She considered it- they might have desserts here but did cafes normally stock rum? She hadn't the foggiest idea considering she wasn't a drinker of alcohol herself. Maybe they did, after all, they were a pirate nation.
"A full breakfast please, to share, with some camomile tea please? And maybe some water if that wouldn't be too much trouble. Would you have any rum per chance?" She had a casual conversation with the waitress and tried to sus out the situation, they didn't have any straight rum but they did have some chocolate rum balls and it would cover Zenits yearning for desserts as well. "Thank you kindly!" she called as the woman left with her bag of stones and went to get their breakfast.
Cremuex picked up a spoon and buffed it up against her bra, making it shiny enough to see a reflection in it and watched the few guards they had around the cage. Were they used to this happening by now? Men just randomly showing up on the island? Or did they just not want him to be idolized as a trophy. Where were all the guards? Then it struck her- they were probably out of the city, searching the forest.
She shook her head, resting her head on her hand and watching the shy Zenit try and hide as well as he could. She spoke in a quiet voice to match his whisper. "If he has a mushroom how do we know it's not going to be a laughing one, or one that triggers something different? Even if it was an angry mushroom what's to say he won't go for us once he's out? You saw how strong they are- there's nothing to say they won't kill him... and us." She flashed a look of danger to her hip where she had her knife tucked into the side of her panties. "I can take care of the cage, if I can't get rid of the bindings I can always burn the wood with my flame dial, and put it out with the water dial before anyone gets burnt... that just leaves us a distraction and to high tail it out of here."
She paused and thanked the waitress as their food came- with some extra meat and vegetable uncooked in small crate on the side. There was a moment where the two women's eyes met and a silent mutual understanding occurred between two cooks. Meat and vegetables. Proper, fresh food that the crew had gone for weeks without. She began tearing up and looked at the waitress like she was her savior. The waitress promptly responded by backing away at the strange response and staying inside for what she assumed would be the rest of the day or at least until they left. She tried some of the bacon, and bliss overcame her. Non-salted meat.
"Zen... Zen... It's so good."
