Subetei’s personality is built around himself in a way that is deceptive, a sort of selfish leyline that branches out into his entire being and his interactions with others. He is a warm man in his own way, quick to a smile and a laugh with a charisma that is entirely based on his own self-confidence and assurance. He knows himself like few people alive will ever know themselves and knows exactly what he is capable of, acting with a steady hand and knowledge regardless of the perceptions of others.
This makes him easy to befriend and hard to anger or agitate, almost making him seem easygoing, except that he has absolutely no qualms about retaliating against others if he feels it necessary. It’s exceedingly hard to upset or hurt him, but he also asks for the same respect he gives others and he can laugh off an insult if it is deserved or forgive an impasse if it is unintentional, but he is just as quick to throw a punch or leave someone bloody if it was intentional and out of malice. The line is extremely fine, and sometimes it seems entirely up to Subetei’s mood if he reacts with a smile or a fist, but spending enough time around him begins to make it clear how he operates.
In the same vein, Subetei is polite and respectful to others in his own way, barring circumstances, and will cordially compliment or talk with others even in situations that make it seem extremely bizarre, such as in the middle of a fight or with his foot on the back of their head. This, combined with the fact he rarely actually loses his temper or acts impulsively, can make him seem as if he is disconnected or even mentally imbalanced and in some ways perhaps he is.
The reasoning behind this is that Subetei has a heavy lack of consideration for the perceptions and thoughts of others when it comes to himself and he acts both pragmatically and logically in a way that borders on instinctual. Meaning that he simply doesn’t care if someone is, for instance, fighting him because he doesn’t consider the emotional components of a fight, only the intentions. A marine fights him because it is their job, a pirate fights him for his treasure, a civilian fights him in self-defense and once you recognize Subetei thinks this way, it explains his personal detachment from situations quite handily.
Combined with all this, Subetei is an incredibly driven man who has a high tolerance for stress and adverse situations. He trains and works hard, often daily for hours without end, he navigates life without flinching and he rarely lacks composure or some element of himself, only rarely losing himself to any sort of emotional outburst. He can beam with laughter and smile brightly, he can weep and despair, but there is an extremely thin line between his emotional spectrum and if he needs to any of his emotions and thoughts can be bottled up and stored for a private moment to focus on a task at hand.
Jovial and full of energy, it is natural to assume Subetei then is a ‘good’ person because he doesn’t hold any malice towards others or have any need to prove himself, and that assumption would be dead wrong; Subetei has a natural tendency to solve his problems physically, often using his combat skills, and he will do whatever it takes to accomplish a need or a goal. He will pay for food and drink if he has the money for it, or he’ll simply take what he wants and leave others to pick themselves up off the floor, and he thrives on challenge and exertion. He will fight others to test himself or improve himself in his own perspective and he has absolutely no qualms about robbing, killing or anything in between if it suits his needs.
It does not help matters that Subetei thrives in combat, and revels in it in the same way others would revel in a fine wine or a good book. He loses himself to the rush of a battle and the more the odds are against him, the more he loves it. While he won’t quite go so far as to recklessly throw himself into impossible situations, one could call his actions almost self-destructive or even accuse him of battle lust yet it is not quite so simple. It is a primary result of his confidence and lack of fear, allowing him to make a decision on if he can survive a fight in the moment and act accordingly. If he feels a fight is worth it, nothing can dissuade him, and if he feels it isn’t he’ll walk away without hesitation.
This isn’t to say he doesn’t have moral or ‘good’ impulses, and he has multiple times put himself in front of others to save them from bad situations or acted out of a place of charity, but rather from his sense of self and his needs. If he needs someone dead, they’ll die and if he doesn’t then he will act according to his desires. He’ll save someone from drowning after knocking them overboard, but not if it prevents him from escaping Marines or taking supplies from their hold, or simply if they’ve done or said something Subetei holds against them.
Included in these sometimes altruistic or seemingly good traits is a great degree of loyalty to those who prove themselves worthy of it in the most rigid sense of the word; Someone has to prove themselves to Subetei in a way he appreciates and not simply bow down and placate him. He can like a person without being loyal to them but he can absolutely not be loyal to someone he hasn’t been given a reason to. In the same vein, once Subetei’s loyalty is earned it’s only lost if someone makes a truly unconscionable decision that Subetei cannot support or betrays him, and then it’s never given again.
