A town by the sea was always the most attractive.
Sitting next to the sea usually meant many things, but was not limited to fresh fish, a slightly cooler atmosphere, and varied travelers.
Fresh fish though, oh fresh fish. Much better than dried meat or hard tack.
What's more, a town like this obviously would have a great bar of sorts, one that would not only serve fresh fish, but a drink that paired well with it. Few times, instead of looking for the best thing to eat, looking for the simplest thing usually brought out the best in the ingredients.
And that's why Lukas was looking up at the bar that proclaimed itself to be 'Drinker's Pub' with a sign that stated it had been rebuilt better than before. A small grumble rose from his stomach and Lukas gave it a few dismissive pats, wondering if this would be the place that would treat him to the meal he wanted. He got a few stares from passing travelers and residents, but that was it for the most part. He just looked a little odd compared to most, but he carried no sword or gun, his face seemed calm and almost happy, and he just seemed interested in the building before him.
Very normal.
He hoped at least. Movement on his back, beneath the shield, altered him to his own companion getting a little tired of him just standing around, and he nodded he head and grinned.
"Aye, nothin will come our way just standin here. Let's get something to eat." He'd muse aloud, taking a deep breath and approaching the doorway, pushing it open and walking in confidently, looking around and trying to gauge the crowd inside. And... well... it was a mixed bag. There seemed to be a few families, various townsfolks, and the rest all seemed to be sailors and travelers like him, and a small weight was lifted off his shoulders.
Like this, he wouldn't have to worry too much, and Lukas made his way over to the bar itself, picking a seat that had empty seats around it. He sat down, spun around once, and stopped himself facing forward, happily waiting for a menu of sorts to come his way, excitement reverberating through his body.
