Imuka's eyes were ablaze in fury as their standoff met an abrupt end. Both combatants had pushed each other away, putting distance between them. While this was going on, Robin seemed to easily dispatch a few Marines before running off to wherever their block-headed Captain was supposedly.
"So you didn't do what it takes to be a marine, and in response you chickened out and joined the losing side.. Sounds like a woman in distress to me." Brick taunted as he reached for his belt. A gauntlet-like device detached itself, allowing him to put it on. The object seemed to come to life as it extended itself to the point where it was covering half of his arm.
"You shouldn't have told that woman to leave, Imuka.. The least you could have done is raise your odds by having another girl to face me," the muscle-headed idiot taunted further.
"Like hell I need help. I can take you down without my armor or my weapons, and I will!" for a moment her angered face twisted into a bloodthirsty grin. In that moment,NappaBrick plunged his fist into the ground, creating a strong impact shockwave that made ripples in the cobblestone pavement, ones that would surely throw the ex-Marine around like she was nothing. Unlike Brick, however, Imuka was faster and much more nimble. She stood her ground as the ripple approached. As it reached her, she squatted down and then launched herself off of the apex of the ripple. She soared through the air, coming down with a single punch aimed for his head.
Brick was no amateur, close combat was something he was extremely formidable in. He blocked her punch with his left arm and countered with a gauntleted right hook aimed to her side. Though she tried to roll with it, the gauntlet appeared to increase the force of the impact several times over. It felt as though she had been kicked in the side by a horse. The wind had been knocked out of her as she was sent flying through several stands. She could have sworn she had broken a few ribs. She slowly got to her feet as she wiped the blood from her mouth. "What's wrong? I always knew you were weak, but this weak? I'm disappointed." Brick sneered.
Imuka said nothing as she glared at him, shrugging off the pain, broke off into a sprint. As she grew closer, Brick lunged forward with an intercepting punch. Almost on reflex, Imuka ducked forward, just barely avoiding the punch and countering with a strong thrust into his stomach from her right arm. Despite his heavily muscle appearance, Imuka seemed to break through his iron defense, hitting him squarely on the solar plexus. With the wind knocked out of him along with some spit and probably a bit of his lunch, he stumbled backwards. Using this window of time to her advantage, Imuka broke off into a combo of punches, striking him several times on his torso, abdomen, and head.
Before she could finish her combo, Brick recovered and grabbed her arm, picking the much smaller girl and tossing her overhead. He thing struck out a quick punch with his gauntleted hand. It seemed as though a portion of the gauntlet pulled back and then snapped back forward. The purpose of this would be made readily apparent as the sound of a whip cracking reverberated through the streets. Brick had created a shockwave with the air, hitting Imuka again. She flew again, her back slamming into the wall of a building. Shrugging off the pain again due to sheer willpower and stubbornness, Imuka got back to her feet, eying Brick as he broke into a lumbering jog towards her with his right arm drawn back for another punch. Imuka quickly got to her feet and rushed towards him as well, her arm similarly drawn back for another punch.
