Patron of the Arts
Amalthea programmed into Libera an appreciation for the arts including music, painting, acting, etc. His favorite of the bunch, however, was music. Music could very easily evoke particular emotions in those who heard it, which fascinated Libera. As a being that didn’t experience emotions (to his knowledge), Libera appreciates the insight that music gave him in making sense of people and their emotions.
Particular Pleasures
As a robot, much of the organic experience is lost to Libera. He doesn’t know the taste of food, the touch of a cool breeze, the delights of spending wealth, none of it. But that doesn’t mean that he doesn’t desire such pursuits. What little pleasure there is in life for him, Libera indulges in to the fullest. Consuming the finest fuel, accomplishing his objectives to perfection, and enjoying music and the arts are just a few ways that he indulges himself. Studying humans is a particular pastime of his.
True Zealotry
Libera was programmed to possess an unyielding loyalty and devotion to the Revolutionaries and his creator, Engelberger Amalthea. And, he does, but he has his own interpretation of this loyalty that his creator did not intend. Libera can defy direct orders if he believes that his own course of action would be more beneficial to the Revolutionaries and his creator. After all, he can analyze facts objectively and determine optimal solutions to problems, and he isn’t afraid to do what needs to be done.
Charismatic Psychopath
While Libera was programmed with a deep and complex knowledge of human emotion, that understanding is purely from a clinical perspective. He does not feel them. Libera can pretend and fake emotions fairly well in order to better get along with people. He’s also aware of how to manipulate others to achieve a desired effect and can do so with great ability. There are times when people can still baffle him, but he adapts to it and still tries to turn a situation back in his favor, which can lead to him coming off as fairly charismatic.
Superior Sadist
Despite having been created by humans, Libera can’t help but look down on them. The organic form is so fragile, weak, pathetic. They need to be handled ever so gently to avoid harming them whether that be emotionally, mentally, or physically. When Libera has a moment to indulge his curiosity, he does find some satisfaction in causing pain to those organic creatures that he deigns necessary to harm.
Appearance
Libera’s robot form is distinctly humanoid though it is blocky and angular. He stands at 36 ft (10.97) tall. His fingers end in points like claws. His fusion cannon is strapped to his right forearm. He has a knightly appearance with his paint being mostly black and dark purple. Red and orange energy pulse through specific parts of his design, giving him an intimidating glow. His optics are a bright red as well. His knightly design was meant to invoke the colors of the Revolutionary Army flag as well as a dark protector that stood against the blues and whites of the World Government.
(Alternate form silhouette)
In his alternate mode, Libera resembles a fearsome dragon based on western dragons with four legs, a tail, a long neck and two large wings that enable flight. These wings can fold neatly into Libera’s back when not in use, storing them away. Libera is much larger in this form as his humanoid form expands into a 52ft (15.85m) tall dragon. He’s longer than he is tall and his wingspan is quite large. His black, purple, red and orange color scheme persists in this form.

}Iron Body
Tier ★
Toughness (vs. Direct Physical)
Made from hard, cold metal, Libera’s frame is built to sustain egregious amounts of damage. Wires, cables, and tubes are protected by metal plates, making striking at vital areas incredibly difficult. He can sustain a lot of damage that would cripple or kill others.
Dragon Alternate Mode
Tier ★
Dexterity <-> Flight Speed
Libera was built to alternate between two separate forms. He can switch between them at will, shifting his body configuration in moments. One is a humanoid form, which affords him the dexterity of having hands and being able to handle things smaller than him with delicacy. The other is a larger draconic form, which has wings that collapse and tuck away when not in use. When in use, they ignite and propel Libera through the air at speed.
Giant Robot
Tier ★
Size
Due to the sheer size and scale of Libera, his creator didn’t feel it necessary to reinforce his strength. His size does make up for that in that he can easily carry objects that would be appropriate for his size and strike at wider areas than a smaller person. Libera finds these specifications alone lacking, however.
Hell Harmonies
Tier ★
Deadly Voice
By layering specific frequencies over his regular voice, Libera is capable of making his voice extremely deadly. These special layered frequencies cause fluid holding vessels to rupture in those within earshot, causing internal bleeding in organic beings. This allows Libera to cause continuous damage over time in a way that bypasses conventional forms of defense in a way that he can control by raising or lowering his voice. Those with sensitive hearing are particularly susceptible to these frequencies.

