Ryu was on his small one man boat as he was trying to reach a island before it become bad weather cause if he looked out towards the skys he could see a storm brewing up like something force. He paddled and paddled but to no luck and he still managed to get stuck in the middle of that storm, it rocked his small ship back and forth as the waves crashed up against the sides. Out of no where a large wave bigger then them all smashed in to ryu's boat and broke it up in to small pieces so now he had to try and swim to a near by island before he drowned in these fierce waves. 

But no matter how far he swam the waves just continued to knock him back or down under and it was not long before he fell unconscious and sank down in to the water. He was not sure how long he had been out for or where he even was but when he opened up his eyes the storm had passed away and the sun was shinning bright, he got up as he coughed up some water out of his lungs and what he saw he could not fathom. Every where he looked all he could see was trash and junk piled up as high as he could see and for ass far as his sight would let him. 

Ryu saw a man walking by so he stopped him real quick and asked him where he was. " Sir just where might i be, my ship crashed out at sea and i washed ashore and have no idea where i am." The man looked at ryu up and down like he was seeing all that he had on him but then decided to tell him but ryu was gonna keep a eye on him.

" You seem far from home Samurai this here is junk Island in the Grey Terminal which resides on Goa Kingdom. But if your looking for food or water your out of luck around here its all about survival and we barely have enough to feed our selfs or have water."

With that the man walked away but at the same time continuing to turn around and stare at ryu, he had heard of Goa Kingdom before it was where a legend of the maines lives and where Monkey D Luffy once called his home before sailing out to see to become a great pirate. Once day he had hopes to become a pirate that is as great as he is. For now he needed to find some food and water cause he was thirsty and hungry and even better it would be great if he could find some Saki tho water would work also. 

He could not stop thinking about what that man said, the people around here was having to survive and so he looked over to see a large wall keeping people out of the city and he could see why now, they must have seen those people as the trash which they tossed out and did not want to get there city dirty, people like that made ryu mad and why he preferred being a pirate.

Sitting on the wall that hid the scum of this society sat the one known as Finn. He sat here casually as he took in the noxious aroma of this hell hole that was known as 'Grey Terminal'. A rather suitable name with the unsightly décor of the environment, it had the influence to suck the happiness out of anyone that did not have the sufficient willpower to survive. Azaru came here to observe the surroundings himself after hearing the rumors of this place, he had to see it for himself and quite frankly, it was even worse than what he heard. What struck him first was the smell. Oh that putrid; vile smell. It was the odor that no doubt belonged in terrible war. The stench of the unburied dead mixed together with the feces and urine of those that lived here would make anyone vomit. But the Fishman had an iron resolve. It was one of the places he planned to make better somehow. He was amazed at how humans treated especially each other just because they are of a different class or hold some sort of privilege in their society. It was a sad reality, a reality he knew he had to change...somehow.


His eyes continued with their surveillance of this place; checking to see especially of a foreigner like himself who still had to will to live. The heavy rains and gusty winds could not inhibit his sight. He welcomed the shower of rain upon his blue skin. His gaze descended upon a lone figure that slowly drifted from the surf and slowly made its way out of the water on his back and eventually washed ashore. He could see the man's chest rise and fall gently so Finn knew he was alive and maybe just passed out from exhaustion and with that Finn too fell asleep upon the thick wall as he always does.

As morning approached, Finn woke up and saw that the man was still there. Strangely, it was not a man at all, not human at least. For his appearance was that of a tiger. A mink; of course, but where did he come from? Finn decided he would observe some more then intervene. He saw him speak with a human who took two takes at the man before running off fully. It was at this point, Azaru decided to meet this Mink. Azaru picked up his large canvas bag and jumped from the top of the wall and walked until he was within ear shot of this man.

"Oh? Well would you look at that. Old Mink boy here got washed up on one of the worst possible places." said Azaru as he gestured with his left hand about his environment. "Welcome to Grey Terminal." he continued sarcastically with a grin that anyone would be unsure if it were friendly or not.

After he had spoke with the old man ryu looked around at where he was and could not believe the sight he was looking at. People was making homes under the piles of garbage and whole family's was picking though trash just so they could feed there kids and there selfs. As he was looking around he noticed a fish man walk closer to him from one side where there was a large gray wall, he told him that he landed in the worst area possible then told him it was the grey terminal. Ryu walked closer to the fish man as he had a grin on his face, he had not meet many fish men and the only on he did was a man named kratos and he was not very nice so he hoped that this fish man was different.

