Personality
-- Kindly. Despite being a thief Newton is actually a very kind guy. He dislikes violence or harming others only ever resorting to such actions in self-defense or in the defense of others. The boy dislikes people who are mean spirited or violent. It's not rare to see Newton going as far as making sure even his enemies receive medical attention for their injuries.
-- Caring. Newton cares deeply for his family and by extension anyone he considers a friend of his. This shows in his willingness to steal to feed his family. To him, theft was just a means to an end. The end is the ability to feed his starving family and himself. Alongside his care, Newton has a knack for putting himself in other people's shows being able to display extreme empathy and often being brought to tears after being told a sad story.
-- Street Smart. Despite being a young kindly boy Newton isn't naive. He isn't a foolish idiot. Quite the contrary, the hardships he has had in his life have given him great wisdom which he expresses in his ability to easily detect lies or see-through shams. He, for the most part, can't be fast talked.
-- Patient. A virtue gained through caring for sheep. Long arduous hours of learning to herd sheep have caused the boy to developed unwavering patience! This by far is his greatest strength.
-- Bad Liar. Newton can tell a lie! But boy is he VERY bad at it. Seeing as five seconds later he'll spit the truth. This makes him terrible when it comes to fooling others... something you'd think a thief would get the hang of.
-- Stubborn. Like the animal, his ancestors resembled Newton can be as stubborn as ram! Even when seeing the fault in his way it is very difficult to make him see otherwise. Likewise, it's very hard to convince him of something he is very adamant about. But eventually, with enough talk, he might mellow down and change his mind. Although he is unlikely to admit it instead saying he felt that way all along but was hiding it.
Appearance
-- Newton is a young man as such his face is smooth and free of wrinkles. His skin color is an olive tone like those found in many countries of the Mediterranean. His blonde hair is curly and of a medium length reaching around his neck. His ears are floppy and sheep-like covered in yellow fleece similar in color to that of his blonde hair.
-- He also has a spiral-shaped goatee on his chin but lacks a proper mustache as he isn't able to grow a proper one. The boy also has small white horns on his forehead befitting a young ram. Probably one of his most defining features is his big blue eyes. It's usually one of the main things people notice before moving on to his horns.
-- In the clothing department Newton doesn't really have much. He usually wears a cream-colored hoodie with baggy genie pants held up by a rope. For the most part, Newton prefers to go around barefoot but when he does put on shoes it's usually something simple like sandals.

Background
Newton was born in the South Blue more specifically on the island of Zarzara! A small mostly desert island that has an oasis in the very center which has flourished a wondrous city of jewels and expensive clothes. Newton's family was one of the shepherds who tended to sheep on the outskirts of the oasis. For the most part, they lived a simple and happy life tending to the docile animals as well as creating woolen products to sell in the merchant district of Zarzara. This however changed for poor old Newton! As his father the family's main caretaker mysteriously disappeared when the boy was only eleven leaving him behind with his mother, aunt, and siblings. Without their father around tending sheep became more difficult and as such the family was not able to produce as much to keep themselves afloat like before.
The young man couldn't bear to see his family struggle the way they did. Often Newton would go for days without food giving his portion away to a little brother o sister to eat. On one of these days, he happened to be in the city where he found an odd bad tasting fruit in a dumpster. This odd fruit ended up giving him the powers of a chameleon a rather sneaky creature. Noticing his family couldn't continue in this state for any longer he turned to the streets to steal. Tending sheep by day and stealing by night!
Newton would rob jewelry and expensive clothes to later sell them for a profit of his own. This allowed him to feed his family as well as himself! It was a shameful thing to steal! Newton would feel guilty after every theft he made. But at the same time, none of the wealthy merchants in the city cared what happened to him and his family. Besides... aren't merchants thieves too? Those thoughts filled his mind to help him justify his actions. So he continued doing what he did! Lying to his mother telling her the money came from a job he'd gotten working with a local silk merchant. He could never reveal the truth to his family. The truth of where the money that fed them came.
