Brief Synopsis:- After months of living alone, following the massacre of his wife and young son, Shinsei attempts to take his own life by throwing himself overboard with weights to drag him down into the depths of the ocean. Through the intervention of the ship's crew, he is hoisted out of the water and kept alive long enough till he is brought to a rumoured doctor named The Puppeteer, who successfully restores Shinsei's life by making mechanical alterations to his body, effectively turning him into a cyborg. The cyborg awakes and is very unhappy about this, so he lashes out and destroys the lab while the doctor flees, and Shinsei leaves the island in a rowboat.