 Ryu has long black hair which he keeps tied up into a ponytail and his eyes is a ruby red with cat shaped pupils. Ryu looks a lot like a human but you can tell there is a lot of mink in him two, he has three black marks going across the side of his face like whiskers. and He also has the same markings on his midsection, arms and legs, he has black fur on the top of his hands as well as his feet. He has a red Beard that goes from the corner of his mouth down his chin. He wears a red kimono with black flames on it. Ryu has a scar which runs across the bridge of his nose, as well as a small scar running down the right side of his chin. He Carry's two swords on his side. The first was has a black sheath with small white stars that chain together, the handle is red and the hilt guard is shaped liked a x, the second one has a white sheath with black thunder strikes going down it, the hilt guard is shaped like a figure eight and the handle is also red.

" Thanks stranger i do not think i caught your name im Ryu..Ryu Meramusa. Im a pirate you see and my ship got destroyed in last nights storm which is a bummer but i can do for now. But why is people having to live like this, from what i can see there is forrest towards one way and a city the other so it makes so sense that they be having to live like rats."

Ryu asked  as he reached in to his kimono and grabbed his peace pipe and packed it with cat nip before taking a large puff then letting out all that smoke in one big exhale in to the air.

"Oh? A pirate, well that's good. Truth be told, I'm one as well. Don't have a crew yet though." said Azaru thoughtfully and that is when he took another look at Ryu and realized he didn't say his name. Also, the man looked like he had seen better days. So he started to rummage in the large sack on his back and took out some fruit and a sealed bamboo joint filled with water and handed it to Ryu. "Here take these cause youre gonna need your strength. If you're interested, we can find out just what the hell is going on here." he said placing the food and drink on a rock that was between them both.


Azaru could not tell what came over him to offer this stranger food to eat and water to drink and to even invite him to join him in exploring here. Maybe he just thought it was the right thing to do. Or perhaps Azaru found himself seeing something in this person that he respected. It made no sense to him right now. Right now however, he needed to get some more information on this place as he originally intended and if Ryu was the one to accompany him then so be it. Azaru took out his own bamboo joint and his own food and sat down and started to wolf down what he had in a matter of seconds, took out another one and wolfed down that one too. As he ate, he realized that there were a few men looking at them both from about ten meters off. The vibe the Fishman was getting was that these men were up to no good at all towards them. Azaru wasn't in the mood for a quarrel or a fight, but he was damn sure he was not allowing anyone or anything to take advantage of him.

As Ryu was smoking on his pipe the fish man pulled out some food and water and placed it in front of him on top of a rock, as he did ryu gut started growling like a beast so when he was offered the food ryu did not hisitate to start eating the food. He eat the food so fast in fact that the food got stuck in his throat and he started looking around for the water as he was pounding on his chest. Once he found the water he slugged it down which let the food go down. 

" Ahhhh thank you so much, that was very much needed. I had not eat any thing the last few days so i was getting hungry." 

As he was busy eating he heard the fish man say that he also was a pirate but said that he did not have a crew yet, ryu wondered if he to was trying to become a captain or if he would be willing to join his. He did not wish to ask that just yet cause he saw it rude to ask a question like that after a person just got done helping him out. But the man asked him if he would like to help him find out what was wrong with this place and ryu was surprised that there was more pirates like him self who actually cared about people even tho they was pirates. 

" I would be glad to help you out, its really a shame that human life could be taken so lightly or any life really, every one has feelings. Every one can feel, and every one can get hungry but the rich can never understand that with the ass load of food and clean water they have. "

Ryu said but while he was talking he noticed that there was some people standing a little ways away and even from where he was standing he could feel there anger and hostility towards the two of them but he was getting tired of looking at there faces. 

" HEY YOU BASTARDS GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE." 

Ryu yelled at them as he had a fierce look on his face, he would probably scare his self away if he could see his self, just then the guys who was standing a little ways away ran off in terror from the two of them. 

" Thats better those people was getting on my nerves the way they was looking at us." Ryu said as he was grinning as he was puffing on his pipe.

Azaru rolled his eyes as the cowards decided to run with just the fact that Ryu raised his voice. But he noticed that they were the riff raff and had little courage and another one stood there with his arms folded and he smirked at the two. He was tall and bulky with a large beard and a great bisento and draped across his shoulders and both arms hanging over the length of the weapon. He had a white beard that was long down to his chest and it was in a circle shape and puffy like a white afro. Upon his waist was a black sash and his pants were yellow nd his shoes were pointing upwards. On his large chest as hairy and his large belly was smooth and shiny. Strangely, his hair was completely fire red and looked like a lion's mane and his eyes were of the same color. 

