When speaking on subjects that have to do with history, archeology, or archery, he can light up and talk all day, but other than that, he can be easily annoyed. He can be a little selfish like that. His approach to the obstacles that the seas throws at him are viewed through the lens of a hunter (or as an assassin, as some of his foes could attest.) He identifies the issue, comes up with the best way to attack the issue, then executes. This could mean an honorable duel, or most likely an arrow fired from the dark to remove the threat before it can react. With like minded people he could trust, he's often a protective "big brother" that looks out for his wards by any means necessary. His sense of humor can be dark, and will often mask any anxious feelings with it. A rule of thumb, the more dangerous the situation, the more casual jokes about dying horribly.
--
A slender brown skinned young man with coarse black hair cut low, especially on the sides. Wears a thin black hooded cloak over sleeveless brown leather armor with a dark green t-shirt underneath. A pair of rectangular sunglasses cover his eyes in the daytime. Dark black pants and brown boots protect his legs and feet. He carries a recurve bow on his back, with a black quiver full of arrows. On his waist is a small rucksack for small tools and items necessary for whatever task he has ahead of him. a long knife hangs on his right hip. His lower arms have random claw-shaped scars from fending off the animals he hunted to hone his skill with the bow. He often keeps his hood on when outside in daylight. He's used to traveling in forests, caves, and hidden places, so when he's out and about, intense sunlight is hard on his eyes.
--
Light-Sensitive: Negative trait. Due to spending long periods of time in areas with little direct sunlight (i.e. caves, ruins, etc.) or areas with a lot of shade (i.e. forests), Thraydrell's eyes have become unusually sensitive in broad daylight. Without his hood or a pair of sunglasses, it feels like he's staring directly into the sun.
Fast Climber: Thraydrell's earliest combat experiences were against wild animals, and he often had to climb trees and cliffs very quickly, either to gain a vantage point to aim at his quarry, or to quickly escape an attacking predator. Now whenever there's a foothold available, Thraydrell can scale a tree, cliff, wall, mast, etc. with speed comparable to an arboreal animal, such as a squirrel or monkey.
Low-Light Vision: By contrast with his light sensitivity, because he's used to navigating areas with low amounts of natural light, his eyesight has adjusted to do more with less. This doesn't include pitch black areas, in which case, he's as blind as everyone else.

Fighting Style: "Three-Grip Assault Archery" Archery, versatility focus. A Tactical style of archery where Thraydrell changes the position of his fingers during the draw based on the combat situation he's in. For example, for rapid firing, he draws holding the arrow in between the knuckles; for power and range, he hooks the index finger around the arrow; for mid range accuracy, he'll pinch the arrow with his thumb and index finger. The "three-grips" form the core of the method of archery, and allows Thraydrell to fight optimally no matter what situation he's in.
Equipment:
- Rank 1: Bladed Steel Recurve Bow: A simple steel bow with a razor running down the front of the bow. This allows the bow to be used as a bladed melee weapon.
- Rank 0: Steel-tipped arrows: Basic wooden arrows with a steel arrowhead.
Techniques:
- Rank 0: Quick-Draw (Knuckle grip): Using the speed-based knuckle grip, Thraydrell fires off a basic shot with a simple snatch and release motion.
- Rank 0: Full-Draw (Hook-grip): Using the power-based hook grip, Thraydrell fully-draws the bow back, aims carefully, and then releases the shot. This yields maximum range and power.
- Rank 0: Sniper's Draw (Pinch-grip) Using the accuracy based pinch grip, Thraydrell uses this shot for precision shots against opponents. While this is also a "full-draw" shot, this yields a more accurate shot within 40 yards.
- Rank 1: Peregrine Draw (Hook-grip): Using great concentration, Thraydrell fires off a shot that is precise yet powerful over longer distances. This is his signature attack, and hits the target with the force of a Peregrine Falcon diving at a small rabbit.

Born the son of a hunter and a scholar, Draiyne Thraydrell grew up either hunting game with his father or learning history from his mother. When he was just 13, Thraydrell's parents were executed by the World Government for asking the questions that are not to be asked. They sought the truth behind the Void Century, not unlike the doomed scholars of Ohara. Ever since then, he has dedicated his life to continuing the search. Although the young archer isn't a scholar himself, he takes any job he can get that allows himself to accompany those that are brave enough to seek the truth that the World Government hides
