As the young musician reached the natural end of her wordless tirade of an explanation, she merely glared at the tanned swordsman as he attempted to translate her equivalent to senseless rambling. Giant flying clam? Storm? The heck is he talking about? That's not what I said at all. As the young skypean was about to start once again to try and re-explain herself, Yata cleared his throat, which in turn caused the girl to tense up as it never meant anything good. The teenage then beamed as the god guard senior seemed to be willing to at least somewhat believe the story, even if it was a complete fantasy. Well at lease the one she told.
She then sighed as the take of covering damages came up, taking a deep breath as if ready to spew forth a stream of words only to stop herself as Fite grinned and spoke up. The musician focused her gaze on the half-naked Kite, still not quite sure whether she could trust him or not. He did seem ready to accept the fact that he or rather the whole motley crew of them was being stuck with things only one of them seemed to really have any control over. Gen seemed completely content to let Kite do all the talk, or maybe he was just confused given the rather quizzical look he had on his face. And Tyr just seemed rather nonchalant and unbothered like the situation, like he was ready whether this turned into a brawl or a celebration.
As the guitarist mused about her newly found companion, she was brought out of her thoughts as Yata stepped forward to get right in Kite's face. The teenager looked a bit worried as he poked at the swordsman's chest, hoping that Kite was the type to be easily provoked. As the elder guard looked at her, she stood straight up, smiling nervously at him as his features seemed to soften once more. She then rolled her eyes at the mention of those pirates that helped to deal with their previous ruler, thinking that they sure got talked up quite a bit. As the three made their promise to help clean up and whatever else, Corinna looked to the younger guard that spoke out to her as people began clearing the rubble. The dread-filled expression that followed made it pretty clear that the young musician was in a heap of trouble.
So instead of doing as she was told she tried to join over next to Kite, Tyr, and Gen, moving rubble and stones as they did or whatever they needed help on as she did not want to face her father at the moment. As they did, The skypean once again looked between Gen and the other shandorans present, now confirming what she had thought earlier on the beach. She had hoped to ask about it later before turning her gaze to Kite, in particular the scars on his back. She tried not to stare for too long but she couldn't help it. Teenage curiosity had the best of her.
