Pluto - 31The younger sister of Pluto froze stiff as the sudden dark tone of her brother. She felt this before – this seed of darkness. Was it going to bloom once more? The feeling of rage and sadness intermingling in his heart, she could not see it as evil for it was rooted in a form of love, yet this side to him that rarely shows up only grows stronger each time. The horrors he had to see. The heart-numbing choices he had to make. And the fear of loss that haunted him every day. Just how long must he suffer, she thought.
“No, it doesn’t matter,” he closed his eyes. “I understand now. The people at home do not welcome us. The underworld do not welcome us. The World Government do not welcome us. And by extension, the marines do not welcome us. Only the Revolutionary Army has welcomed us with open arms. Only they have given us a sense of belonging.”
The gunshots had halted the moment the Vice Admiral bolted towards his prey at blinding speed, utilizing his vector arrow beneath his feet to cast a burst of force.
I don’t like the feeling of this. I feel as if I must eliminate him right now or something bad will happen.
Hand cloaked in a mystical bluish-green aura, the high-ranking officier unleashed a repelling punch which was caught barehanded by the winged boy. Upon collision, a shockwave erupted from the point of contact, releaseing a wave of force that rendered the surrounding soldiers to be blown away.
Pluto’s wings had reverted back to their original state, folded up and unused at his rear. His outstretched hand blocked the force with his open palm as he diverted the power down towards the back of his heel and into the ground. His free hand supported Rebecca’s weight, pressing her close to his body in a secure manner.
"One twenty... Centimani!" The man growled as the aura suddenly climbed onto the boy’s arm. The legendary strength of over a hundred men, the energy that would tug, warp, and contort anything it touches with a violent, chaotic manner.
“Kagenori…, are you insulting me?” Pluto hissed with his teeth clenched. His stern, ruthless eyes glaring straight into the man’s face. “Haah…!” He exhaled. His outstretched arm turned pitched black beneath the glowing light until suddenly, the energy that confined his limb ruptured outwards as an explosive power repeled the officer’s limb to fly backwards behind his body.
An aghasted expression manifested on the Vice Admiral’s face as his technique was mysteriously nullified.
His Haki… is getting stronger.
“!” Suddenly, he lost sight of his target, quickly shifting his glance towards his flank. In the distance, he caught sight of Black Wing once again, approaching that Revolutioanry girl – Ara. He couldn’t help but notice the silent speed at play. It was different than the Soru technique. It was smoother, quieter, and more precise, a kind of technique that would benefit an assassin.
Meanwhile, Ara watched as the zoan-user lowered his sister down and gently nudging the little on towards her, “Pluto…” She was at a loss for words, having not seen him for the past few days. But, she could tell that he was furious from simply looking at her. He wasn’t mad at her. He was enraged at the sight of her wounds, tattered clothing, and blood. That part wasn’t unprescedented, but never had she witnessed him up against the marines so upfront and direct like this.
SWISH!
Cling! Ara found her handcuffs falling off her wrists. The steel that confined her had been sliced.
“Ara. Rebecca. Please, get as far away as possible. It’s not safe here,” he pleaded with them while walking away.
“Pluto! You too! Come with us,” Ara raised her voice, wanting him to run away together with her.
“The marines will just chase us. But, I’m not telling you to run away from them,” he vanished.
His warning puzzled her at first. Those words sounded kind at first; anyone would have interpreted that to mean run away from the marines.
Pluto had flashed over, positioning himself dead center at the marine forces where all of the soldiers had him perfectly surrounded from the sheer convinence of his spot. The soldiers could only perceive this as the most disadvantageous position he could possibly place himself in. They readied their weapons. Many charged forth. The Vice Admiral stood at a distance as he utilized his vector arrows to hurl giant boulders to fly through the air like meteors, raining towards the zoan-user.Razor Form
The bat-human entered a special state that transcended the basic three forms of a zoan-type power. The black claws of his hands, feet, and wings were elongated and sharpened like the blades of long knives. It appeared like spikes had protruded throughout his extremeties, giving him a lethal appearance.
Splaying out his wings, the boy took on what could only be called a certain stance. His wings were angled in a particular manner, one slanted upwards as the other slanted downwards. His weight was leaned towards his front leg. His arms held loosely at chest height.
“T-That stance!” exclaimed Ara with widened eyes, lowered jaw, and raised brows. To make matters worse, he planned to use that technique while in Razor Form.
“Eh!?” Rebecca recognized her brother’s stance as well. It was a preparational stance for something utterly disatrous. She had witnessed it before at the underwater island, Blue Lagoon, the natural disaster that wiped out an entire army. But she had a sinking suspicion that this time, it would be far more devastating then before.
“Miu! We need to get away!” Ara snatched Rebecca’s wrist as she sprinted away. She understood now. He never met to have them run away from the marines. He wanted them to run away from him, personally.“Coiling Dragon!”
A dangerous level of rotational speed generated from the pivot of his stance. Pluto sprun around. Like the blades of an electronic fan, his slanted wings spun along like a pinwheel, unleashing a powerful uplifting vortex that completely engulfed his enemies.
A tornado!
Hundreds of meters of distance covered in length and height, the winds suddenly warped the surroundings. Trees were uprooted from the earth. Rooftops crumbled with riles ripped out of their spots. And above all else, hundreds of soldiers were caught right in the worst zone to stand in as their corpses were spinning around and around while rising skywards. Their screams of fright were muffled by the roaring, raging winds. Their flesh sliced and diced by a myraid of slicing blades of air that was intermixed with the massive twister. Blood spilled out. Limbs severed off.
“Arugh!” The Vice Admiral, found himself dragged in by the vicious vortex. Slashes cleaved into his body, forcing him to cover his entire body from head to toe in Busoshoku Haki, a full body armor as he endured the relentless thrashing.
