Kebu Kebu no Mi
English Name:– Cable Cable Fruit
Classification:– Paramecia
Core Concept:– Cables
Base X-Poinz Cost:– 400
Permission:– Open
Appearance
A large strawberry-shaped fruit with a warped appearance which seems to be bound in a thick yellow cord with devil fruit swirls on it, with red-colored meat. This appearance is misleading, as it is all one fruit, simply malformed in a deceitful manner. The flavor is vile and sour, as though expressly designed to induce vomiting in cats.
Ability
The eater of this fruit becomes a ‘Cable Human’ capable of producing cables from their body that can connect two points which transfer energy.
Aspects
Cablework
Cable Production (★)
The user can create metal cables with varying thickness and insulation from their body, and attach them to surfaces. The cables themselves are useful tools by design, capable of bludgeoning, whipping, and ensnaring foes, intercepting attacks, and providing mobility via cable swinging and footholds. These cables are innately capable of conducting and redirecting electrical currents between their end points.
Cableweaver
Cable Manipulation (★)
With a bit of practice, the user of this fruit can manipulate the cables they produce, allowing them to shape and move their cables in a variety of forms beyond simple geometry.
Current Transfer
Stamina to Electricity Conversion (★)
Cables are a tool used not only for connecting things, but transferring things. In particular, the cables are innately able to transfer energy in the form of electrical currents, shocking who or whatever is on the other end of the cable. This electricity draws on the stamina or energy of whatever is on the opposite end of the cable.
Conduction
Electricity to Stamina Conversion (★)
The eater of this fruit gains the ability to resist and store electrical energy without dispersing or neutralizing it. Electricity absorbed this way can restore the user's Stamina reserves, prolonging their ability to fight.
Weaknesses
>Kairōseki (“Sea-Prism Stone”) saps the physical strength of the Ability User and prevents them from consciously controlling or activating their power.
>Submersion in water immobilizes the Ability User and causes them to sink, disabling conscious power control.
>Slicing through the cables will cut-off and immediately end any effects.
