It was inevitable that she was going to run into trouble at some point. She was about 5 times the size of most the people who walked around her. Joan's beastly appearance didn't help, she kept her sharp eyes low but their piercing glow was obvious. The fangs were even harder to hide, she looked like a demon of some sort. It didn't help that the fledging pirate had no hat to cover her horns.
Joan would sigh, she hadn't found trouble yet but it would be soon. She wanted to form a crew, it was ambitious, but she thought it would be essential to further her craft as a fighter. The Marine's were too stuck up for her, plus she had no real interest in helping out a government that was mostly rude to her people. Her lip curled, she tried to avoid biting it, the government was frustrating, the military was, she didn't need to think about it.
Pirates didn't come to Loguetown, or at least they didn't come here if they were known. It would be hard to get out of here if she made a ruckus, with her size and power though she'd be able to take down a few people. That wasn't the point of this journey, it felt like could be inevitable with the death glares. Each and every person seemed weary of her, she wasn't a violent person. She scratched her rough skin, filing down her nails a little. It was hard to avoid any form of nervous twitching. Joan had no issue being herself, but she didn't wanna be kicked out before she could make any connections.
"Well time to find some rebels I guess" she grumbled to herself. Then her stomach grumbling to her, she needed to find some food before a crew. She looked in her wallet, she had enough Berry to feed herself for a bit, finding work was gonna be hard upon becoming a pirate too but this was her break out into the world, she'd spent her life training so she wasn't scared of fighting. If anything it excited her more to know she'd get to fight some strong people, it kind of made her want to cause trouble now.
Her fangs curling up in a smile, working on her craft sounded fun right now. No, that was too dangerous, she shook her head, Joan needed to get these ideas out of her head before she stuck someone to a wall. She didn't need to use her-
Food, she could smell it, it grabbed her noses attention. She knew where to go know, atleast in her first step in her quest, first food, then hopefully some friends.
