Personality
Even tempered and unnaturally calm, Eden is only remotely lively when regarding topics he's passionate about such as "beauty". Eden's morality is grey and flippant; paired with a general lack of social ability he may come off as sociopathic but truly he's just naive and operates based on misconceptions and what little he knows. Despite how cruel he regards "ugly things", Eden could easily be considered kind and courteous.
Appearance
Eden is fair and soft in general. His features are rounded but decidedly masculine with expressive, gold colored eyes. Long and messy white hair bundles up around his shoulders; his head is often growing a variety of fragrant flowers that adorn his unnaturally snowy locks. Eden's limbs are wiry but toned, his general build being in a very natural, youthful prime for man.
He wears fine but simple clothing such as plain dress shirts with slacks, though with earnings made from bounty hunting he's collected quite a few more formal ensembles.

Background
Eden is one of several products created by a great scientific mind under the employ of the World Government. The man in question is obsessive about humanity and their capabilities, finding bold, creative, and very often extreme ways to bring about "biological revolutions" that could shoot the human race to a new apex. Ironically enough, most experiments to this end involve adding something foreign to the human form and the "Sefirot" project that resulted in Eden's creation was no exception.
A curious tree was discovered and captured from a wild, jungle filled island in the Grand Line; it showed signs of intelligence in its own slow and methodical way as a tree, steadily interacting with various stimuli and even communicating through gestures. Eventually it bore a fruit for the scientist, and while the fruit itself had no extraordinary qualities the seed within was remarkable. Even within its crystalline casing the seedling inside the pit behaved much like its progenitor, swaying and coiling in an attempt to convey some meaning. The seed responded to human touch and even seemed to be influenced by the holder's will.
Artificial humans were created in order to house and meld with the special seed. The graft failed time and time again, but on the 7th host the seed took root and from there Eden was born. The seed did more than augment or even supplant the human body, it elevated the cloned husk into a harmonious fusion of plant and animal; the seed itself combining with the limited consciousness of its host to form a complete if highly inhuman mind. Such was the "birth" of Eden.
Eden's mastery of his form went hand in hand with the steady development of his own body, all the while special physical exams were conducted to determine the extents of the new life form. While attempts were made to train the mind, many subjects would find no purchase even as others seemed to come naturally. Despite such shortcomings, Eden was nonetheless fit to serve and passed a rigorous final test from the Navy before joining other fellow test subjects under the Navy's wing posing as independent bounty hunters.
