Crews & Organizations
Adventures in the world of One Piece just aren’t complete without a loyal group of like minded individuals to share them with, whether you’re a civilian, wanted criminal, or member of the World Government’s expansive forces. Crews and organizations are a staple in the series, so here’s how they work on Bon Voyage.
Crews consist of at least two members (players) and an equal number of characters, but can include more players and characters as they expand! All a crew needs to form is a designated leader, one other member, and a name, plus a few extra details to flesh them out!Affiliation & Alliances
A crew’s affiliation marks whether or not it belongs to a specific greater power. The vast majority of pirate crews will be independent, for example, as will civilian groups. However, Marine divisions and Cipher Pol units will belong to their respective forces—the 153rd Branch would be affiliated with the Marines—and so on. All crews within a particular faction are considered to be allies, but sometimes specific groups must make alliances for the sake of a greater goal, such as how Luffy and Law formed an alliance with the goal of taking down Kaidō.Flag or Logo
What crew is complete without a symbol upon their sails? Pirate crews are the most obvious contender here, their sails emblazoned with their own “Jolly Roger”, but other groups will often fly one or more flags to declare their allegiance. Marines always fly the iconic seagull insignia. If you have some artistic talent, make a flag and give the image! You can also just describe the flag in words!Ideology
What’s the crew’s purpose? What does it strive to accomplish? Sometimes the ideologies of a crew or organization can be extremely simple, while in other cases they might have much deeper goals, whether noble or criminal. This even applies to particular divisions of the World Navy, whose individual branches may focus on particular goals and needs within the greater purview of the Marines.Crew X-Poinz
When a crew is formed, its members start with a pool of 400 Crew X-Poinz that is dedicated to purchasing resources for the crew. These X-Poinz can be used to purchase Ships for transport, establish Bases on particular islands or in certain seas, recruit Non-Player Characters to fill out the crew’s roster, or obtain a variety of other resources for the crew’s general use. As crew members complete more threads and earn X-Poinz of their own, the crew itself also gains X-Poinz at a rate of 10 per post. And, just like player characters, crews also generate an Aspect Voucher (specifically for the crew) at every interval of 1,000 X-Poinz.New Crew Template[div align="center"]Crew Name Here[/div]
