Ability

The consumption of this Devil Fruit mutates the user's physiology, crossing it with a wild chicken's in fascinating ways. Geiger grew an entire rooster from his lower body.

The rooster is complete in, all of its own physiology, as a mature male of human size. They have a bright red comb and black feathers along their head and neck. Below the neck their feathers become a gradient of warm colors, starting bright red, then turning orangish and yellow up to the tail. The tail plumage is an iridescent dark green and is about as long as the rooster's body itself. Geiger 'sits' on the rooster's back.

The Red Junglefowl SMILE theoretically presents all the proper strengths of a Zoan, in the most complete way. The rooster is powerful and fast with a strong beak and stronger claws and spurs. It has a flexible and deceptively lengthy neck that can rotate 180 degrees and is capable of flight but is not as strong a flier as birds specialized for such behavior. Unique to this SMILE, the rooster created from it is completely sentient. It can act independently of Geiger to use all of its abilities and is even defter with them than he is. This sounds like a strength but it presents more cons than pros, as Geiger is completely at the yet unnamed rooster's whims. They decide where to go, how long to spend there, and what to do while the pair are there. If startled, the rooster will flee and take Geiger with it.

Hello avidelmv2! So, flight - if it is something the animal can do naturally, is not an aspect!

Rather, a SMILE aspect would cover the chimeric transformation. Something like "Red Junglefowl Chimera". It would be Tier 1 and concedes a bonus aspect like Zoans, but only applied to the animal portion of your body. For instance, the red junglefowl part of the body may be able to fly particularly fast, and so I'd give it a "Flight Speed" thing.

Okay, sorry for the delay here, avidelmv2. So, due to the overhaul and change in how we're handling fruits, we're gonna need to tweak this.

Basically, you're writing the application from which ALL other Red Junglefowl SMILEs will come from. When someone else applies for a red junglefowl SMILE, they'll be linking to this application. As such, I really need this to be as generic as possible. I'll give you an example in a second.

As for what you've written here, this will go into your Character Application. Character applications will contain specifics on how forms manifest for particular users of the Fruit.

This is a great example of how to write a Devil Fruit generically:

Aluco transforms into a hybrid state, merging her human form with an owl’s physiology to create an optimal fighting state between the two, which also serves to heighten her speed. Standing at the same height as her usual human form, “Half Plume” adorns Aluco’s body in brown and grey feathers and transforms her extremities into dark grey scaled appendages tipped with sharp talons. The plumage around her upper arms fans outwards like flight feathers, but does not enable flight, leaving her arms bare from the elbow down. Her legs retain a layer of feathers to just beyond the knees, while her face remains mostly human aside from the noticeable framing of small feathers.

Anyway, I hope that makes sense. Please adjust your application to follow this simplicity. Remove all mentions of Geiger from the Application, etc, and move it into your character application. Reply when you're all done!
