Personnel File
}Personality
Silent Princess
Due to a combination of factors, Lily is generally very quiet. She doesn’t speak or emote much. Even when she does emote, it’s very subdued. She’s very good at making herself small so as to go unnoticed, but she’s equally skilled at carrying herself with a nobility and grace that projects a certain sort of inexplicable charm, especially when she sings. Despite how quiet and reserved she is, Lily’s eyes always seem to burn with hope for the future.
Stargazer Lily
One of Lily’s most prominent virtues is her patience. She has an unusual tolerance for the nonsense of others to the point where others might have snapped long ago. This pairs well with her exceptional intuition and intelligence, allowing Lily to form long-term plans with the patience to execute them reliably. She exudes an aura of calm most times, soothing those around her.
Tiger Lily
While generally very patient, quiet, and fairly demure, Lily possesses a spontaneous streak. Sometimes in life, she just feels the need to take action rather than simply observe and quietly plan. She’ll never actively seriously endanger her friends and allies, but there are some things that she just cannot stand. She’s also prone to wandering and darting to and from whatever piques her curiosity.
Fire Lily
Lily is not someone to do things in half measures. She possesses a quietly simmering fire within her and the resolve forged from it to see her passion through. She does have a bit of a temper once her patience has waned. Most of her passion, however, comes out whenever she sings or fights, an outlet to the emotion that she seldom otherwise lets out. Despite never really showing it outwardly, Lily feels very strongly, her emotions roiling like a storm underneath her calm exterior.
Heartstrings Lily
Lily is a soft and sweet sort who cares deeply for those around her. She’ll go out of her way to do nice things for people she likes, even if they don’t necessarily want her to. She has a tendency to put others before herself, especially when they’re her friends. She’s very respectful and is a bit of a stickler for manners - at least where they matter. She’s very aware of the power of words, and since she rarely speaks, she tries to convey as much as possible in as few words as possible.
Appearance
A thin, lithe woman of relatively short stature, Lily does not have much of a presence. She makes herself appear even smaller than she is with her demeanor and how she carries herself most of the time. She has long, straight, blue hair that she sometimes ties up in braids or buns. She often wears a lily in her hair, much like her namesake. Her deep blue eyes shimmer like jewels in the light. Her skin is pale and fair. She has no particular preference of clothes, but she does like the color black, which contrasts with her fair skin. Her clothes often have some sort of gold trim.

Combat Data
}Fighting Styles
Despite her frail appearance, Lily’s actually quite a strong and scrappy fighter. Her physical prowess can take opponents by surprise and makes her a force to be reckoned with in that alone. Her Devil Fruit abilities allow her to take control of a battlefield both in the real world and within Uta World. Her singing can charm animals and bolster allies as well, which aids her in battle.

Background
}Born at the very top of the heights of this world on a little sky island known by its inhabitants as Fairy Ring, Lily wanted for nothing in her early childhood. Her parents doted on her, allowing her to wander and explore the island to her heart’s content, so long as she did not venture into the flooded salt flats surrounding the forest that comprised their home. These flooded salt flats contained the water from their dead and were considered absolutely sacred burial sites. The forest contained their village and an abundance of giant flowers and vegetation that made the sky islanders seem miniature by comparison.
Lily climbed staggeringly massive trees, soared around with giant leaves, parachuted with huge flowers. She was extraordinarily active, and led around a small group of friends on her adventures on the island, getting into scrapes with other kids from time to time. These happy go lucky days unfortunately came to a crashing halt when, during one of her usual adventures with her friends, disaster struck. They ran into a vicious sky tiger that killed Lily’s friends and left Lily with deep claw marks on her back and ripped the wings off her back. Her screams summoned a legion of Sky Kings, known to inhabit the highest reaches of the world and even outer space, who killed the sky tiger and loomed over the scene.
Lily was discovered by her mother who tried her best to comfort her as she cried, but knew things would never be the same for Lily. In the aftermath, Lily was treated differently by those in Fairy Ring. The adults saw her as some sort of God or chosen one, and thus demanded that she be sent to the sacred land, Neverland. Neverland was a sky island that resided above even Fairy Ring and was said to be a pathway up to Fairy Vearth. It was inhabited by Sky Kings and other formidable sky beasts and the legend went that their ancestors first descended from Fairy Vearth via Neverland. As such, it was always treated as sacred ground, and travel there was restricted.
