Ezra had seen the poster in a bar in North Treegap, and had decided to undertake it. Besisdes, free money is free money. He thought that he would go and inform the man offering the reward.
"54 Canopy Street? These conformists are the most imaginative I've ever seen.' Ezra smirked. He had seen the locals, and his first thought was "breads". Unfortunately, he was informed that Canopy Street was in Mid Treegap, and that it would take him ages to get there.
"BAKA! Who puts an ad ages away from where they live?" he had cried. These people were asking alot from him. Grudgingly he had began his walk, thinking that with his luck, someone would beat him to the punch.
*small timeskip- midday, the first scene was in the morning.*
Ezra was just entering the long walk of a bridge that is Canopy Street, after batting away many ferns, which he found much to his displeasure. He soon forgot about it when he saw how high he was. (he's not the brightest bulb in the box.)
"Wow, are those ships I can see from here?" Ezra thought. He could see the sterns of some huge wooden ships, and also saw some trees on it. He somehow didn't notice the smoke from burning wood rising up in the distance, casting the horizon in an ominous black glow.
He walked on and soon found the mayor's house, when he discovered much to his dismay, that someone was already talking to him about the job.
" Sure you can have the job, just be done by Monday please, If those lumberjacks go one I'm not sure if any of Treegap will be left."
"Thanks."
Ezra burst in at this point and took in the room. He could see the mayor, whose wide sides he could see poking out behind someones back. The person turned to see who had come in and Ezra saw....