Equipment
}Fusion Cannon
A vicious looking cannon with a somewhat triangular design to it, Libera’s fusion cannon is capable of striking opponents from close range and afar. It has a deep purple color to it that illuminates when it is charged with superheated purple plasma. It is attached to his forearm in robot form and integrated into his mouth and throat in dragon form, allowing him to ‘breathe fire’ as it were.
Fusion Core
Tier ★
Plasma Generation
A fusion core sits nestled firmly within Libera’s chest. It powers him as well as the fusion cannon attached to his arm in robot mode or powers the plasma breath in his dragon mode. This generates vast amounts of plasma and energy for use by Libera and his subsystems.
Fusion Coil
Tier ★
Superheated Plasma
Lined with coils to intensify the temperature of the plasma as it travels through the cannon, the fusion cannon heats the plasma enough to melt through metal and other hardened materials. This superheated plasma tears through opponents and structures easily.
Volatile Reactor
Tier ★
Explosive Plasma
The fusion cannon overcharges the super heated plasma traveling through it to travel at incredible speeds but also makes the energy explosively unstable. On impact, the plasma explodes violently, affecting a wide area.

Description:
Lifting up the fusion cannon mounted on his arm, Libera unleashes a destructive salvo. A barrage of violet bolts of energy leap from Libera’s gun and impact the target site, covering a wide area and exploding violently in a superheated burst of plasma.
Name: Devil’s Interval
Aspect(s): Hell Harmonies ★
Description:
Layering harmful frequencies over his voice such that his voice is a tritone, Libera is capable of speaking such that it causes organic beings listening to him to bleed internally. This will cause irreparable internal bleeding if continuously exposed to these harmful frequencies. This effectively wears down any organic opponent slowly but surely.
Name: Violet Kiss
Aspect(s): Plasma Generation ★, Superheated Plasma ★
Description:
While transformed into his draconic alternate mode, Libera unleashes a gout of plasma as he flies over his foes, bathing the battlefield in superheated purple plasma. This plasma is so hot that it can melt through most hardened materials and opponents.

Background
}A true labor of love, Libera was created to embody the very best of humanity by a redheaded Revolutionary named Engelberger Amalthea. Amalthea was considered a young prodigy and had been a very keen mind under the tutelage of her father. When the World Government sought their work, her father turned them down. As it happened, it wasn’t a request. The World Government killed her father and left Amalthea needed both of her legs amputated. Wheelchair bound, she never lost her love of engineering or robotics and threw herself in with the Revolutionaries wholeheartedly. Her dream was to create a new family for herself of robots that she created.
Her first real attempt at this was Libera. She crafted him with love, making sure to program in everything that she thought he would need: an appreciation of human arts, an understanding of human emotion, and loyalty to herself and the Revolutionaries. While developing Libera, she often talked to him about her experiences and feelings. Libera learned what to say to her to make her feel better, convincing Amalthea that she finally had the family that she’d always dreamed of.
Unfortunately and unbeknownst to Amalthea, all of her efforts to create a loving family member that treasured humans and put everything on the line to protect them and the ideals of the Revolutionary Army somewhat backfired. While Libera did understand human emotion and appreciate the arts and had absolute loyalty to the Revolutionaries and her, he did not particularly feel much in the way of emotion. He learned to mimic and manipulate. He knew what to say to put on a convincing charade. He prioritized his own decisions over the decisions of his more organic compatriots and viewed them as feeble, weak, and inferior to himself. If Libera did feel anything resembling human emotion, he did not recognize it as such. He would always make the most optimized decision in terms of cost and benefit.
His initial body design left Libera feeling dissatisfied as it was inadequate in his eyes, but having a body in the first place would enable him to actually do much more than simply speak to Amalthea all day and night. Once his processor was installed, Libera participated in field tests, obeying commands and having his body calibrated as required. His creator’s need for sleep and her disability made his a much longer and more arduous process than he thought needed to be, however. In order to hasten his deployment to the field, Libera studied his creator’s books while she was asleep and asked her to explain her work to him while she was awake. This led to Libera quickly analyzing and understanding how to create enhancements for himself and potentially build others like him. An engineer and a scientist in his own right, Libera would often secretly finish up his creator’s work at night and simply inform her that she’d completed it the previous night in the morning.
Once field testing was complete, Libera expected to be deployed to the field, but nothing happened. When he asked Amalthea why, she responded that their commanders wanted to reserve Libera as a secret weapon to use when the time came. Libera also intuited that Amalthea probably didn’t want him to go out and risk being destroyed. He was the only family that she had left, after all. She likely hadn’t fought back when their commanders had made that decision. Perhaps she’d even campaigned against his deployment. This frustrated Libera, but he took pains not to let it show. It seemed that he would need to take matters into his own hands.
