Magnus #1
It was several days after the incident on Jerum Island and Magnus was walking through the streets of Lyneel, lost in his thoughts.
After everything that happened, he wanted to head back home and take some rest. However, he couldn't risk it. Not until he'll find out how personally did the Marines take that he took their wanted killer just under their nose.
No, until the next newspaper will come out, he couldn't risk going back and so he picked a different route instead. Going further north, he ended up on Lyneel.
Speaking about the killer, right at the moment, Samson was sleeping in his cabin on the ship. Last night the barely sane youngster spend the whole night running in the city and spooking drunk sailors that were returning from an inn, so when Magnus tried to wake him up, he failed miserably. So he left him be and headed to the town to get breakfast for the both of them.
While walking through the city streets he was trying to blend with the crowd, but his tall, heavily muscular frame, together with the military outfit and loud stomping that was accompanying his every step, were drawing a lot of attention to him anyway.
The local citizens were instinctively clearing a way for him as they didn't want to become a target of his ire. Little did they know that what looked like an expression of pure rage and killing intent was actually the resting expression of his stern, naturally unsmiling face.
As he was unfamiliar with this island, it took Magnus some time before he finally found the right place. Small stall, who's owner, a friendly looking woman in her late thirties, was selling fresh pastry and coffee.
"Finally a good news."
Magnus smiled for himself, as he lined at the end of short que before this nearly divine altar.
