}Personality
Larger than Life
Ak-Yeong has always been the sort that attracts attention. Whether it be his appearance, intimidating aura, or overall boisterous demeanor, Ak-Yeong is not one to quietly fade into the background. He’s loud, rowdy, and full of vigor. He enjoys and thrives in the attention that he attracts. Life is for living, and Ak-Yeong wants to live it up.
Pursuit of Power
Obsessed with becoming stronger to an unhealthy degree, Ak-Yeong pushes his own limits to their extremes. He forces himself to endure grueling conditions and hellish training in order to improve himself. This constant pursuit of power makes him seek out stronger and stronger foes to pit himself against, which can lead to him getting in way over his head.
Carefree Cat
Despite his nigh constant quest for power, Ak-Yeong doesn’t skimp out on life’s pleasures. He’s always down to party or for some good booze. He knows how to work hard and play hard in equal measure. It’s hard to ruffle his feathers as he coasts through life with a relatively unbothered, happy-go-lucky attitude.
Petty Kitty
Ak-Yeong sometimes gives off an air of being dignified and honorable. In truth, Ak-Yeong is a petty sort who never forgets or forgives a perceived slight. His revenge will usually result in some form of physical bullying. He’s not above getting into petty arguments or being goaded into a fight or some other stupid challenge just to prove someone wrong.
Pride of the Lion
Most of all, Ak-Yeong prides himself on his martial prowess. He doesn’t take losing well. His ego is a bit overinflated, and he always exudes some form of bravado. He thinks that fear and vulnerability are weaknesses that someone like him simply cannot afford. It’s as easy to get on his good side by stroking his ego as it is to get on his bad side by insulting his strength or prowess.
Appearance
A hulking beast, Gam Ak-Yeong stands at a staggering 8’3” (252cm). He is a tiger Mink, built with a triangular, muscular figure. His fur is an orange-yellow color with striking black stripes as is characteristic of tigers. Patches of white fur highlight his features. He usually wears a gi of some sort of a tunic made of hides that resembles a caveman’s outfit.

Thunder God Tiger
Focus: Martial Arts
Description:
A self-proclaimed master of martial arts, Ak-Yeong has actually fallen from his peak after his defeat. His injuries have crippled him and left him a shell of what he once was. Despite that, he’s still alive and still attempting to reach higher and higher heights of martial prowess in order to become the world’s strongest. As such, his fighting style is mostly about martial arts, punches and kicks, and taking inspiration from the techniques of his opponents to incorporate into his own style or counteract their style. He’s highly adaptive, but focuses on being able to withstand the most damage possible so he can fight for as long as possible.

Toughness
Ak-Yeong has honed his body into a weapon, and a weapon needs to be durable. Underneath his coarse fur, his body is as hard as a rock. He’s incredibly pain tolerant and is just generally resilient. He is capable of taking blows that would maim or cripple others. Ak-Yeong tends to think that this resilience makes him invincible, but he is still completely capable of taking enough damage to become incapacitated.
Golden Body
Tier ★
Toughness Buff
Using Electro to make his fur completely rigid and stand on end, Ak-Yeong makes himself even more difficult to damage. This dense, rigid fur provides him additional protection, allowing Ak-Yeong to take even more punishment before he goes down. Tiger’s Roar
Tier ★
Soundwave Generation

By clapping, roaring, or some other noisy action, Ak-Yeong can generate a soundwave that spreads out to all within earshot. This soundwave is capable of bursting eardrums, deafening, or even knocking out those who hear it. It is extremely painful, and Ak-Yeong can direct the sound to only affect a particular area in earshot.
Tiger Claw
Tier ★
Sharpness
Born with claws, Ak-Yeong never skips a day of sharpening and tending to them. He prides himself on the sharpness of his retractable claws. These claws are so sharp that they can slice through most things, but especially people.
Earthquake
Tier ★
Shockwave Generation
Through developing his martial arts and taking inspiration from the Yonko that defeated him, Ak-Yeong has gained the ability to imbue his strikes with shockwaves. Background
}Gam Ak-Yeong was born to the Minks of Zou. He doesn’t recall much of his early childhood aside from certain foods and smells. What he does remember is his mother and father being killed in front of his eyes as slavers came to take him away. A long journey in a ship’s damp cargo hold took him far from his home in the New World to unknown waters. At the first opportunity, he escaped from his captors, killing a few in the process, and leaping into the sea.
He tried swimming for a long time before exhaustion finally caught up to him and he passed out. Fortunately for Ak-Yeong, this was not to be his end. The master of a local dojo fished him out of the water and nursed the young Mink back to health. This master ended up being quite shocked that Ak-Yeong was not an ordinary tiger, but one that could walk and talk just like a person. While he was surprised for a moment, he still accepted Ak-Yeong and offered to teach the boy martial arts.
Ak-Yeong excelled, partially due to natural physical prowess as a Mink, but mostly due to his extreme talent for martial arts. He became his master’s number one disciple, but not his successor. That honor went to the master’s human son. Ak-Yeong always felt slighted by this, and the two often quarreled like siblings, getting into fights that the master would have to inevitably break up. Every match where they competed against each other always ended in a draw much to Ak-Yeong’s frustration. He longed for the day that he’d finally settle things and end their rivalry with his decisive victory.
Unfortunately for Ak-Yeong, that day would never come. After their most recent draw, Ak-Yeong chose to isolate himself in the mountains near their dojo in order to train himself for their next match. While he was away, their dojo was attacked with everyone, even the master, killed by pirates. Ak-Yeong returned to a dojo in ruins and his rival and chosen brother slain. Rather than mourn, Ak-Yeong was furious and took to heart the lesson before him. Those with power reigned supreme. If you weren’t strong, you could die at any moment at the hand of the strong.
Ak-Yeong resolved then and there that he would be one of the strong. Setting out on a journey, Ak-Yeong challenged various strong opponents to make himself stronger, knowing that defeat could mean death, but he’d rather be dead than weak. Ak-Yeong acquired several masters during his travels, some willing, some not, but all of his opponents taught him something new. It got to a point where Ak-Yeong became undefeated for a time. He believed himself to have finally achieved ultimate power. At least, until he clashed with someone who would become his new rival.
Their fights, as with his childhood rival’s, always ended in draws, giving Ak-Yeong the same exhilaration he felt back then. In order to surpass his new rival, he challenged stronger and stronger foes, but there came a day when he picked a battle that he could not win. That opponent was one of the four great Emperors of the Sea at the time. Ak-Yeong was soundly beaten. So badly, in fact, that it left him with lingering injuries that required him to retreat from the New World back to the Blue that he called home. He hated sitting idly while he recovered. It fueled the raging inferno in him. His dream was to become the strongest creature in the world, and he could achieve that end.
