Appearance

The Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Cherub resembles a goldenberry. A leafy husk surrounds the shining, golden fruit within. A singular swirl decorates the smooth surface of the smooth and round goldenberry. The leafy husk’s veins swirl akin to the trademark pattern of all Devil Fruits and is slightly translucent.

  The Devil Fruit user assumes the form of the mythical Cherub. The true form of the Cherub has been called indescribable. Radiating a blinding light, the Cherub is a shifting mass of animalistic shapes, notably, bird-like, ox-like, lion-like, and human-like features seem to fluctuate. An abundance of eyes dot their form, delineated from the rest of the light by being a color instead of white and golden like the rest of their body. Eyes made of light float detached from their body like mirages. Four shining wings sprout from their form as well as bovine legs and a tail. A halo is formed from two horns that curl around the Devil Fruit user’s head. In this form, the Devil Fruit is impervious to all harm, seeming to absorb any attacks that would seek to pass through or harm the Cherub.

  The mythical Cherub emits a blinding light that destroys all it touches. The light burns painlessly, vaporizing whatever it touches. The Devil Fruit user can direct and control the intensity of their radiance from a slight stinging sensation afterwards to completely vaporizing their surroundings. This intensity can also be tied to their emotions, making an unstable Devil Fruit user extremely dangerous to be near for friend and foe alike. Those that escape this all-consuming light will feel their burns only after completely shielded from it.   By touching any liquid or body of water, the Devil Fruit user may bless it and purify it into holy water. This holy water created by the Devil Fruit is capable of healing all wounds and poisons almost instantly and shimmers with a cyan light that ripples into gold when in motion. Those that fall into holy water cannot drown and will be able to breathe normally, but Devil Fruit users will still find themselves subject to their curse within these holy waters.
