OH MY GOD! Look over there! Necklaces! Shiny jewels! Fuzzy stuff that might do something or might just look super fuzzy! OH MY GOD! LOOK OVER THERE! Guns! Swords! Gloves with metal spikes on them! OHMYGODLOOKOVERTHERE! Food from all over the blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anna was acting the part of a child in a candy store, bouncing from one vending stall to the next, holding her attention on one object or another for a few moments and then dashing off to look at something else. If one didn't know better they might suspect this young girl of ADD or just being plain stupid. She couldn't seem to make up her mind about what she wanted to look at. She clearly had no intention of slowing down either. She shouted, she squealed, and on three occasions to date knocked over a table or smaller stand in her rush to go look at something else. She was getting on people's nerves very quickly.
She didn't look like a pirate. She didn't look tough. She looked like a girl. Her thin frame didn't inspire fear like a Pirate's was meant to. Her long flowing hair didn't make people shake in fear like a pirate flag did. She was completely out of place. Not that there were no women pirates around, but they all seemed to carry themselves with a certain... way about them. A kind of tough girl look that kept the sharks at bay and told the world, Pirate women be these. This young one running around though, had none of that. She was just a child. And as she ran across the street and pushed someone's backpack out of the way she finally crossed a line. It might have something do do with the fact that the backpack was still being worn by someone. Or maybe the guy was just really uptight.
"WATCH IT! Stupid kid, you want to di-" He stopped mid-sentence. Might have something to do with the kick crossing his jaw.
See, Anna doesn't deal with shouting well. Not angry shouting anyway. She had just left her home, traveled by merchant ship, and was finally ready to really start her adventure. She had heard of the Pirate's market. She knew that people would be tough, so maybe she felt a bit overeager to pick a fight. Or maybe she just didn't like being interrupted when shopping, though she hadn't bought a damned thing. Either way, as soon as the thug started shouting a smile had crossed Annamaria Lawfell's lips. She had a fight on her hands, and in a fight the first strike always proves to be an advantage.
So she struck first. Specifically she jumped into the air and gave a wide kick at the man's jaw. He looked shocked, and he wasn't done with his little surprises yet. Not if Anna had any say in it, oh and what do you know she did. As she landed she leaned back and tensed her body up, before whipping it forward. Her fist caught the man in the abdomen, pushed him back and caused him to stumble several feat before tumbling over himself and landing on his back. He was weak, Anna could have told anyone that from looking at him. Not fat, but in no real shape. He was a newbie, no stubble on his chin so he probably hadn't really been sailing anywhere yet either. Much like Anna, only he was waaaaaaaaaaay weaker than Anna was. And a loser... also he probably never had a girlfriend either.
Anna gave a rude gesture and stuck her tongue out at her would-be assailant. At this point, a more observant man might notice that the poor fool who'd just gotten the crap kicked out of him by a little girl had a layer of frost over his jaw and against his chest. It was already evaporating, but the skin directly under it had a blue-ish tint. In a matter of seconds these signs would be gone, and most people were too caught up int he fact that some girl had just beaten a "pirate" out of no where. Anna seemed proud, as far as making a debute in the pirate world that wasn't so bad. Maybe someone would giver her a discount now.
.... wait.... if she beat a few more people up maybe they'd give her an EVEN BETTER DISCOUNT! Anna grinned again at the idea and looked around in the crowd for another easy target. "COME ON! ANYONE ELSE THINK THEY CAN TAKE ME? DAMN WUSSIES!" She had the grin of someone that liked to fight for nothing more than a few scrapes and bruises. A few backed up looking nervous, most just ignored her and went about their business, others glared back. Anna hoped someone took her up on the offer before she had to start attacking people at random! This was gonna get her the best discount ever!!!!!!!!
