Curious

Possessing the abundant curiosity of a child, Mina loves seeing new places, new things, and new people. She scurries around as soon as something catches her eye and can’t help but go check it out. She asks tons of questions about anything and everything that she doesn’t understand.

Innocent

Mina grew up relatively sheltered from the world. She only vaguely remembers her time at the slave auction. She tends to believe that all people are going to be nice and kind. She doesn’t understand why someone would want to hurt or trick someone else. Mina can be rather gullible because of it.

Sweet

Mina loves her papa, she loves people, she loves animals, she just loves. She loves a whole lot. She likes doing things that will make the people she cares about smile whether that be making a snack or helping out around the manor. She just wants everyone around her to be happy and smile, and she’ll do whatever it takes.

Mischievous

Despite her sweet nature, Mina has a rather mischievous streak. It might come from the fact that she’s been cooped up most of her life, but she loves to play pranks and sneak off to places where she’s not supposed to be.

Brave

Perhaps in part to her curious nature, Mina shows courage in the face of scary things. She’ll stand up for herself and what she believes is right, almost to the point of recklessness, but she knows that her papa will always be there to bail her out if she gets into too much trouble.

Mina very closely resembles a pallid bat. Her fur is white on her chest and front side and more blond in her hair and back side. She usually wears cute dresses with bloomers beneath them. Her wings make it difficult to fit in anything that isn’t sleeveless, so she wears a shawl over her shoulders. Her hair is curly and fluffy. Her hands are part of her wings and make it difficult to operate things designed for humans, but she can get along most times. She has big blue eyes and a pink nose. Her fur on her face is speckled like freckles.

Using her Devil Fruit, Mina can create hexagonal honeycombs, which produce honey, beeswax, bee bread, royal jelly, and bee glue. She can also create little worker bees, which resemble bats due to her own influence, which can fly around and obey her commands to attack, distract and hamper enemies. She also employs the use of various toys and musical effects in combination with her abilities to keep bad guys away, ensuring control over the battlefield and protection of the Queen Bee.

Mina can generate pink electricity to shock anyone who comes near her from her soft fur. This usually allows her to get away from any bad people by giving them a nasty shock and forcing them to let go of her.

Mink was born with wings as a bat Mink, allowing her to soar in the air and fly! Her wings and arms are one and the same, but Mina typically folds them up when they’re not in use. She can fly around or hover in place by flapping her wings quickly.

As a bat Mink, Mink has huge bat ears, capable of detecting frequencies beyond the range of ordinary human hearing. She’s incredibly difficult to sneak up on because she can always hear if someone is coming. She mostly uses this to find her loved ones if she gets separated from them.

The Kikō Kikō no Mi resembles a pomegranate filled with various seeds and segmented on the inside. The tough skin is a rich amber color that is reminiscent of honey with dark swirling patterns. Unfortunately, like all Devil Fruits, the Kikō Kikō no Mi has a terrible taste. Its particular taste is like earwax.

The Devil Fruit user creates a honeycomb in a nexus of connected hexagonal cells. Each cell is approximately one cubic foot big and can generate honey, bee bread, royal jelly, or bee glue depending on what the user desires. These can be slotted together to build complex structures. The waxy honeycomb is rigid enough to support weight and flexible enough to cushion impacts.

The Devil Fruit user can designate a cell in the honeycomb to spawn a worker bee, which resembles a hexagon with wings and a stinger. The Devil Fruit user can command the worker bees that they create and give them orders. The worker bees will follow them until ordered to do something else or are destroyed. When the Devil Fruit user is threatened, the worker bees defend them automatically unless ordered to do otherwise. The worker bees are also capable of making honeycomb and the various other substances involved with the maintenance of the hive.

Zippy Zap Bees are a variant of worker bees that have a layer of super conductive fuzz all over their bodies. This fuzz holds an electric charge for a long time, allowing Mina to charge them up with electro to strike at distant foes.

A variant of the usual worker bees, Buzzy Buzz Bees can emit powerful shockwave attacks by buzzing extremely loudly. These shockwaves bypass traditional forms of defense to travel through people and materials, allowing them to deafen or harm directly as needed.

By fusing their waxy exteriors, worker bees can fuse to each other and to the honeycomb itself. This allows the worker bees to combine together to form large structures and carry heavier loads by working together.