Everyone gets approximately one chance. This seems harsh in it’s finality, but the truth is EVERYONE gets that once chance, and Subetei’s abandonment of others requires some heavy reasoning behind it. He won’t give up on someone for a rumor or a suspicion, and he is incredibly direct with others. While he can be more guarded and socially acceptable when he wants to be, when he needs a question answered that question is asked, directly and without any misunderstanding.
Once Subetei is loyal to someone, that loyalty is almost self-destructive in how extreme he can go for them. Putting himself in harm’s way is the least of what he will do for others and risking his own life could be considered the more banal feats he will accomplish. For the sake of those precious to him, Subetei would go to almost any lengths even if it cost him his life. He is also exceedingly generous with those he likes and will gladly support or supply them as they need. In the same vein he is not a particularly materialistic person himself, except perhaps when it comes to weapons and tools he personally uses.
Subetei also doesn’t believe in doing anything on half measures. If he’s going to do something, he’s going to do it with all his effort, and while this means he can be quite energetic and active it also means he can sink into moods of absolute laziness and ennui where moving him is impossible. It’s in these moods he tends to indulge his hobbies or secondary needs, or simply sit in the sun drinking all day until something presents an interest to him.
He is also quite a grounded man, not acting on idle curiosity or boredom but he will focus on things that are intriguing and especially in his less active moods he can absolutely lose himself to the impulse to do or see things that give him something to focus on.
When he isn’t fighting or roving through life with seemingly no concerns, Subetei has a number of hobbies that fill his time in one manner or another. He has spent years learning how to hunt, cook, tan leather, carve basic tools and items out of wood or stone and is otherwise an avid survivalist able to live for highly extended periods of time by himself or in isolation and on a ship this means he can fill his time nearly endlessly. In terms of his skill levels Subetei is very much a generalist, able to serve a number of roles aboard a ship but not at a level needed to sustain a crew by himself, and certainly not at a specialist level.
Appearance
Standing at over nine feet tall and weighing in at just shy of three hundred pounds, Subetei is a massive figure who straddles the line between ‘oversized’ and ‘muscular’ very well. He isn’t thin by any measure and his body is overall quite thick and muscular, supported by ample pockets of fat that smooth out what would be more intense muscles. He is still quite muscular and it shows, but is less visually muscular than his training and habits would indicate. Combining patches of thick, black scales granted by his Alligator Gar heritage and his natural horns, Subetei cuts an impressive and intimidating form at first glance.
Complimenting this is his cut, edged face and his wild mane of gray-blonde hair that he sweeps back and hangs in braids around his face, his thin lips hiding two upper and lower sets of sharp teeth which tend to be revealed in quite sinister ways when he smiles. His horns are composed of the same sturdy substance as his scales and have a unique way of dulling in the light instead of shining because of their method of formation, meaning in direct sunlight his scales lose all definition and simply become patches of jagged black on his skin.
His body scales are quite numerous and adorn his face, his jaw, his scalp and neck, cresting over his shoulders and lower arms onto the back of his hands with more covering his hips, thighs, back of his legs and even a line down his spine.
Subetei’s body is also absolutely covered in scars from his lifestyle, scars he has no qualms with showing off even if his normal dress style obscures most of them. The most prominent is on his face; His right eye is a clear, glowing blue color and his natural brow is slightly narrowed, but his left eye is thoroughly scarred with a heavily dulled pupil and milky iris surrounded by jagged scar tissue that goes down over his cheek onto his facial scales and up to his left temple, near the base of his horn. More scars dot his body including a heavy set of claw marks across his chest scales and more, some trailing down to his hips and legs. Some have had his scales grow over them, disguising them as his scales do grow with age.
Subetei’s normal clothing is usually quite simple, preferring clothing in browns and grays or light blues and black colors which is accented by his tendency to prefer leather and hide as a material. He wears thin cloth shirts usually supported by leather straps around his arms or over his wrists as cuffs, light hide or fabric pants as well as heavy coats over everything else. He is comfortable in sailing clothes and wears deck boots, sashes and leather neck guards as well as scarves and his most distinctive accessory, the thick leather eyepatch over his left eye, which protects his wounded eye.
One of Subetei’s most distinctive features is his blueberry-colored skin, appearing as a deep cerulean blue at it’s darkest and lightening to a lilac purple in the thinner or more highlighted areas and when he flushes, his skin adopts a more rich purple color.
