A cloaked man could be seen within a pub, no drink, no company......just alone. He wasn't exactly just there for the fun of it, he was on important business. There was something that he just had to accomplish, a broken family that was up to him to re-fix. Just how cruel could nobles be? How cruel can society be? By the looks of it...society was just hideous. What were the people to the nobles? What were living beings to them? People......or merchandise? Yes Haseo could just picture the broken faces of the parents, as they explained in full detail of the capture of their beloved child. It was up to him to fix things.
The heavy rain outside weakened into a drizzle. Haseo noticed this and slowly sat up, got up, and began to walk outside mysteriously. He could feel the great but gently breeze, gently touching his face. The breeze began to pick up for an instant, letting Haseo's white hair and cloak flow with it. The atmoshphere was incredible. Busy yet soothing. All thee noble families, all busy around him, one stranger standing in the center of all of this. It felt like everything was dark, everything in slow motion, and a single spotlight on him.....yet nobody cared. The drizzle was relaxing, the breeze soothing, the business......realistic.
As he slowly walked towards his destination, Haseo couldn't help but notice the behavior of these nobles, so hgih and mighty that it made him quite sick. He could see slaves around him as well, with neck braces, all doing work or chores for the nobles. If he could he would have just rid them of their sorrow and remove the braces.....but that would've blown his cover.
Morning, the drizzle calmed down and the clouds split to reveal a glorious light. The sun was slowly revealing itself, it was almost just as if it was yawning and stretching, getting ready after the night's downpour. With a gentle smile, Haseo embraced the warmth and continued on......perhaps this would make his day.....if only....justif only.....if this day weren't to be so miserable....he would have loved to just stay and embrace the light. Haseo knew this would not happen, all due to the fact that he made a promise...and he would keep it.
"It must be terrible for those folks, to have lost a child so horribly. This light is great, but in their hearts they must feel nothing but sorrow. Well.....please don't cry anymore......I'll do what I can...." and with this Haseo slid up his mouthmask and advanced forward onwards to the masion, which he would infiltrate and retrieve the child.
"I'll do what I can......"
