LEONARD LECLERC & ANGELO SORES
ACT I SCENE II-BECOMING PIRATES! ENTER THE DRAGON!-
Sword, fist and hammer clashed as the three men shouted, as if to the heavens themselves. This was the final push and all three knew it.
“I’VE HAD IT WITH YOU PUNKS!!!” Roared Jolnir as he swung his twin hammers in big arcs at the two upstarts.
The two barely managed to block and dodge the swings as they shouted back.
“RIGHT BACK AT YOU!”
“SAME HERE YOU BASTARD!”
“ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” The twin hammers came down as if one aimed right between the two young men, aimed at causing a blast powerful enough to knock the two of their feet to finish them off.
Leonard rolled forward and to his left, sheathing his sword as aimed himself under the hammers and into ultra close range of Jolnir.Full Moon Style
“Mangetsu-ryuu:”
Simultaneously Angelo leapt to his right and above the hammers, the two men moving in tandem in an X formation to either side of the Marine who was carried by the momentum of his weapons.Way of the Dragon
“Ryudou:”
The two took position on opposite sides of the hammer swinging bear, and unleashed their most powerful attacks at both sides of the man’s head simultaneously. Leonard with a powerful lightning speed drawn slash and Angelo with a mighty punch containing all his internal strength.Moonlight
“GEKOU!!!”Dragon Fist
“RYUKEN”
The two attacks impacted the sides of Jolnir’s head as the hammers hit the floor. The entire force of the exchange going through the Marine Captain and into the building itself.
Before Leonard or Angelo could regain their footing or Jolnir even realized what had happened the holding room’s floor begane to crack and collapse onto the floor below.
“What the!?”
“Shit!”
The sound of the collapsing room echoed throughout the base like an avalanche on a mountainside.
Smoke and dust flow into the air as the rubble hit the lower floor along with the three men. And then… there was silence.
At least for a few moments before the sound of grunting and coughing pierced through it.
“*cough* Uuuurgh… this is gonna bruise… *cough* *cough*... Angelo! You alive?” Leonard struggled to get out as he attempted to lift himself out of some broken concrete. He was absolutely going to take some time off after this, not fighting or sailing for a week or so, just food and sleep. Every muscle and bone in his body was hurting at that moment.
“Hrmmmmmm… *cough* Yeah… somehow…” grumbled back Angelo as he stood up on shaking legs. The blond man’s vision was somewhat blurred and not just from the dust, perhaps he had hit his head… or at least harder than it had originally been hit.
The martial artist quickly began to look around frantically trying to locate Jolnir. Where had that bastard gone?
It was the sight of Leonard, now up on his feet and looking down at something on the ground under some rubble that made Angelo move.
Sure enough, there he was, Rolo M. Jolnir, Marine Captain of the Karate Island base, broken and passed out, the clear mark of injuries from the pair’s last attacks on the man’s face.
Angelo fell back in a sitting position. “I can’t believe it… we did it.”
A part of Leonard shared his companion’s disbelief and wanting to just let himself drop with exhaustion. But it wasn’t time yet.
“We can’t stop yet.” Leonard squatted and began to rummage through the Captain’s pockets until he finally found a set of keys. “We need to find his quarters before enough of his men decide to take their chances with us.”
Angelo absentmindedly nodded. That’s right, there was still a plan to follow through. They would be able to rest later.
“I would also rather we find my penguin. Don’t want to leave him alone too long, who knows what kind of dumb stunts he’ll try.” The swordsman added, only half joking as he began to scramble over the rubble and back to more solid footing in a hallway.
“Yeah, because the penguin is definitely the reckless one here.” Angelo added, almost letting a smile slip.
“I’m glad you understand the group dynamic. Brandon can be abso-” Leonard was cut off as a small group of Marines ran into sight from around a corner, alerted by the sound the crashing battle had caused.
The two escapees just stared unblinking at what appeared to be simple recruits. The recruits eyed both the injured and bloodied youths and their commanding officer beaten on the ground. No doubt they were weighing their chances against the men who had just beaten a man they knew the ferocity of. Perhaps wisely, the marine recruits chose a tactical retreat.
“Let’s keep going before they change their minds.” Leonard said as he began to half walk half limp towards some more god damned stairs. Why were there so many stairs?
Angelo nodded and just followed, what else was there for him now but to follow this mad man. At least the future certainly seemed interesting now.Angelo: 00b4ecJolnir: 812525