Mina has learned how to make honeycombs made of wax that is much more durable than normal wax. This wax is as hard as steel and coats her worker bees’ waxy bodies as well, giving them a lot more durability as well. This hardened wax is excellent for building large structures.

They can tap into reserves that they might not have even known they had in order to avoid making Mina cry. The aftereffects of pushing themselves like this does utterly exhaust them when all is said and done, making it difficult to muster up the energy to move even when Mina wants to celebrate and play more.

Description:

By organizing honeycomb into a house shape with the bottom open, Mina can drop the box on enemies to trap them or herself to protect herself.

Worker bees combine to form a platform. Using their wings to fly, they can create a mobile, flying platform. Mina uses this platform to keep herself and her allies safe by keeping them away from harm’s reach. This also lets her fly across vast distances without exhausting herself.

Mina was taken away from her parents and brought off to auction at an extremely young age. She didn’t remember her parents or anything else before the auction. She was just confused, alone, hungry, and scared. In her fright, there was one person who stood out to her amid the sea of faces. Something about him was different from everyone else. Softer. So, she reached out for him and called out the only sounds that she knew how to make.

That man’s name was Klaus von Grimm, and he bought her then and there and took her in as his own, adopting her as his daughter. Mina accepted him wholeheartedly as her father, just happy to have someone who loved her and would take care of her. As she grew and learned to speak, read, and write, her curiosity abounded. She got into trouble and strange spots, but her papa would always come to help her. She was so very happy. They lived together in an incredibly huge house by themselves and their butlers and maids, which was amazing if a little lonely. Mina wasn’t allowed to leave the estate, so she never met any other children her own age.

But that was okay! Her papa went out and brought back tons of amazing things. Lots of animals and weapons and items of all sorts! One of them in particular caught her eye. It was a huge fruit with a bunch of swirls on it. All over it! It looked super yummy too, so when her papa wasn’t looking, she took a big bite out of it. Bleck! Unfortunately for Mina, it tasted super awful. So awful that the bite got stuck in her throat, and she passed out. When she woke up again, she was in her papa’s arms. He seemed really concerned, but Mina felt fine. After a bit of playing around, Mina accidentally used her newly acquired powers to make a weird looking wall. She wasn’t sure how it happened, but her papa told her to stay very far away from water from then on.

One day, Mina got curious about the outside world. She snuck out and flew past the walls that surrounded her papa’s estate and went down to the nearby town. She only wanted to explore and play with other children, but the townsfolk took one look at her and screamed, calling her a monster and throwing things at her. Scared, Mina took to the skies again and fled back to her papa’s estate, but she was followed. The angry mob clamored at the gates as Mina dove into her papa’s arms, apologizing over and over again. Klaus, angered by the injuries he saw on Mina, demanded that the townsfolk leave before he executed them all for hurting his daughter.

Retreating to the manor, Mina kept apologizing until her papa managed to get her to stop and treat her injuries. She promised not to go outside of the estate again, and her papa assured her that everything would be alright. But… Mina felt things get more and more tense around the manor. Her papa was stressed and uneasy. Mina couldn’t help but think it was her fault. Visitors came to the manor. They gave her cold looks filled with disdain and disgust. Mina was worried. She tried to cheer him up, but nothing she did ever made him happy again for long.

This continued for a while until one night, her papa woke her up sometime just before dawn. She was really sleepy and could hardly roll out of bed. He had one of their butlers pack her things, and carried her down into the bowels of the manor. Waking up a little more now, Mina heard banging coming from upstairs and the sounds of a lot of angry people. They went far away through some dark tunnels, and eventually, the noises faded away. Mina could feel the cool night air on her fur. They stole away from their manor on a ship in the night. When Mina looked back at their old home, she saw a blaze on the horizon.

Since then, life had been harder than before, but Mina was just happy to be by her papa’s side. She was happy that they were both safe and together. That was all she wanted. So, she tried to keep her papa’s spirits up whenever he got upset.

  Mina and Klaus arrive on Kyuka after their exile from the Bourgeoisie Kingdom. Unfortunately Mina ends up being captured by Baba Yaya and her grandchildren, a party of slavers. By chance Mina meets Diango and they bond. Through team work both parties are able to take down the foul slavers and form an uneasy alliance.
