"Hmph...like I said, yer a tough one."
Von Graves' smile falters, seeming a bit taken aback that Zyna was able to survive another blow at point blank range. True, she was a Devil Fruit user, but even that should have rocked her a bit more...
"I guess that just makes this more interestin'. It's been a bit since I've had to get serious, even if only by a little..." The pirate captain says, his brow darkening as he pulls his cloak back, revealing a sword in a scabbard on his hip, the blade singing a tune as he pulls it slowly from its sheathe.
"It ain't as tough as that sword, that's no question. But, technique plays a part in swingin' such a blade. If I had to guess by that stance...
"Yer a denizen of Amazon Lily, ain't ya? I don't know many marines capable of hefting such a weapon, and ya got the look in ya. I guess that just leaves me to wonder what someone like you is doing with the Marines of all places, but it's not as if they don't have rugrats from all over this world of ours."
The pirate opens the barrel of his gun, loading it with two more bullets before cocking it once more. So, two shots, huh...
"Oh, I had the best teacher around, birdie...I ought to know, it took all I had to leave the marines cause of them. I managed to leave a nice enough scar at the very least, though, skiheheheheheg. Maybe if you survive me, you'll get to meet them yourself. Though consider that more of a warning than an endeavor. But enough chit chat, let's see how much you know!" Von Graves says before leveling his gun once more, this time holding his sword across his chest in the process. His eyes flash as he pulls the trigger, another explosion sending a plume of gunsmoke to wreathe across his frame, though in the split second, Zyna's reflexes could discern the swift movement of a blade cutting through iron...
"FUNERAL PYRE: SPLIT CASKET!"
Two flaming shots soar through the air towards Zyna, flame roaring in their path as one comes from the left and the other from the right. It seems that Von Graves truly was skilled: he managed to slice the bullet in the split second it left his pistol!