After Lily recovered from her injuries, she was brought there, her parents being allowed one last tearful goodbye as they left her completely alone on Neverland. Lily spent many lonely years on Neverland, learning how to fend for herself, befriend the beasts that inhabited the sacred land, and how to defend herself if push came to shove. She took to singing when the loneliness became too unbearable, and her singing attracted a variety of wildlife, including Sky Kings. There came a day when her loneliness grew to be too much for her to handle, and she decided that she would rather die trying to leave Neverland than stay even a moment longer.
Leaping off the side of Neverland, Lily sang and called one of her sky animal friends down to catch her. She rode them down past Fairy Ring where she whispered a final farewell to her parents under her breath before plunging down below the clouds. When Lily awoke, she’d landed on a shore that she didn’t quite recognize with a strange blue sea stretching out before her. Lily spent some time exploring the island that she’d landed on, befriending the local wildlife, and building a shelter.
When Lily finally stumbled upon what appeared to be a settlement, she was overjoyed and ran toward it, throwing caution to the wind. What she found was a nomadic kingdom searching for a land to call their home. They welcomed Lily with a warmth that she was unaccustomed to, and even went so far as to prepare a feast for her. She stayed with a small family that agreed to host her. She grew close to the residents of the kingdom, but did not share much about her past or her abilities for fear of a repeat of what happened in Fairy Ring.
These years of happiness ended when a trade deal went horribly wrong. The Celestial Dragons intervened, a pair of them, traveling together. One took a shine to Lily, more specifically, her voice, and decided that her voice would belong to him. It all happened so quickly that Lily scarcely could believe how quickly the happiness that she’d built up had crumbled.
It didn’t take long for the severity of the situation to sink in. Lily’s new owner, Saint Pollo had a love for the arts and collected slaves with various artistic talents. He forbade Lily from speaking or even making so much as a noise without his permission - her voice belonged to him and him alone - after all. And, Lily saw firsthand what disobedience or incompetence resulted in. Death. Lily sank quietly back into an even deeper loneliness despite being surrounded by others. She learned sign language in order to communicate, but she seldom used it unless absolutely necessary.
Despite the grim circumstances, Lily simply bided her time and waited. She never took unnecessary or unreasonable risks. She waited and watched. She memorized Saint Pollo’s schedule by heart. She memorized the schedules and movements of the other slaves. Eventually, her opportunity came. Saint Pollo brought her to a floating theater to show her off and have her perform. She had a rare moment where she was left alone as Saint Pollo went off to his seat. Lily absconded backstage, looking for something - anything to help her predicament. She eventually uncovered an item that was to be auctioned off after her performance and the opera that would follow. A Devil Fruit, the Uta Uta no Mi.
Lily ate it entirely and immediately returned to her dressing room, just in time for the stagehands to guide her to the stage. She sang, dragging the whole audience into her Uta World unbeknownst to them. In the real world, everyone had fallen asleep. She controlled Saint Pollo’s body, unlocked her explosive collar, and fled whilst keeping everyone unaware by continuing her performance in Uta World at the same time.
Escaping on a small boat, Lily did her utmost to keep the illusion up in Uta World for as long as possible before her stamina was exhausted, and she fell asleep. As soon as she slept, those who were trapped in Uta World were freed, including Saint Pollo, but Lily was far away. When she woke, a heavy dread fell on her shoulders. If she were ever caught, she would die, or worse, be forced back into Saint Pollo’s servitude. What should she do now? What could she do now? What did she want now that she had her freedom? Was it really even freedom if she had to hide away and cower from the World Government and Celestial Dragons? She was tired of hiding and tired of being alone.
If she was going to live the life she wanted - if she was going to be happy - she would have to be prepared to fight. Lily decided there and then that she’d live the life that would make her happiest and would die fighting for that life rather than be forced into isolation or silence. Still, that didn’t mean she wouldn’t be careful. With the advent of tone dials and Soul King Brook, Lily found a medium to express herself. She started publishing her own songs, which swiftly grew in popularity. An anonymous idol who only communicated through tone dial albums known as Aine. Her songs made people happy, which in turn, spurred her desire to become someone who could make others happy and give them hope, to be a shining light in everyone’s lives. The ultimate idol.
