Personality
A young woman with a personality as odd as she looks to some, Lizzie tends to be seen as somewhat quirky and strange by most due to her various forms of eccentricity and free spiritedness, and in many ways seems to present herself as someone who is upbeat, impulsive and even erratic in her behaviour. Not tending to demonstrate a whole lot of common sense and instead exhibiting a childlike wonder which defies her age and implications of teen angst and apathy, the spirited woman has a sense of positivity, energy and curiosity that loan an innocent quality to her character which can often make her seem either endearing or annoying, depending on who she deals with.
To most seeming like an unusual but largely fun-loving soul on the cusp of womanhood, Miss London is cheerful and inquisitive, and social in a way that leaves her to engage with people in the vicinity with a frequency that seems to disregard notions of privacy, though happy to chat with herself if nobody else wants to talk with her. The type who seems to constantly strive to find stimulation and believed to suffer from an attention-deficit disorder, the blonde is smart but scatter-brained at times, and grows bored quickly, and rather frustrated when it comes to monotony and tedium.
More often than not seeming to be the sort of person who acts upon her own mind and dislikes being bossed around, this fact seems particularly prominent when Lizzie doesn't agree with or understand the purpose of another's attempt to control her, though she can be more compliant with people she is bonded with, though this tends to require some give and take. At the very least wanting to make the people she likes and cares about happy, while she can be prone to mischief and even rebellion she is also more sensitive than she appears, and usually becomes 'difficult' as a response to feelings of stress or neglect.
Somewhat obnoxious at times, Miss London is known to be kind of impulsive and melodramatic, pouting and throwing tantrums like a child if she doesn’t get her own way but she isn’t totally self-centred either. Possessing some degree of empathy and consideration as well as a desire to see others happy, she acts in a way meant to amuse herself and the people around them and finds she connects best with children because she loves to engage in silliness and laugh about such things.
Fun loving and something of a thrill seeker, Lizzie seems to possess a definite 'leap before she looks' kind of mentality, often hopping into situations others would find terrifying and laughing like a child at the rush she gets. Possessing a higher pain tolerance than most and perhaps even a tendency to find a certain stimulation in masochism, while this has been tempered and diminished so that it isn't dangerous to herself, there are times when she can become quite confused as to why people are reluctant to do what she is doing, or why they might regret it after.
This apparently eccentricity seeming to stem from complicated aspects of her at times abusive upbringing but also perhaps a symptom of emulation of her idol, she is highly desensitized to things like violence and its associations, which seem to fuel her fearless behaviour even further. Almost wilfully contrary in places and the type who loves to flex imagination, she is also someone who likes to think outside the box, and often can present a contrasting opinion to most on almost any subject or situation. Though that being said, this doesn't mean it's always something people want to hear!
A playful, upbeat and usually less than serious person, these qualities do not mean she is without more serious and severe sides to her character. Having been the victim of some pretty serious abuse as she grew up, Lizzie is outraged in her own way about such things, and will act against it however she sees fit. Seeming to be cynical enough to much in regard to confidence in the systems of society, but that hardly surprising when she slipped through the cracks so easily, this impulsive girl believes that one needs to enact justice with one’s own hands in order to make the world a better place, rather than waiting for police or so-called heroes to do so. She will not overlook cruelty in any form if she feels she can do something about it.
Possessing a somewhat complex moral stance because of this, though she dislikes suffering or malice in most examples, Miss London is happy to do bad things when it's necessary, like hurting people who she feels deserve it, or fun, like swiping a hand cart to ride it down an impressive hill even if she does wreck it doing so. More flexible in her thinking and accordingly her ethics, she tends not to see what the big deal is over petty crimes like stealing in most situations, the girl seems to consider this more mischief than genuine harm, though this tends to be conditional to her desire to prevent unhappiness and torment.
Not the type to take anything away from someone who needed it, she instead seems to operate in a 'Robin Hood' type manner to liberate finances from those with plenty or ill-gotten gains, or brush off things like petty theft as "nothing they'll miss for long". Seeming to even present something of a double standard for herself in this regard, she'd likely act against another thief trying to steal a treasured item from someone she knew or even a stranger with a decent impression, though at the same time wouldn't take much time to wonder if she was doing the same when caught in the heat of the moment, showing yet more of the contradiction which seems to define her…
Appearance
A young woman with a near irrepressible grin and a rather eccentric appearance, while Lizzie could make herself look like any typically pretty blonde girl, she instead seems to eschew tradition in favour of a vibe which could be described as 'clown goth', and is sugary sweet and punkish in appearance. Often wearing makeup which can be rather prominent and not limited to a heavy layer of bright and white foundation in addition to heavy eye colour and lively lip gloss, maturing styles and alt vibes take a somewhat childish visage and add an element of dishevelled rebellion in purposefully having her application appear worn or runny, and she isn't adverse to making it look like she's been crying by the look of her smoky mascara, or sporting little flourishes like hearts or other symbols in place of teardrops.
