'Well you guys seem to be having so much fun, I didn't want to intrude with your new flashy weapon display.'
Torin chuckled to himself as he was all geared up to attack at first, though he was more interested in watching his newest invention at work, not to mention Darius's shiny new sword. None the less a smile consumed his face as he looked over to the previously rage-worthy blue-haired woman as she rummaged around the crates for her belongings, his urge to help was right after all, at least for now. To lose prized possessions is a horrible feeling, and the look on her face when she saw those crates.. He knew from the moment she went after them what she was going for, she deserved all the help she could get regardless of her alignment, for the sake of her prized belongings, something Taro would subconsciously understand as he happily hacked and slashed with his new guitar of destruction. Torin was once again getting off track in thought as a bullet whizzed past his head much like before when Taro had given him the heads up to help any time now.
'Time to buy some time.. Ugh.. that sounded horrible..' He luckily mumbled his plan of action and his bad choice of words as he quickly darted around both Taro and Darius, catapulting himself forwards and slightly off the ground as he bent his entire body backwards to arc, and with a fancy introduction complete, and much to the closest marines pain, Torin launched his reinforced helmet into the reloading marines face, the momentum from the spring causing him to tumble, taking a few idle loaders down with him to form a nice pile of confused marines and one unconscious one with a single hard-hatted attack. Torin wasn't one for gloating, most of the time, and so with a dramatic pose he placed himself as the figure head for the hard-hat distraction as Imuka grabbed her gear, and as he predicted the marines came at him in force as the standing leader took steps to make sure he wasn't in that charge.
'Well don't just stand there! Attack! We must re-capture Imuka before her escort returns!' the Marine in command made it his mission to rant and scream where the others were going wrong, as one by one the marines attempted to bring Torin and the Hard-Hat's down by force, as they either suffered a muscle spasm, a sharpened riff or a sword to the stomach as the small resisting force became more on the end of being meat-shields for their leader rather than escorting equipment. A few marines and this once again supposed leader stood as Torin poked a marine who continued to seize on the floor, complete with silly noises as Torin looked up to his last advisories. 'Are we done here? Because if Imuka's glancing and panicked face aren't just her breaking a nail or something, I'll presume she is missing something you still have.' The response was short lived and not what Torin was looking for, as the marines began to high tail in the other direction after hearing a order from their DenDen Comm's. 'Hey! Tha- Oh god dammit I'm too lazy to chase anyone else!' Torin flailed as he took a flask from his belt, downing its contents before looking back to Imuka with a shrug. 'I'm sorry about whatever your looking for, I'm sure it will turn u-'
A large clang echoed over the quiet battleground as Torin's body lurched forward before collecting itself and spinning in curiosity as to what just smacked him up-side the head. He rubbed his helmet as he waved his fingers back and forth over the large dent which resided at the back. He looked forwards to the culprit with a much more serious look of anger. 'I don't know who you are..'
'But now I 'gotta kick your ass.'_____________________________
[Taking a step into the past, after a commotion in Orange town's center and beyond, a lucky marine rookie takes the chance to travel with a marine traitor to Organ island, after hearing the dismay caused by the Hard-Hat's following a marine known as Imuka, an unexpected opportunity arises from a simple afternoon off the bland marine vessels.]
'We require backup immediately. The captain in-charge has been heavily injured, we require medical help as well as more marine's. Retreat to base are the orders from the captain to gather more troops and resources.'
The DenDen Mushi screamed from the rookies pocket as he lay lounged in the luxury of Orange town's Upper-Class district. The antics of pirates seemed to have spread like wild-fire as the posh-folk began to bicker and panic as 'A highly notorious pirate captain and his crew have set a murderous marine free.' The rookie couldn't help but raise an eyebrow despite his solitude, this pirate tale was starting to get annoying not only for its Chinese whisper appeal, but the sheer insult of a pirate having a fun time in the presence of such a vast marine vessel escort of the now supposedly free prisoner. The order was to retreat, his boat was presumably about to set sail without him on it, but much to his delight he didn't even want on it in the first place if it was leaving with its cannons between its legs. Not to mention one of their prized confiscated weapons wouldn't want to go missing in action, presumed the rookie as he batted the large artillery cannon at his side. He didn't blame them for wanting to run while the woman was still unarmed of this chaotic weapon, but they either had to face her.. Or the Commodore.. He had time..
A casual stroll which led to a more obnoxious push and shove came to the rookie who strolled, pockets filled and and accessories shining as civilians attempted to flee the sudden battleground which had consumed the make-shift marine base. His jacket picking up wind from the sheer current of people as such a large uproar was caused by such a small band of mis-fits. Thankfully the walk wasn't a long one, or the rookie would have to start clearing the way himself. Though much to his dismay he was met with someone even more annoying than a pestering civilian trying to ask about the situation while running in the opposite direction.. Running marines..
'Captain!' The squad leader announced as he almost hugged the rookie who simply pushed him firmly back to a position by his men, who lay and stood panting around them. 'It's the Hard-Hat's sir! They let Imuka loose! I think they have th-' He paused, as the sun and mist from his exhausted eyes got glance of the giant weapon which lay hooked to the Captains back. 'Weapon..' The marines stood to attention upon hearing the word captain. The rookie didn't respond, simply grunted as the leader went to move out with his men after a light salute. He didn't get far though, as the leader gasped for air before falling to the ground clutching his stomach, the Captain lowering his hand back into his pocket. 'Tell the guys to hold their ground, I'll be twenty minutes..' The marines left with their stomachs unpunched simply saluted to request, before dragging their squad leader towards the docks, the rookie moving the opposite way, to a rather confident batch of pirates.
They seemed distracted to say the least, with a shadow in the alley cladded in armor he presumed Imuka was quick to recover her things with these guy's aid. The Captain had his back turned, and they seemed ready to move on as Imuka revealed herself, leaving a marine to flop to the floor. Reaching into his coat, it clanked and clanged from the simple act, taking out a single pistol he spun it around on one finger with a quite unnatural speed, and without spearing any time amongst the pirate small talk, the gun broke the quiet of the abandoned district with a bang, the rookie not even halting his pistol in their rapid rotation as the Hard-Hat Captain spun to see who was responsible.
'The top dog's aint gonna be bringing small time ass-hats once they learned your geared up and ready to leave, Imuka.' He spoke in announcing of his presence as he took another gun from his coat, his coat dandling on either side as an untold amount of pistols revealed themselves inside his coat and waist-belt. 'And without this.. I don't think you would want to leave me just yet, eh?' He tapped the cannon on his back with his pistol as he straightened himself out, taking turns at eyeballing the crew as he raised his goggles from his face slowly to get a better look.
'We wouldn't want you blowin' up all of the marines ships now would we?'
