(OOC: The whole thread is a flashback leading to the current moment. After the flashback has been fufilled and the party is over this thread is closed.)
Bravo Bravissimo. The island was full of actors. These actors all worked very hard, and often held parties to celebrate a play doing well(usually a comedy). Tonight was the biggest party of them all, with a huge number of respected musicians attending, providing the soundtrack Scratchmen Apoo was not in his usual attire, instead wearing a tuxedo. The stage was set, and the party was about to begin. The Roar of the Sea looked around, not fearing anything. As the lights dimmed, he began to remember how he had even been roped into the grand affair in the first place.
*flash back*
"Captain, we're approaching Bravo Bravissimo!"
"Cool man, I heard they've got some legit actors going 'round!"
A tall man with long arms was talking to his first mate. He was dressed in chinese garb and was wearing headphones. His brown hair was in a ponytail. The two were talking on board what seemed to be a pirate ship, which was due to dock in five minutes.Scratchmen Apoo was visiting the famous actor's island.
"Yo guys! Prepare to dock!" called Apoo.
*five minute timeskip*
A small crowd was forming around the town square. Many were holding instruments.
"What's that buzz?" asked Apoo. Making his way to the crowd, he pushed his way through until he could see what all the fuss was about. In the middle of the square was a wooden stage, with a table near it. Three people were sitting at the table, looking unimpressed.
On the stage was one musician attempting to play the saxophone. I say attempting because he wasn't very good.
*bagpipe sound plays drearily*
"Dude! Can those 'narly tunes! Not legit man!" the noise hurt the Roar of the Sea.
Who could murder a class instrument so badly?
The crowd were stunned by the outburst, as usually they had the respect to wait before the audition was over. The judges turned their gaze to Apoo expectantly.
"Woah? You want we to play? No way man, not the time for my skills."
Egged on by the crowd(he was manhandled), Scratchmen Apoo was forced onto the crowd by "peer pressure". A little nervous, he began to play.
"Let's goooo! Funky music man!"