The tresses of the teen as much a statement about herself as her face, this vibrant vixen is a big fan of hair dyes and in spite of the bright natural colour of her locks prone to colouring it, she tends to favour temporary effects that can wash out in short periods so that she can revise this canvas more regularly than most, and tends to air toward pink, red, blue and black in the tones she prefers, though has recently developed a fondness dip dying to highlight the tips. Usually keeping her erratic colour in a relatively stable length which hangs to her shoulder blades with long bangs, she likes to play up a somewhat schoolgirl image by wearing twin tails, though isn't against the idea of letting that hair hang loose or in another style depending on occasion.
Besides this unusual fondness for cosmetic in many other ways the external appearance of Miss London largely representative of a girl in her late teen years, she is of roughly average height and weight, and possesses a slim but slightly curvaceous figure which seems to especially emphasize her hips. In good shape and keeping herself that way though more for her fondness for acrobatics and violence than popular appeal, though not necessarily lacking in body confidence for that fact, she is quite trim and toned in her build and can make herself look rather good because of that, though usually does so on her own terms.
Dressing in a casual style usually, Miss London tends wear functional and light clothing such as shorts, tank tops, tee shirts and can look something of a tomboy. However, don’t be fooled. This blue beauty has a big girly streak deep down and will wear more flamboyantly feminine items if the mood suits her, giving a real variety and lack of predictability to her wardrobe. Ultimately seeming to wear anything that seems to catch her eye and somewhat 'loud' in her design, she rarely wears ensembles without a strong colour theme, and is fond of exploiting the same favourites she has for her hair in this regard, though also might blend in some yellow or maybe animal print as well.
Interestingly somewhat sticky fingered when it comes to clothing, she will often nab items from shops that catch her eye, or liberate them from people who seem underserving of the marvels she wears, but is pretty easy come and easy go when it comes to her wardrobe and laments loss of everything but her favourites very little. Possessing little in the way of 'costume' for her heroic duties aside from the use of a domino mask she keeps in her pocket or maybe something more complex to carry when she fancies a flourish, she seems to do little to separate herself from her persona, and perhaps relies on the fact that 'Babydoll' is more well known than anything to protect her identity. After all, she has a reasonable popularity, and that's bred a few imitators as far as her style goes.

Background
The young life of Lizzie London something of a mystery even to herself, while she knows her name it appears that her earliest memories are repressed of her youngest years, which is probably a good thing. Not remembering anything about her parents or any other form of biological family, it seems at one time she was either abducted or otherwise fell into the hands of someone who traded her as a commodity, and led to her ending up in a place that no one would wish to remember because of that.
The earliest memories she possesses ones of hardship and brutality, she was forced to eat her devil fruit at a young age and pushed through a gruelling and at times violent regime which honed her form and abilities, being where she seemed to develop her at times phenomenal strength and stamina. Flashes of recollection seeming to also involve people in white coats and the sharp needles they brought with her, she has a lifelong distaste for both ever since, such were the horros inflicted upon her.
Luckily rescued from this plight by a roguish and rebellious type called "Punchin' Judy" and her carnival-like troupe of vigilantes, she was liberated from the horror by a drifting crime fighter with a clownish routine and a jokey but brutal style, who seemed to have a soft spot for children and a loathing for any who preyed on them. This when she truly seems to feel like she was 'born' proper, Lizzie remembers being pulled out of some odd machine that was showing her picture after picture by a friendly face who held her close and told her that she was safe now, she looked up to her rescuer and knew from that moment she wished to be just like her. I mean, she barely knew her, but someone who could make her smile and laugh and kick wholesale ass as well was the closest thing she had in her life to a role model, and therefore kind of enamoured the young, naïve and beleaguered soul she rescued.
Not the only child who was pulled out of this situation but unlike other kids having little to no recollection of her life before and therefore nowhere to go except back into the system of care, Judy opted to bring her to be looked after by a friend of hers, and left Lizzie there under the pretence of being the guy's niece from another land. Her new caregiver going by the name of Frank London, and a former police officer who was allegedly Judy's uncle, he often seemed exasperated by his new charge but knew she needed someone to take care of her, and gradually their connection softened and grew stronger. He was effectively her dad, even if he looked a bit old to be so, and though their connection could become fraught the girl loved him as such.
Lizzie something of an outcast, though she was sent to school she seemed to have a hard time making friends because most people found her strange or awkward, a fact which was probably not helped by her idolization and emulation of the clownish but courageous woman that rescued her. This including both pranky routines and attempts at vigilantism, Lizzie was the scrappy sort who got into 'confrontations' with her peers and even adults when they tried to pick on her or others, and the chagrin of her 'uncle' was only further heightened by her problematic behaviour. Though woe betide any who tried to pick on her, in part due to their temper, and also the brutal lifestyle that the girl had been forced through before she was liberated. I mean that wasn't something that one just forgot.
Undeterred by Cal's disapproval however, Lizzie continued to attempt to follow in the footsteps of Judy, often practicing acrobatics and using her unusual gummy ability where she could, and was afforded plenty of time to do so because of the long hours her guardian worked. Often left to her own devices, she tended to fall in with the delinquent and punk crowd most easily, and loved to do tricks and flips and all sorts of stuff, becoming a parkour enthusiast as she delved into the 'rebellion' of her teen years. Pilfering and swiping items from merchants as well, though she was a hellraiser the girl had her own code of ethics, and laid out her so called friends before she would allow someone to hurt someone she saw as an innocent.
