An Explosive Encounter! The Kaboom Human Appears!

A tall suit of armor strolled leisurely through the streets of Notice Town.  The heat, which had been relentless when Wolfric was outside of the armor, was a lot more tolerable inside of it using her Devil Fruit powers.  Two large greatswords were strapped to the armor's back as she glanced all around, taking in the city.

"Huh, reminds me of home a bit..."

Wolfric commented in a deep voice too full of menace for such a wistful remark.  Her Devil Fruit power had this weird quirk of changing her voice when she was possessing stuff.  She sounded way more threatening than she wanted to, but she'd sort of grown to accept it by now.  Wolfric glanced back for her crewmates, confused when she didn't see them.  Kobei was a slowpoke though...she shook her head.  Well, time to get something to eat!

Ducking into a bar so that she didn't hit her head on the doorframe, Wolfric walked up and sat heavily on one of the bar stools.  It made a weird sound and groaned a little when she twisted on it.  She leaned forward and waved to get the attention of the barkeep.  He walked over, looking a little cautiously at this conspicuous armored knight.

"Do you serve food here, pops?" she asked in a low aggressive tone.

The barkeep immediately tensed and glanced around at the bar at large.  Wolfric looked to see what he was looking at.  She didn't really see anyone out of the ordinary though.  She turned back to him as he nodded to her stiffly.

"Yes. I'll get you a menu.  Please wait a moment, sir."

At that, Wolfric span around in her seat, making the bar stool screech with agony, and leaned back against the bar.  What was taking those slowpokes anyway...?

It had been as of most recent after the events of Sedna that Ember had joined Wolfric's crew... they where pirates but seemed like a fine bunch willing to help others and thats what Ember stood for helping others! They also needed a doctor and Ember happened to fit that description perfectly. Kobie and Wolfric handn't been the only two friends he had made in the gloom of Sedna he had also made friends with a crow whom he named Familiar. Ember slowly walked toward the bar in long slow strides he was fairly lumbering and lacked a level of agility that Wolfric being a more average sized human had. Not to say Ember was slow... he could run fast but in a more lumbering fashion like an Elephant or Rhino it was more of a charge you could say.

The twelve foot man wearing nothing in his upperbody covered in tattos and with a black bird perched on his shoulder opened the door one fully ajar he gave the crowd inside a smile with his large square teeth. With his free hand he fiddle a bit with the end of his handlebar mustache. Everyone in the bar stared at him for a minute processing the inhumanly sized man entering before going back to normal.

Ember looked around the bar narrowing his eyes trying to find Wolfric. "Where could she be..." He said quitely before the crow squaked and flew over to Wolfric landing on her head. "Ah thanks Familiar!" Ember said he slowly walked over to Wolfric and sat next to her. "I made it! Now time to wait for the other one!" He snickered.

Mia had been in notice town for quite a while unlike these newcomers. Ever since dojo island had cast her out this had been her new home, and as such she'd wasted no time letting the actual locals know about it.  She'd gotten into a lot of fights already for various reasons, and while she was no island lord, and there was still the odd person who didn't know her face, those who did knew she probably wasn't someone you wanted to challenge. She was rough, and tough, and always made sure to stop her fights just before they got bloody. In part because she had no desire to kill an opponent, afterall it meant they couldn't ever live to be a better challenge for her, on the other, it meant none of her fights were serious enough for the marines to really intervene, letting her have her rambunctious lifestyle without worry.

"Bartender." Lifting her finger to catch his attention, Mia shook her empty glass side to side without a word and placed it back on the bar, resting her head on her arms and letting out a long sigh. Unlike the other man working the bar, the one Mia was addressed by was a titan of a man. Even dressed in smart attire to leave a good impression on the patrons, it was clear the fabrics were struggling to contain the mountain of a man he was. A patch over his left eye being the only thing out of place in his outfit, not matching the smart cuffed shirt, waistcoat, and bowtie all that well.

As he stepped over to fill her drink he gave a small smile through his white beard as he poured out the contents of a fresh bottle for her. "Not find a worthy fight yet lass?"

"Not as such nah..." Scooping up the filled glass, Mia felt the fresh coolness seep through it and into her palm. The moisture on the glass soaking her palm in a way that reminded her of her fruit. She swilled about the brown liquid before tipping her head back to down it, starting to feel the last two drinks finally start to reach her head. "Ain't no one on this island ready to take me on...I mean on the plus side no one will make too big a fuss if I grab an apple without payin', and anyone who does...well they won't be for long but-..."

"But it ain't quite what ya need. Aye lass?" He offered another smile as he cleaned out a glass, and Mia nodded quickly, her head feeling lighter, an almost sloshy sensation as she nodded so quickly, like the bear was actually resting in her skull.

