himself, as he noticed the red bruises all over his Shield arm.
