Merle Post #20
She watched wide eyed and amazed as the scene played out before her. Before her and at her call Kano paused and looked over towards her. There was a flicker of something in his eye when she looked at him. Their eyes met for a moment and then it looked as if a smile was growing across his face before he dropped. Not hit or anything, the fool, her companion actually collapsed on the spot crashing into the ground a heap.
Merle's eyes bulged and she was filled with mixed emotions. Horror, then relief as she saw the soft rise and fall of his body upon the ground. The fool was still breathing at the least. And then laughter, it spewed from her for a few moments as about her other things continued. Beside her the 'Big Sis' was talking with her friends apparently untroubled by the obvious lack of an arm she was now facing.
For her part Merle staggered over as best she could. Her arms trailed at her side and her body balanced itself precariously over her legs. But she walked nonetheless towards Kano. Her feet pressed soft against the pavement listening to the Big Sis's friends talk as they did. As she got closer her eyes still locked on Kano's unconscious form she noticed a change in the 'Big Sis''s form and suddenly she was falling backwards. Crashing onto the ground not too far away from where Kano lay.
The fishwoman paused at that, now staring at the two folk laying upon the ground. She took in a breath and ten let it out. Weirdos ... The thought sparked laughter from her which she stifled as best as she could.
The other group of folk seemed to be deciding to leave. She looked towards Kano as he lay, the fool was resting unconscious upon the ground. Her own condition was better though not by much. So she reckoned the fool wouldn't mind if she asked.
She turned towards the one who'd tried to stop her from moving about before. Hopefully it worked out. "Excuse me, Lecter was it? Do you mind if the fiery idiot and I tag along? At least until we're in a bit of better shape."