"Is too right! Only dipshits who could make me feel that rush kicked me outta my own home! I'm almost tempted to piss off the marines just to see if one o' them is up to it..." Groaning as she lowered her head again, she ran her fingers back through her gold mane, eyes glossing over just a little as she sank into her grumbles. Her mouth opened to form another complaint when the sound of the floorboards creaking caught both their attention, Mia leaning back in her stool, eyes widening a little at the size of the fellas who were coming in...holy crud...

Mia took in their size, their weapons, the way the armored one spoke in such a fierce tone even asking such a simple question, his soon to follow comrade just holding an immense size of his own. To some of the other patrons it was maybe an intimidating sight, but to Mia...well. Suffice to say, she was grinning...

"Ooph..." Her light-head suddenly disturbed by a hand so large it could envelop half her head ruffling her hair, Mia glanced back to the bar's owner. The two of them sharing a brief smirk that traded a simple notion. 'Don't wreck the place'. Mia smirked and got up out of her chair, and as the second man came into the bar, Mia purposely forced herself to walk almost 'through' him. You couldn't just walk up to anyone and challenge 'em to a fight (though Mia might), Mia first had to at least gauge how fight-ready they might be. She pushed her arm into his as she walked past so the two heavily bumped as they passed, stopping and  turning her head over her shoulder to him, hands resting in her pockets.

"Oi! Watch where you're goin!~" Despite the size difference in the two, Mia had done her best to maintain a strong walk and not be disturbed by his own force.

Kobei had been wandering around town, stocking up while he could on the essentials for Captain Wolfric. He thought, based on their history, that the best chance they had at getting supplies was for him to do so alone before Wolfric stirred up trouble in this town just like every other town. I mean sure, it wasn't their fault... trouble is just drawn to them. Still, he managed to get some supplies, so it was time to meet Wolfric and their new friend at the bar.


Kobei was expecting the worst, to be honest. From the day they met, Wolfric's demeanor and refusal to back down has caused him some major troubles. They meant well, and they were good people. And at least Kobei's life was never boring... Ah! There it was! The Bar!

Just as Kobei arrived, though, he saw what looked to be a strong-willed woman bumping into his new Doctor friend. Large as he was, he didn't tend to cause trouble on his own or without reason, which meant this woman was looking for trouble. With a straight face, Kobei calmly walked over to Ember, past the woman who yelled at him to 'watch where he was going' as if not even noticing her and tapped his arm with the back of his fist.

Kobei was not short by any means, but compared to Ember, the hulking giant next to him, he was puny. Even the 'man' in armor was larger than he. Kobei also barely wore much in the way of clothing. A loose pair of pants and half a shirt revealing his tattoos and scars on his shoulder blades, the dead stare on his face was still the most noticeable.

"Come now, Ember, Apologize to the poor woman you just bumped into." 

His empty stare now met this woman dead in the eye. A seriousness leaked through it.

"We wouldn't want to cause any unwanted trouble... now would we?"

“Yes! We would!” Wolfric jumped out of her seat and onto her feet with a heavy clink of metal. Marching over, she jabbed a metal finger into this rude chick’s chest - now Rudy McRudington to Wolfric. “She bumped into him! She’s the one that should apologize. Don’t you dare apologize, Ember.”

Wolfric glanced over Ember, just making sure that the big guy was okay. Yeah. He looked it. A little bump like that was fine. Not a big deal. But...this chick was looking for trouble. Wolfric could smell it. She’d made the mistake of picking on one of her crewmates though. Wolfric wouldn’t stand for that.

“Well?” Wolfric growled with that deep menace, looking to Rudy expectantly.

This could end in the way Kobei wanted. But it wasn’t really what Wolfric wanted. It probably wasn’t what Rudy wanted. They’d just gotten here, but she wasn’t afraid to bust the place up if she had to! Marines, bounty hunters, bring them on! Wolfric didn’t care. She smiled inside of the armor.

Ember got bumped into before he got into the chair... a woman with a wild blond mane. She seemed upset to say the least clearly looking for a fight but Ember being the friendly guy he is he was willing to take a blame and apologize but just when he was about to open his mouth he got interrupted by Kobie who seemed to analyze the situation and proceed to give him a tip on what to do. "Thanks Kobie friend! I had that in mind!"

Ember turned to the lady who had bumped into him about to open his mouth when... Wolfric came in! She went on and started getting defensive about the situation. Ember's face became red in embarrassment a simple situation had just became a scene with most of the people in the bar looking at the situation all interested on what was going to happen.

Ember shook his head no and waved both his hands. "Captain calm down! There is no need to fight I accidenly bumped into this respectable woman... Its my fault I am a big guy I didn't see her." Ember put his big hand on Wolfric's shoulder. "Calm down there is no need for voilence this time..." Ember cleared his throat and turned to the young woman he extended his other hand at her in a friendly mature fashion. "I am sorry... I didn't mean to bump into you. Lets shake on it and I will buy you a drink." Ember said smiling showing off his big square teeth.
