Personality
Aragaki's stoic, stone faced demeanor belies his gentle, kind, and cpassionate heart. His emotions are carefully contained and metered both from his training and from a simple fear of losing control. Aragaki enjoys simple pleasures and quiet, reflective activities like cooking and fishing.
Appearance
Aragaki is monumental, the oarfish traits of his blood resulting in a remarkably elongated and towering humanoid body. His imposing, muscular build is compounded with the many wicked scars scribed across his silvery blue skin, especially the gash just below his left eye. Long, ribbon-like red dorsal fins adorn Aragaki's long, wild mane of dark hair. Often shaded by his long locks is Aragaki's chiseled, heavy browed face.
He often wears the same tattered robes and kimonos he has worn for a long while, most often keeping his right arm free for ease of movement. With his size, finding new clothes can be a trial, and Aragaki is very sentimental about the time he has put into his worn out wardrobe.
Fighting Style
Eye of the Storm
Aragaki is in his element when in the middle of massive brawls; with his large size combined with Fishman karate he can fight swathes of enemies even should he be surrounded. His personal Arashi Ken style turns any fight into a battle against the elements.
Aspects
Fishman Karate - Arashi Ken (*)
Aragaki developed a personal style of Fishman karate that focuses the power of its practitioner's emotions to manipulate water to create a variety of weather related effects.
Fishman Strength (*)
Aragaki bears not only the merits of an especially large, muscular body but the inherent strength of the Fishman race.
Electricity Generation (*)
Using the Arashi Ken style of Fishman karate, Aragaki is able to channel his emotions and manipulate the polarity of water clouds to induce the production of lightning.
Ice Generation (*)
Aragaki can form ice by manipulating water with his Fishman karate and rapidly moving it to quickly cool and freeze it.
Techniquess
Murakumo
(Fishman Karate - Arashi Ken)
Condenses water vapor into thick clouds that can become dense enough to block attacks or hold a person's weight.
Gekiretsu Jinrai
(Fishman Karate - Arashi Ken, Electricity Generation)
Creates an electrified cloud around Aragaki that builds up tension before bursting all around him.
Kumon Sengeki
(Fishman Karate - Arashi Ken)
Creates a raincloud that pummels targets with a flurry of droplets
Kishin no Kaminari
(Fishman Karate - Arashi Ken, Electricity Generation)
Creates and launches a large electrified storm cloud.
Raikouken
(Fishman Karate - Arashi Ken, Electricity Generation) Forms a concentrated storm cloud that Aragaki channels into one arm before unleashing a bolt of lightning at a target.
Zetsubou Rasengeki
(Fishman Karate - Arashi Ken)
Draws in and condenses water vapor in a spiral motion before releasing it in a concentrated, twisting cloud. The formation of the cloud may draw in objects or people caught in the area.
Gojou Hyouhou
(Fishman Karate - Arashi Ken, Ice Generation)
Forms a cloud that quickly twirls around Aragaki's arm, cooling the water vapor before creating a large ball of ice at his fist to be launched forward.
Background
Aragaki was once simply a brash and impatient wayward student of the Fishman karate dojo who had stopped his training due to feeling he could get away with the relatively small amount of skill he had developed. At the very least, it proved useful for the purposes he would end up using them for. Aragaki ended up joining a band of Fishman pirates who roused his passionate heart by claiming they would strike back against the humans who look down upon the Fishmen and destroy the Marines, those who maintain order and safety for the humans. With Aragaki in tow, the pirates would lead a series of raids against stray Marine vessels. Each more bloody than the last, the strikes would culminate in ambushing a small fleet resulting in heavy casualties on both sides but a pyrrhic victory for the Fishmen. It was here, alone in a bloody sea full of twisted, sinking ships and broken bodies, that Aragaki faced the destruction he was capable of.
The pirate's battle strategy revolved heavily around Aragaki, whose karate and size only added to his main advantage of primal rage. The pirates would aim to funnel or draw foes close enough to Aragaki's wild strikes to be quickly dispatched. This over reliance would prove to be their downfall in the fleet attack as Aragaki's carnage continued to scale up as the battle raged on, his attacks no longer differentiating friend or foe.
Leaving the quickly disbanding Fishman pirates, Aragaki went off to tame his unstable emotions and develop his Fishman karate into a more focused tool that would bring Aragaki peace rather than destruction. For many years, Aragaki would wander the Blues, braving wild islands and extreme conditions to temper his mind and body. After finally honing the fusion of intense emotion and Fishman Karate, Aragaki went on in search of a new crew who would stand for peace and unity rather than death and destruction.
