Kayla was flapping her wings in a somewhat jovial mood. Having hitched a ride on a ship heading to Cinna Island, she had expected to depart on the island, but as the ship was passing by a small island on the way to it, she decided to hop ship and check it out. Given her guise as a small insect, no one really paid any mind as she flew away from it and towards the island. Though it wasn't much of an island to be honest, probably just a large sandbar with some greenery. Though it would make a nice little getaway for a bit, where she could hang out and be herself. It was a hassle to stay cooped up on a ship as a moth the entire time. Only shifting into a more humanoid form to sneak some food on occasion.
As she approached the island, the small moth in the air slowly shifted into a larger form, where the wings flapped more slowly and she transitioned to gliding down onto it. Though as she landed, her form didn't slip back to a humans, no, it stayed somewhere in between. A somewhat elegant dress covered her body, her four arms stretching out as her translucent brown hair was caught in a slight breeze, her antennae, caught in the same breeze twitched just a little. Sand slipped between her feet and her sandals as her wings folded gently behind her. Her segmented eyes taking in the area.
"Aaahh.."
A sigh escaped her lips as she began to walk along the sands. This was wonderful. Tiny little spots of land like this were perfect for her to just take a break on. She'd checked the ships map earlier, and it seemed that this was just a little beach with a streak of forest no one seemed to care about, as such it was like her own little private island for a time. She'd take said time and enjoy herself before fluttering her way over to the main island. Of course if something bothered her she could leave at any moment, but with the nice weather, and no company but the plants, and maybe a few animals, she'd be happy to laze about here for quite some time, soaking in the sun, enjoying the sound of the waves she couldn't swim in because she was a fruit girl. That was probably the only sore spot for her about this, that she really did miss swimming, though flying kind of made up for it in a big way.
That was how her day was going as she slowly meandered her way across the beach, she did move more towards the tree line, she didn't want any nearby ships to show up and possibly see her, having someone come out here and bother her like that would just be a drag. Not to mention she'd probably end up having to answer a few questions she didn't want to. For now, this little island was hers, and she was going to enjoy it.
