Io Io no Mi
English Name:–Sulfur Sulfur fruit
Classification:– Logia
Owned By:– Ruby Bright(Upon Approval and completion of necessary criteria.)
Appearance:– Looks like a large, foot long, bright yellow banana with dark yellow swirls that seem to be crusted with a powdery yellow crystal substance. The fruit stinks so bad that it can make the user pass out before they can take a bite. And the taste is sour to an extreme. The bitter innards are sticky and slightly acidic, giving it a repulsively noxious taste.
Ability:–Grants the user the abilities common to a Logia user. Their body is able to reflexively become pure, sulfur. They can shift into a loose, powdery cloud of sulfur at will, or condense their body to the point of being semi-hard sulfur crystals. They can generate sulfur to an almost unlimited extent.
Sulfur burns quite hot with a blue-ish flame. At very high temperatures it becomes explosive, but can be mixed with specific elements to become combustible at much lower temperatures. When mixed with water, it turns the fluid acidic. Even in its basic form it is highly toxic. A user with even a basic understanding of Chemistry could use this fruit to quite devastating effect. However even with no knowledge, the options are many. The user can compress the Sulfur into crystalline projectiles, or flood their opponents lungs with fine powder while avoiding the majority of attacks in a cloud-like form.
Weaknesses:– If struck by water, a Sulfur Logia loses their ability to disperse into a cloud form. The part of their body soaked becomes a thick, sticky sludge. While they still retain their ability to control themselves fully, they have to essentially function in an entirely different manner. As the sickly smelling sludge, they are still highly toxic, but unable to combust or crystallize. And while they possess some advantages of fluidity and are still difficult to injure, they are slowed down massively. Obviously, the more of their body soaked, the more inconvenient this becomes.
Example. If a single arm is drenched, the rest of their body can disperse or crystallize, but the powder cloud cannot completely separate from the arm, and is limited to remaining in contact with it to at least a small degree.
If the whole body was drenched, then they become a slow moving, toxic sludge monster, unable to crystallize or disperse in any way, however they can still fight, and lash out with their sticky, now fluid limbs until they dry out which could take hours.
However if Sea Water is used, they suffer the same fate as all Devil Fruit users. If even a single arm is wetted, they lose their powers until the limb is dried. In addition, they are weak to Sea Prism Stone as all Devil Fruits are.