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS!?Miu - 31Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
Ara leaped to the side as soon as one of the explosions erupted towards her, evading the range assaults altogether.
Not good. I’m too weakened to fight.
The kitten leaped off and morphed in her human form with golden cat-like eyes, a pair of triangular ears, and long, twin tails. “Ara, I’ll handle them. Don’t strain yourself.”
The jingling sound of metal sounded as various strands of chains reached out the coil and constrict the cat-girl’s limbs and torso. “Too easy,” Jezabela held out a hand with chains extending out from her fingertips.
“Hm? What’s this?” Miu looked at her constricted body innocently. “Chains? Hm… this woman is a Devil Fruit user?” She could feel these taut steel appendages tugging against her as if they had a mind of their own.
Blue flames enveloped her body as her eyes turned cold, “Hey… I smell Ara and Rebecca’s scent on you. You’re the one who hurt them, didn’t you?”
“Oh my, that’s quite a nose you have there,” the blonde agent smirked. “Eh?” Her expression quickly changed the instant she realized that the chains around this brunette’s body was melting, becoming molten goo. The heat conducted through the metal until she felt her fingers being burned by the heat. “Tsk!” She quickly detached herself from the chains as the girl’s confinement fell towards the ground. “Those flames are quite hot – much hotter than ordinary fire.”
“Hm?” Her eyes widened at the sight of the catgirl suddenly being a few strides away. “Soru!” She vanished, leaving Miu to come to a halt. “Nya-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho! Too slow, little kitten.”
Bsst! The female agent reappeared behind the mythical cat-human, “Shigan!” She readied her finger pistol to pierce her target.
SLAM!
Suddenly, an unexpected force rammed into the agent from her flank, hurling her into the side of a rocky formation. The impact led to a large crater casted against the surface. “Ugh!” She grimanced, glancing towards the cat-girl whose twin tails were now sevearl times longer and many times thicker, possessing greater size and power. It happened in an instant, but at the last moment, Miu’s tails had taken on the size from her animal form.
Miu shrugged playfully, “Everyone who disappears always likes to sneak up from behind.” She found it predictable that the woman would attempt to attack at her blindspot. “That being said,” she pointed a finger at the woman, “You seem awfully beaten up already. What happened to you?” It was clear as day that the blonde was not in her peak condition, looking as if she had just been ran over by a stampede of giant mauling tigers.
“Tch! None of your concern. I’m more than enough to handle a runt like you.”
Miu took enough two sniffs, “Hmm… I smell master’s scent on you. He must have done this to you, huh?”
“Rankyaku!” A crescent blade descended from above.
Miu’s ears perked up before body reflexively manuvered away before she even realized it. The range assault cleaved into the earth from the man who was hopping in the air as if there were invisible platforms above.
“Hm!? What you doing up there? Go bother Kite!” Miu pointed at the airborne man accusingly.
“My fight with him is over,” Leval blasted down a beam of ice
The blast of ice encased the cat-girl from above like an avalanche, but upon contact, steam erupted. “Eh!? You beat him already!?” Miu rose a brow; the natural cloak of flames around her body had melted the ice at a rapid rate, leaving her unfazed. “Nah! I think you’re just doing sloppy work,” she mused before suddenly shapeshifting into the form that looked just like Leval.
“You were all like…,” even her voice had changed to match the original. “You… The Gall! The… THE IMPUDENCE! SIDING WITH HER! WITH HIM! WITH ALL THE CRIMINAL SCUM! OH! Look at me! I’m a World Government Agent! I’m so self-conscious! I get mad at everything!” The fake Leval melodramatically made hand gestures as she continueously mocked the agent’s unhinged behavior.
“Hey… that’s a pretty good imitation,” Jezabela commented, having never liked Leval to begin with. She was also partly stunned that the cat was able to take on her comrade’s appearance so quickly and effortlessly. Was that part of her Devil Fruit power?
“HOW DARE YOU MAKE A MOCKERY OF ME! YOU DAMN CAT!” The real Leval dove straight down like a raging comet.
“Shooting Star!” Miu raised her hand up as she formed a fireball over her palm before the sphere subdivided themselves into smaller spheres that shot upwards in several rounds.
The diving speedster quickly zigzagged around each and every projectile through at him. Such a slow assault could not hope to land against him. But, by the time he slipped throught he barrage of spheres, he could no longer find his target down below.
Suddenly, a large shadow hovered over him, but just as he turned his gaze skywards, a massive paw came crashing down on top of him, swatting him into the earth below while simultaneously crushing him. Miu, who had returned to her original appearance, had partially transformed her right arm into the arm of her animal form. As her arm retracted back, shrinking into a human arm, her foe remained lying in the middle of a crater.
Suddenly, she heard Ara called out to her – to run. And suddenly, it became awfully windy as she turned her gaze deeper into the battlefield.
“EH!? I-Is that a tornado!?” Miu’s eyes popped out of her sockets. Even from the distance where she stood, she felt a powerful suction force that threatened to pull her off the ground and into the air.
Absolute destruction and death.
Who could possibly survive that? Those hundreds of soldiers who were caught in the midst of it had no chance of surviving. She questioned how the Vice Admiral would fare against something of that level.
“That’s one of Pluto’s strongest attack,” Ara informed as her long black hair was wavering with the wind.
“Waaah~!” Rebecca cowered into Ara’s arms. “My brother is really mad!”
“That thing is overkill!” Miu exclaimed.
S-Scary… if I get any closer, I might die.
“What the-?” Graves, who was just about to go cat-hunting, turned his attention towards the elephant in the room. It certainly looked that the Vice Admiral had his hands full at the moment to say the least.