Traits
- Inhuman Strength
Thanks to natural bulk or intense training regimes, you have physical might that far surpasses the human norm. You can lift boulders and other great weights that no normal man could hope to.
- Amphibious
You have the ability to breathe underwater and in open air and are adapted to be able to swim better than other races, reducing drag and allowing you to perform normal movements even in the crushing depths.
- Alligator Gar Physiology
As an Alligator Gar Fishman, Subetei possesses both a naturally thick hide which resists damage and dense bone-like scales in patches on his body. These scales are sharp, serrated and layered like armor in a way that lets them absorb impact from metal and even bullets to some degree. They can regrow within a short time as long as the skin underneath isn't damaged and can be flung from the body through muscle contraction, allowing Subetei to use them offensively as well.
Fighting Style
Name:– Fishman BrawlingFocus:– Axe Combat, Martial Arts
Class:– E
Description:– A combat style which revolves around the use of an axe and the body practiced by Subetei, primarily adapted from Fishman Karate with the addition of a melee weapon in the form of the axe as an extension of the fighter’s body. Wielding an axe in one hand with the other hand free, Subetei’s versatile fighting style incorporates kicks, punches, grapples and throws in addition to the axe as a matter of form.
By utilizing an oversized axe typically only usable with two hands by humans and adjusting his grip on it during a fight, Subetei is able to fight with a high degree of versatility and skill without sacrificing brute strength when he needs it, as he can easily switch to a two handed grip for more powerful strikes or use the axe to deflect weapons and counterattack with his body or bare hand.
Equipment
Fullmetal Waraxe
Fighting Style:- Fishman Brawling
Rank:- 1
Description:- Subetei’s signature weapon, a massive battle axe measuring at five feet in total length with an epsilon-style blade, a one and a half foot long curved metal blade with two gaps between the blade and the shaft where hands could grip under the blade.
As it’s name implies, the entire axe is made of metal and a considerable amount of extra weight is concentrated on the head of the axe itself. This adds to the weapon’s defensive capabilities by making it easy for Subetei to use the entire axe to block attacks, but the main advantage is the staggering force generated with each swing, increasing it’s overall damage and making even hits with the blunt shaft of the weapon capable of shattering bones.
Survival Axe
Fighting Style:- Fishman Brawling
Rank:- 0
Description:- A combination of tool and self defense weapon, this axe has a traditional ono-style head with a long ‘beard’ portion for hooking and lifting objects, a heavy blade and a flattened back for use as a hammer. While Subetei prefers to use it as a tool, it is perfectly capable of being incorporated into his fighting style if necessary.
Techniques
Name:– Usgün
Fighting Style:–Fishman Brawling, Fullmetal Waraxe Specific
Rank:– 2
Description:– Subetei’s signature technique which involves him taking a wide stance with both hands gripping his axe and then coiling his body to one side, axe high above his shoulders, and then releasing it at once as he rushes forward. This releases a tremendous amount of torque and tension in one swing that cleaves an upward arc in front of him. Beyond just the force generated, the momentum and weight mean that this blow causes an upward shockwave that can easily destroy solid objects in it’s path and send nearby opponents off their feet into the air. Normal axes or similar weapons would simply shatter from the force generated and thus this technique is only usable with Subetei’s Fullmetal Waraxe.
Name:– Ihkever
Fighting Style:–Fishman Brawling
Rank:– 1
Description:– A technique derived, at it’s core, from Fishman Karate tenants where Subetei executes a basic flip kick, essentially twisting his body sideways and flipping off his foot, cracking his opponent with his leg. At the same time, Subetei forces his axe along the same path as his leg, crashing it into them in the same motion and generating a considerable amount of damage.
Name:– Khüever
Fighting Style:–Fishman Brawling
Rank:– 1
Description:– A misleadingly simple technique where, when close to a target, Subetei quite literally smashes his forehead down into them after throwing his upper body back somewhat. While visually brutish and basic, the core technique still closely resembles Fishman Karate brick-breaking forehead strikes and is capable of dealing impressive damage to a target and is quite effective when grappling with an opponent at extreme close range, or to break a guard.
Backstory
Born on Fishman Island, Subetei was never caught up in the same pace as the people around him. Even as other youths of his generation raged at the injustices of their people and unrest grew, Subetei seemed to gravitate to his own interests. He would play games as a child that took him all over the island and his friends, more often than not, got dragged at his pace and even when they would go back to their homes he would wander further and further, coming back the next day with a brilliant grin and some trophy or scar to show the others. Even with how at odds he was with the others in attitude he was quite popular and fit in well enough, at first.