"Oye! Assholes! Who the hell are you shouting at?! Those are my men! It looks like im gonaa have to smack the hell outta you too"

"Well slap me and call me susan. Ryu, looks like Captain Friendly here wants to dance." 

Azaru grinned wickedly as he cracked his knuckles and prepared for a fight. He had no idea how Ryu fights but in the meanwhile, he would do his best to kick this man's ass. The man started walking towards them while twirling his massive axe like a baton. By this time, people started to draw close and notice what was going down. It was at this point, that Azaru realized he did not know how these people felt about him being fish man or if they even cared at all. Or even if mink boy Ryu over there; what would their reaction be if any at all?

Ryu looked on as the few men that ran off cause he yelled at them, but there was one large man that had a long axe over his shoulders stayed behind and did not seem all to happy that ryu had yelled at his men. In fact he even said so as he started to make his way towards ryu and the fish man, ryu tho could not bealive that this was gonna happen just cause he yelled at people for giving off dagger in the back looks, but if this was what was gonna happen then so be it. Ryu heard the fish man say something about oh snap he wanted to fight, and that did seem like that was gonna happen.

As they was getting ready for this fight a crowed of people began to gather around them to see what all the noise was about, as they made there way around them ryu noticed that the fish mans attention went from the fat man to the crowed around them. Ryu could understand this cause being a fish man people even in todays world people was not very understanding of races that was not of there own and this made ryu mad. Just then ryu noticed that while the fish man was paying his attention some where else the large fat man decided that he would take advantage of this and swung his large axe down towards his head but using his cat like reflexes and fast speed ryu was now standing in front of the fat man as he had drawn out both of his swords and blocked the in coming attack with ease. 

" What is your problem fat man, have you never heard to give a person a chance to fight back and to not attack them when they are not looking you bastard." Ryu was now mad so he pushed up on his swords as he pushed the fat man up and on to his ass just using his per strength. " Hey fish man, stop wondering about the crowed if they get involved then we will deal with it but for now we need to pay attention to the fat man with the axe. ryu said as he looked back to the man on his ass as he had a puzzled look on his face.

The Red Lion as the man was known as, was born in these seas as a normal child. He turned to being a bandit at the age of ten when he was forced to by the people he was living with. His adopted family went out at night to rob unsuspecting people coming to Mount Colubo to camp or in an expedition. Expeditions were risky because they had arms guards protecting them but the reward was far greater than anything. He did not know who his parents were but he and those around him quickly realized he was going to be a large human who would be useful to the bandit gang someday. As time passed, he took over the bandit group and renamed it to the Red Lion bandit group. As it grew in number, he decided to get a boat and start his pirate career. At this stage, he was about to enter into the Grand Line and decided to make a stop at Dawn Island first to pick up some supplies when he saw this guy yelled at his men who he plans on gunning down for their cowardice. 


After getting knocked down on his ass, the man smiled. It had been a while since someone did this to him and he quickly sprang back up on his legs again and started swinging the axe.

"I'm not gonna let a couple of dweebs get away for raising their voice at my men. Then too, I hear on the Grand Line folks like you sell for a bargain on the slave market. I plan to beat you both into submission and then cash in! Hahahaha!"

It was at this point, something snapped in Azaru as the man spoke about slavery and about his intention to enslave them both. All of a sudden the Fish Man started to roar in anger that made the Red Lion's eyes squint in hate and anger mixed with excitement. 

"Oh you're a lively one. I'm gonna get good money for both you chumps. Hahahaha."

The Red Lion attacked them both by swinging his axe in a large arc in an attempt to cleave them into two.

Ryu could tell by just looking at this huge bulk of a man that he was not normal and his size showed Ryu that he was any thing but weak. He looked at the man's large axe and could tell that it had some weight behind it so he would need to avoid clashing if he did not need to cause he did not need to have his swords broken.

The big guy got back up on to his feet and started laughing as he spoke of selling the two of them at the grand line for slaves. Ryu could not believe that people could even stand doing that it made him so mad that he did not see the axe in time to raise his swords so he just reached up and grabbed the axe with his hand. It cut his hand some as you could see so.e blood dripping from his hand.

" Slaves...really. People are not objects that people can just buy and sell as they please. People have lives dreams and do not need your kind trying to make some easy money in human flesh. So get the hell out of my sight you piece of shit." Slavery was a big trigger for ryu but mostly cause his kind was use to being sold just like the fish men and so he knew there pain. And what they went though. While still holding on to the guys axe ryu thrust,ed his sword in to the big guys shoulder that sent him flying back about 20 feet. 

Ryu reached down with his hand and offered to help azuma back onto his feet cause if they was gonna beat the big guy they was gonna have to work together.

