Han Han no Mi
English Name:– Sail Sail Fruit
Classification:– Paramecia
Core Concept:– Sailing
Base X-Poinz Cost:– 200
Permission:– Open
Appearance
The Han Han no Mi takes the form of a clementine with a brown wood-like peel with plank-like segmentations and devil fruit swirls. It has a large latticework stem with a leaf which resembles a simple sail. The flesh is red and segments neatly, though rather than pulp, it appears to be the same material as the membrane folded neatly like laundry. Tastes like rotting wood and scurvy sores.
Ability
The one who eats this fruit becomes a ‘Sail Human’ capable of expanding and unfurling their body into cloth wind sails, and generating wind to propel themselves!
Aspects
Sail Body
Sail Transformation (★)
The fruit user gains the ability to enlarge and transform parts of their body to spread into large sheets of sail-like material, creating webbing and wings for personal mobility purposes. These sheets are capable of being used for defense and offense, and share any other properties of the user's own body for all intents and purposes. They function identically to sails, so they can be used to catch the wind to gain propulsion.
Windwalker
Wind Catching (★)
The user of this fruit can ‘capture’ the wind in their sails and manipulate the caught wind, allowing them to sail wherever they so choose. By catching and manipulating the wind this way, they can throw the wind in a direction of their choosing and ride the current. Used carefully and with big enough sails, this can grant the user flight as the wind carries them along.
Weaknesses
>Kairōseki (“Sea-Prism Stone”) saps the physical strength of the Ability User and prevents them from consciously controlling or activating their power.
>Submersion in water immobilizes the Ability User and causes them to sink, disabling conscious power control.
>Having their sail-body unfurled during too-powerful a windstorm can result in the user being flung helplessly in the wind. A similar but opposite issue presents itself if there is no wind whatsoever.