As he grew older those ties began to fray as Subetei focused on the things that interested him; The world around him and his own physical prowess, his games and adventures turning into time away from the island itself. To what might be considered ‘camping’ in the undersea forests and terrain, gaining an appreciation early for the martial arts and physical prowess that culminated in him working towards joining the military itself. It should have been a natural fit, especially as Subetei’s prodigious size and strength began to show itself to others. Yet where he only grew more focused as he aged, the others of his friends began to fray and broil with frustrations.
Life on Fishman Island was not a place for those who were unwilling to play one side of the movement or the other, it was a place where you at least paid lip service to one ideal or another. While the vocal majority just wanted safety and security, the minority were those most willing to raise their arms and Subetei was pressured early and often into the idea of joining with one or more of these groups. Pirates, terrorists, movements dedicated to bringing some ‘justice’ back to their people.
Subetei was indifferent. He understood their anger in the same way one understands anything else, as an intellectual idea, but he didn’t share it. Even at this young age he had wedged himself away from the island enough that it’s trials and injustices hadn’t gnawed at him, retreating into the comfort of his familiar sea trenches and coral forests when it had become too much for him. Somehow he never felt a connection to the times his people lived in and it showed in how he stood between the two sides.
It came to a head. Subetei should have been training one evening when a group of his friends showed up and invited him out to explore with them. Promises of a new reef and something interesting in store for him beckoned him, even with warning signs around him, and Subetei found himself standing in a secluded grove over a bound and gagged group of humans. Marines who, he was told, had sunk to the bottom of the ocean floor in a damaged ship after a clash with pirates. Marines no one would miss, Marines who would make a good outlet for the rage of a few of those gathered.
To some it would have been a philosophical moment, a reflection on how the oppressed were lashing out with the only tools at their disposal left to them, violence and hate replacing earnest cries for justice. Subetei was not one of them. His scoff as he turned on his fellows and began walking away cut through a tense silence as he explained that if they wanted to kill some defenseless humans, he wouldn’t stop them, but he was going to go get ready for something worth his time.
One of the others gathered threw a punch, Subetei would never be exactly sure which one, and Subetei turned just in time to catch it on his jaw and return it. They were young idiots, Subetei included, and hot blood pounded in their veins. Some tried to pull Subetei off the others, some tried to get their own blows in and some were just horrified at the fight unfolding, but when it was said and done, Subetei had beaten two of his ‘friends’ bloody and thrown the rest off himself at least once. Whatever camaraderie they shared burned away in the strength of Subetei’s glare as he stood there, bloody knuckles and bruises on his face.
Then someone drew a knife. Their own pride and pettiness aside, they told the others that Subetei couldn’t be allowed to walk away. He’d tell someone else that they'd killed the Marines, and Subetei stood his ground as they rushed at him. None of the others tried to stop what happened, but they watched it all the same as Subetei let the other man close enough that any attempt at bluffing long faded.
The knife sunk home in Subetei’s side, and Subetei lashed out in return. The other young man’s body slammed face-first into a coral tree and then was pushed further, driven through it until it collapsed atop him. Subetei stood over the fallen tree and his heavily injured former friend, wrenching the knife from his side and tossing it at the feet of the others. Asking, his eyes narrowed, which one of them wanted to try and shut him up next.
With no one trying to stop him, Subetei left that clearing without another word. It wasn’t the only place he left that night as he traveled back home, gathering his possessions and turning himself out of the island on his own. No one stopped to question him and those that watched him pass were met only with his cold stare as he left. He had no desire to remain any longer, not after what he’d just done. Even if he could justify it to himself and others, there would be others who would never accept it and hound him for it for the rest of his life.
Rather than accepting those consequences for what was ultimately an act of self defense, Subetei took the option of cutting himself off from his people. Perhaps there was an act of defiance to those who expected him to rage or plead on behalf of his race, or perhaps it was a logical result of the disconnect he found, but it was all the same.
Self-exiling himself from his people out of what could at best be called sheer indifference had the effect of making Subetei’s next few years difficult. A lone fishman quite literally swimming out on his own into a world he’d never experienced before was never going to be easy, but he left with literally the clothing on his back and a few sparse provisions. All he had was his hands and his instincts, and those became the basis for his life for years.
