Moya Moya no Mi
English Name:– Misty Misty Fruit
Name Meaning:– '‘Moya’ (靄) is a Japanese term for haze or mist, and ‘Moyamoya’ can mean for something to be misty or hazy.
Classification:– Logia
Owned By:– Misty Meadows
Appearance:– Born from a small bunch of grapes, the Moya Moya no Mi transforms it’s ‘host’ in a number of ways, not least of which in colour. Each small orb of the fruit being possessed by the power, the devil associated with this ability changes its tone to a very pale blue, looking like an off white without close inspection. The grapes being wrapped in a swirling path that makes a pattern when together, they also seem to grow a short length of ‘peachy fuzz’, becoming slightly hairy and more similar to the surface of a peach. A green stalk shaped like a ‘T’ being formed from its centre, the ends of this forked stem droop slightly, making it look like a slightly downturned smile, much like how foggy weather seems to sow discontent with people.
Ability:–The Moya Moya no Mi transforms it’s user into a ‘Vapour Human’ (水蒸気人間 ~ Suijoki Ningen), bestowing upon them the following abilities;
Able to assume a partial or full transition to their element, the user can become a mass of floating mist or fog, which allows them to effectively 'avoid' most forms of damage thanks to the fact that their new state cannot be harmed by the same method an ordinary body would, or slip through cracks or gaps into infiltrate locales.
Production
Their new state affording them the potent capacity to propagate their form seemingly without limit, not only does that mean they can easily replace lost portions but also greatly expand their available mass well beyond what the users body would give, allowing for the potential to create gigantic attacks with proper mastery of their powers.
Manipulation
Able to demonstrate great control over vapour, not only can the user shape and control the substance they become but they can also harness ambient sources of their medium in order to bolster their reserve, making them incredibly powerful in foggy weather.
Vapour Trail – Special Ability
An airborne 'element', the user of this ability can freely float and fly around in their transformation, either by fully becoming their element or transforming enough of it to carry themselves around.[/ul]
Weaknesses:– First and foremost the user becoming an 'enemy' of the sea, submersion of any degree in water both salty and otherwise robs them of their ability to activate their power, weakens their body, and if substantial enough can leave them totally paralysed and effectively helpless.
Seastone having a similar effect, exposure to this mysterious substance can likewise restrict activation of their Devil Fruit abilities, as well as drain their strength and stamina.
Vulnerable to the wind, squalls and wakes of air pressure can disperse the foggy effect of their quirk, allowing the attacker to hit the real form which is 'concealed'by the ability. This also a problem with their power in general, even the techniques they create can be blasted away and dispersed by strong wind, and their flying ability is similarly hampered.