Never forgetting her inspiration however and eager to stand up to even her supposed friends when she thought they were taking things too far, all the while the woman that Miss London idolised lingered in her mind, and proved a prominent influence in her own life for a variety of reasons. Judy never a stranger and sometimes even visiting other members of the 'circus' when she was in the area and when they needed a place to crash or lie low, these moments of being an odd little family were the ones that the girl treasured the most, and she was always asking when the woman would come next, and aimed to impress her each time she did.
I mean, it was like Christmas seeing that woman light up when she did something creative or clever or just downright goofy, and it felt like there was a new reason to celebrate coming just around the corner every time. Until, inevitably, there wasn't, unfortunately.
One day all that coming crashing down when she got home from school to see Cal looking tense and stricken with grief, he showed her a report of an ambush that had seemed to cause a whole lot of carnage and leave the life of Punchin' Judy in doubt, he feared the worst and seemed to have his fears realized when one of the surviving members seemed to confirm the death of the woman. Apparently her people overwhelmed and the courageous, clownish crime fighter electing to hold back the tide while what remainder of her gang escaped, most through that there seemed no way she could have escaped, and even her surviving allies seeing little chance that she would survive with the injuries she suffered, which certainly put a downer on her home life, or at least would have with an ordinary girl.
Lizzie for her part seeming to refuse to believe her 'Aunt Judy' could have been killed off by anything, whether it was denial or limitless optimism or some combination therein the girl stubbornly refused to accept the fact that the woman she wished to emulate was gone, and still seems to today, in fact. Instead simply seeming to accept the events as something where the woman is resting or taking a break, even though that was four years ago she still nurses a belief that her mentor will return when she's ready, and only steeled herself even further to take up the supposed slack in the meantime.
The teenage years of Miss London perhaps not the most settled and it not taking much more than a year after this that she found a night where she got a visit from the police, while initially suspecting that their call was about some graffiti or shoplifting she found out that her uncle had been stabbed, and was currently in critical condition in hospital. Heartbroken and stricken with worry, she didn't leave the side of the man and in the right place at the right time because of that as a couple of thugs seemed to slip into the hospital the same night to finish the job, Lizzie let loose some of that vicious training she had been given and plenty of her temper too as she intercepted and bested them with her fury and fruit abilities, then set about finding out why they wanted her old man dead.
Taking the one she left conscious up to the tallest cliff she could find in the moonlight and using her powers to bungee jump him off it again and again and again, she found out that uncle had been looking into a disappearance of a girl on behalf of a family, and it had led them to a slavery ring that the men represented. A wacky girl but experienced enough in how the world really worked to easily realize that these bastards needed taking down, Lizzie continued her investigation and through a little more 'persuasion' wrestled the location of the gang's hideout from the punk, then set about ensuring that the crooks would threaten neither her own or any other family again.
Perhaps most likely to run away or contact Johnny Law but Lizzie taking the situation into her own hands, she further exploited her training and the acrobatics she had learned to steal away into their hideout quietly, and then lay waste to the group while most of them were sleeping. Feeling like her idol that night and certainly getting the bug for intervention proper, once uncle was on the mend it wasn't long before Lizzie was craving further 'highs' of this nature, and began to amass a rep as a local force for good, albeit in a somewhat chaotic manner at times. I mean she had good intentions, for sure, but sometimes her methods, recklessness and sheer brutality left a lot to be desired.
Nicknamed 'Babydoll' for her blonde hair and perhaps a measure of irony, she inherited the name from some cult classic piece about a young woman of similar ilk to her own fighting against the so called man, and frankly she enjoyed what she considered to be an emerging celebrity status. In her own way feeling like she was doing Judy proud in what she achieved, even if her antics did seem to leave uncle somewhat exasperated as she risked her skin to fight against criminals and even corrupt lawmen where she could. It felt good to do good in the world, and yet it wasn't long until she began to harbour greater ambition.
Feeling like she could do more than squash the punks who tried to ruin her home and aiming to set out to sea because of that, with her uncle back on his feet proper now she decided to do just that, Lizzie stole away on a cargo ship as a stowaway with what food she could carry. Finding that she was discovered only a couple of days into her journey, however, when she rather unsubtly raided the kitchen when her supplies had run dry, thankfully they seemed far enough that the captain didn't see it as worth it to turn around and go back.
Making a deal with her to earn her food and passage by working on the ship with a promise of dropping her at their next port, she showed a surprising diligence and adapted to the sea life well, with her powers proving an especial boon once she got the hand of zipping and flipping around the rigging. The captain even offering her a chance to continue on and complete the tour but Lizzie intent on seeking out her destiny and so sticking to their original agreement, she stepped ashore in a strange and new land with a song in her heard and a smile on her face, and is keen to find adventure and what the future had in store for her from here on out…