At times he found passage across the Grand Line, at times he swam the seas alongside passing ships to find safety and at others he lived in isolation for days or weeks until conditions allowed him to travel or boats passed, surviving on desolate islands. Slowly he became accustomed to the world and grew comfortable in it, enough that his travels became less about harrowing his way through the Grand Line towards something resembling stability and becoming an extremely dangerous extended camping trip.
Subetei made something of a small name for himself as he journeyed, picking up bounties for Pirates unlucky enough to end up in his path and tossing them to the Marines, though just as often he would end up leaving Pirates after he’d fought them if he didn’t particularly need the money. This all came to an end when he found himself a worthy opponent; A pirate named Valdhur Ironside.
He and his crew, the Ironwake Pirates, encountered Subetei as a young man and Subetei hastily decided to try his hand. Emboldened by his many victories and survival, Subetei wasn’t expecting to be quite handily defeated and laying in the dirt, a sword stuck in the ground next to his head, Subetei felt a sensation of disbelief that carried him back to his feet and back into the fight.
Despite his best efforts, Subetei fell again and again, each time Captain Ironside let him stumble back to his feet and try again. Yet for as angry as Subetei should have been at being played with in such a way, it wasn’t how he felt; It was as if he suddenly had a goal thrust in front of him after so much time of just surviving, and judging from how the Captain handled himself he was enjoying the challenge of an opponent who was trying to overcome him just as much.
Though Subetei didn’t defeat Valdhur that day, the two became fast friends and when the Ironwake Pirates were intending to move on, Subetei joined them. Their journey took them over the Grand Line and outside, giving Subetei something like a surrogate family in their interactions. The crew was close and Valdhur took Subetei under his wing, helping foster a certain warrior spirit that carries Subetei to this day in addition to his already present love for battle and self improvement.
The Ironwake Pirates would be active for some time and during one of their voyages, Subetei witnessed a young woman fall overboard on a ship. She had gotten tangled in a rope line and had fallen into the sea and Subetei was the last person most expected to intervene, but he did. Diving into the water, Subetei scooped her out and delivered her back to her ship before swimming back to his own.
It marked the formation of Subetei's own moral code and one of the more important meetings in his life, as he didn't intervene just because she was in trouble. She couldn't get herself out of the ropes and keep herself above water, and would have died through ultimately no fault of her own; That was what Subetei latched onto and fought against in helping her.
The Ironwake Pirates and Subetei operated for years after, gaining formidable reputations and becoming a well respected and feared crew. During this time Subetei made his way up the ranks of his crew and stood alongside Valdhur as one of its most prominent members, but this began to ferment something dark among the rest of the crew. Some who hadn't particularly liked bringing Subetei aboard to begin with now regarded him with disdain, and a fissure began to form.
That fissure was cracked wide open one day when the crew encountered a ship in open waters in one of the Blues. Though not in need of supplies and simply returning to an island they knew they could find a harbor at and have a good time, Subetei decided to test himself and threw himself into the sea after the ship.
What he found was not a simple passenger vessel. It was a slaver ship delivering fresh catches and transferring slaves to an auction house, and even as Subetei began to decide to let the ship sail away, he recognized someone. The woman he'd saved years before, in chains and quietly being led around the ship. That was a sign, to him, and more than anything else what drove him to the ship that night.
Climbing aboard, Subetei cut a swath through the slavers and handlers, tearing men from the vessel and turning the boat to the safe harbor he knew was nearby. When he arrives, his crew was in awe and shock at what he'd done, but the impression didn't last long among the more staunch of Subetei's detractors.
Even as Subetei brought the slaves to shore and freed them, others were decrying it. None of them cared about the morality of it, maybe Subetei himself least of all, but there was a real chance Subetei's actions would come back on them. Slaves like this could have been hand picked by a World Noble or worse, and there was a strong possibility it would reflect worse on them when they returned to the Grand Line if any of the brokers found out about this.
Subetei defended himself simply and bluntly, stating he'd done what was expected of him. Captured the ship and defeated the crew. Freeing the slaves aboard was a byproduct, his right as the one who'd captured it and his decision. If any of them wanted to challenge him over it, they were free, and Valdhur supported Subetei's decision. The slaves deserved the same right to live or die free as any warrior and any of his crew unhappy with that were asked to tell him now or leave.
