Looking to make a Marine Crew

Hello all.

I have a pending promotion for my character River Rutherford to Captain. That being said i am hoping to make a crew of Marines to sail the GL and Blues to intercept pirate crews. The goal of the crew is to interact with active pirate crews in threads and to maintain an active storyline that we produce.

I am not particular on Justice type and Rank, but understand that River is a Moral Justice guy and its important to him.

Nicky Knuckles is a Moral Justice kind of Marine, too. He's a Seaman Recruit but I'm here every day looking to RP. Count me in!

Can I make a suggestion? Would you consider making River a Base Captain? We have three bases at the moment without a Captain so you can take any you like.

This will give you the opportunity to work with any of the marines that are based at this station and can determine who is active and who isn't. You can take part in few plots before taking your squad over to the grand-line when you feel you have accomplished enough from the blue's.

I am not necessarily opposed. I will have to look into what personal are at which base and see if anyone wold mind having River in charge.

Which Blue Base is best?

But in the meantime im still searching for Marines to join a mobile crew.

You can have a mobile squad of your own whilst having the overall blue's project in your hand so a lot of new marine to pick and choose from.

The South is pretty active. After the whole Jack Dancer fiasco, they got a base to rebuild. North has about 4 active marines as does the East. I've got the West with my Captain Arashi Kanna and am building my own mobile crew around it.

Also, being a Captain you can create your own marine NPC's that you can have as part of your set-up that you or other members of your crew can use. Just to help fill out the numbers but that's optional.

Rad and I will be starting a thread at Marineford to hold us down for a bit while we collect the people we need. Afterwards we will head to a Blue and set up shop.

As of this moment we will be between a wandering crew and stationed in one of the Blues, depends on the personnel of the marines site wide.