The moment that Red Lion decided to utter those words; the words of his intention to enslave Ryu who was of Mink heritage and himself who was a fish man, whose entire life was at a risk because of slavery, anger over took Azaru like a demon would possess a body. So much so that he semi passed out and Ryu had to defend him from the wide arc of the axe. When Ryu was cut by actually grabbing the axe with his bare hands literally, it woke up Azaru completely, just in time to see Ryu thrust his sword into the fat red haired man's shoulder with great ferocity that even Azaru did not expect. As the man landed; battered and bleeding from Ryu's attacks, he surprisingly sprang to his feet yet again. But by this time the fish man also wanted to show this monster his pure physical strength. So as the man reached for his axe to make a move; Azaru also known as 'Finn' dashed towards him thunderously at full speed, the 20 feet Ryu's attack sent him and used every ounce of his strength as he grabbed the man by his face and began to squeeze his cheeks with his large finned hand. The man with the red hair; his nose, upper lip and part of his left eye were covered by the powerful grip of Azaru. At this time the Fishman continued to squeeze harder.

"You're dead." were the only words Azaru could muster from all that anger. There was literally nothing to be said to such trash. He looked over his shoulder at Ryu as if wanting to confirm the execution of this slaver. "Ryu...just say the word..." seethed Azaru trying his best to speak calmly to Ryu under all this anger, "...does he live...or die..." For all of his life, it was as if he was getting stronger for moments like these. He did not care to see this man alive for his cruel intentions. Oh how many people has this man already sold into slavery. Both Ryu's people and his. 

"Live...or..die?" said the Red haired man who struggled to breathe from the pain and from the fact that Azaru had already crushed his nose bridge. "Kill...me...and my *cough cough cough* Captain will hunt...you both...down like dogs!"

After the large man was sent flying a good distance he watched as azuma rushed over to where the big man was and grabbed a hold of the pirates face and he started to squeeze his face until ryu could hear the breaking of bones. " Thats enough Azuma, we do not kill people no matter what...instead I shall let you beat him until he passes out. But before that I wish to know about his captain cause this whole time I thought he was the captain. " Ryu said as he walked over to where the two men was as he placed the tip of his sword against the large man's neck. " ahhhhhh we must save our comrade" looking up ryu saw that there was about 10 lower ranking crew members running towards them so ryu took his second sword and he swung it sending out a blue energy slash which cut down the 10 men tho not bad enough to kill them I stead he lowered his power when he fired the way so it would knock them out in pain. " now where were we." He said as he looked back down at the beat up man.

Now that Ryu had gotten rid of the riff raff, it was time to make this man talk. He would listen to Ryu for now, because there really was no reason for this one to die. However he knew these types; the types who would not talk until they were persuaded to do so. The Fishman already had the man bloody and bruised but kept his grip on the man's face and squeezed.

"As you can already tell, I'm not one to play games. Where is your Captain?" hissed Azaru as he continued to maintain the force of the grip. He wondered back as to how this whole situation escalated pretty quickly from one set of people shouting at the other and another set of people not willing to take that kind of disrespect. However, that is what the typical eye would see; for Azaru saw a deeper meaning. He saw a man who exposed the dealings of his crew which was a huge mistake on his part. Because Azaru detested slavery and his comrade did as well and he had to take down this smuggling ring, he just had to. Azaru felt the blood squishing in the man's face as he looked at his victim casually until he decided to talk.

"Alright! I don't wanna die...for that man. But...please...don't tell him I told you...ok?" pleaded the once fierce red haired man. After Azaru nodded; he did not care if Ryu told anyone or not and they killed this man, Azaru just dropped him there and turned to Ryu.

"Well, it looks like we're heading to the mountains. That piece of crap slaver is there. You can come with me if you wanted to stop this monster." said Azaru calmly as he made his way towards the pirates' hideout in the hills of the Goa Kingdom.

Ryu sheathed his sword as he could see the true color of this pirate, he was nothing more then a coward who did not know his place in this cruel world they all lived in. His fish man friend managed to find out where the slavers captain was which was some where in the mountains of goa kingdom. Ryu reached into his kimono and he pulled out his peace pipe,he reached back into his robes and as he pulled out his hand he had a bag of catnip. Using his claws ryu lit his pipe then pulled in a throat full of smoke before he blew out the smoke.

" sounds nice to be not only do we get to go on a adventure but I get to beat some more people up."

Ryu would say as he was smiling from ear to ear. So seeing that his new friend was heading into the forest he followed behind him as they made there way towards the slavers hide out. But the slavers was not the only ones that they would need to watch out for cause from what he overheard was that a bunch of bandits also took home in these woods.