In the end, the crew stayed together and Subetei found himself drawn to the woman he'd rescued twice now. Her name was Seterah and she was gorgeous, but mute, and Subetei found her comforting in the days of uncertainty when the crew was at each other's throats. She had survived as a slave and held herself high, but she was brittle, and Subetei quietly called in favors to have her housed and treated on the island they were docked at. He didn't expect to see her again, he expected to sail away and let her survive or fall on her own strength. He'd freed her and now it was her job to be strong enough to keep going.
When the Ironwake Pirates left, he bid her goodbye and ignored a few taunts that he should have taken her aboard as his woman, though perhaps he didn't protest as much as he could have. Those feelings however were soon replaced by a cold suspicion as Subetei realized many of the crew were ardently avoiding him and the Captain, daggers glared behind backs and words hushed when he approached. Ironside and Subetei planned to gather the crew and break the ill feelings, or return to harbor and cast off any crew they didn't trust to sail with them anymore.
They never got that chance.
Subetei awoke to the sound of screaming and metal on metal, the deep night hours pierced by the light of lanterns and bursts of gunpowder. One of his crew members burst into his room and came at him just as he was getting to his feet, and Subetei reacted. When he was finished, Subetei managed to get the truth out of him quickly enough; it was mutiny.
Rushing out onto the deck, Subetei found himself in the middle of a bloody melee that had already claimed much of the crew, many of whom were cut down as they tried to wake Valdhur or Subetei, and Subetei stopped dead when he emerged onto the deck. The Captain was strung to the mast, bloodied and beaten, with much of the crew surrounding him. Subetei's arrival on deck sprung them into action and he smashed into them with every ounce of fury he could muster.
It wasn't enough, not that night. Though Subetei cut down much of the mutineers, others managed to tear into him and he finally went down, held down and forced to watch as one of the crew denounced Subetei and Valdhur's weakness and risk to the crew. Then Subetei watched his Captain be murdered in front of him, a sword driven through his chest and pinning him to the mast.
Subetei would never truly remember the next few minutes of his life, a ferocious black rage taking his senses for the next few minutes. He slammed himself through the side of the deck and overboard, carrying himself into the water, and then tore into the Ironwake vessel with his bare hands, dragging it piece by piece into the waters. When the mutineers hit the water, dragged down by the sinking vessel, Subetei had them.
Days later, Subetei finally dragged himself ashore at the island he'd just left. He was practically a walking corpse, trudging out of the sea with blood and water pouring off him. Those who knew him helped him to the village doctor who tried his best, but couldn't repair the worst of it. Subetei's body was battered and torn, his eye smashed to near blindness during his struggles with his crew and much of him covered in wounds that would have, perhaps should have killed him.
It took days for him to even leave death's door. Weeks to open his eye. A month passed and he still struggled to even hold a conscious thought as he laid there, drifting in and out of his injuries. Yet every time he did, he found himself meeting the eyes of a familiar face. Seterah.
It took months for Subetei to be able to move under his own power again and he could still barely lift his arms without help. His injuries were extreme, and surviving to recovery was already more than anyone could have asked for. Getting back to his feet would take time, and getting back to his old strength and self would take even longer.
Yet even as he reflected on spending so much of his life piecing himself back together, Subetei found Seterah quietly supporting him. Her presence soothing the demons of his emotions and mind, helping drag him from a darkness he almost fell into. They were together almost every day over the next few years as Subetei began to recover, and when Subetei decided to leave the island to push himself in a more strenuous environment, she came with him.
For the next years of their lives, Subetei and Seterah lived together on desolate islands and deserted places, Subetei bringing himself back to a place he was whole once more.and Seterah learning from him, and finding her own ways of growing alongside him. It took more time than either of them had anticipated but Subetei, though not completely, finally found himself ready. Years had passed since Subetei had last sailed as a pirate and when he took Seterah back with him, the world had changed. Subetei and the Ironwake Pirates had long been forgotten or assumed dead, with much of their previous fame and notoriety lost to the time he'd spent in recovery.
Alongside the woman who helped him return to where he was now, Subetei has decided to take back the strength and prowess he had before and go further. To take the spirit of the Ironwake Pirates and his Captain to the end of the world and in the process, prove to himself no betrayal or injury will keep him from becoming stronger and challenging greater foes.
A goal that now sees himself and Seterah leaving to find their way to the Grand Line, to the Pinnacle of the world once more.[/ul]
