Many years ago on a hot summers day~
The sun was shining gloriously in a cloudless sky, hanging there as a golden orb that acted as if it owned everything its light had touched. It was right in some aspect as without the sun none of this would be possible. None of the grand architecture, the amazing stone work and skill needed to design an entire tiered city that rose from the ocean with such majesty. The water works that flowed through the city and gave it all of its sparkling splender.
The city that was so abuzz in the hot summers day was Water 7, it was alive with people of all shapes and sizes walking on the paths or riding along the intricate canal network on the Yagara. All of these people just going about their daily business, living their lives supporting the major business of the water city. Ship Making. A fine craft that everyone on this planet needed, if it weren’t for the ships produced here many people would live bored on a single island or the red line continents.
It was this industry that the blue haired fashionista was deeply involved in. Annika had been on the island of shipwrights for months upon months and had seen it all. The Aqua Laguna, The sea train, the fights in the dockyards. A series of wonders that she had quickly grown bored with, if you had seen it once then you would know how it would go a thousand times.
“Ohh! Now that is a pair I need!” She called out. Her soft voice being raised slightly to get the attention of her personal bag carrier. This was a person she never left the house without. “Come on Claude!” The Lollipop sucker announced to the man who was trailing behind her. His tired expression and dull grey eyes sank as he watched the short young woman charge off to the shop.
“Coming Annika!” He managed to call out, his arms weighed down by the many many bags he had already been burdened with. Claude was just hoping that she would tire out soon and he could escort her home, being on bag duty always sucked when Annika went out. “Is this the last stop today Miss?” He asked, attempting and failing to hide his tiredness.
The blue haired girl had already darted into shop and was eyeing up a pair of heeled trainer style shoes that had bright orange and blue colours in a sharp pattern. “I love them~!” Annika squealed to delight and hopping up and down, bouncing with an energy no one who had been shopping for five hours straight with no breaks should.
