放浪雨女
“Wandering Rain Woman”
A style of fighting most unusual, even to Leona herself, in that it embodies the presence of air and water. Every aspect of this extraordinary style embodies the elements that forge the weather; rain and hail, wind and thunder, each become a weapon in the practitioner’s hands. With this, Miss Ward’s natural skills in the water seem to extend outwards into the gales and precipitation associated with the storms she so loves to pursue, relying heavily upon the current conditions of the atmosphere and being utterly useless without it. The style encompasses a strange mix of grace and energy, but its primary focuses are on speed and agility.
Level 1 - Precipitation
At this level of control, Leona’s only real benefit is that of the rain. As long as it is raining, the Gyojin girl can extend the limits of her anatomical adaptations into the drizzle-filled air, treating it like the very ocean into which she was born. While she cannot actually swim in the air, no matter how torrential the downpour, she can improve her movement speed and agility to notable degrees.

Techniques (& Variations) Requested:
撃水
“Water Shot”
By soaking her hand or arm in water, or otherwise gathering said liquid in her webbed palms by some means, Leona can hurl the water with enough force to pack a heavy punch to a target. Though not yet a piercing bullet as achieved by high-level practitioners of Gyojin Karate, the aqueous projectile can leave painful welts and grazes deep enough to wound if she ever gets a good hit.
5. Yūdokukijō Hijiuchi
有毒鰭条肘打ち
“Toxic Fin Ray Elbow Strike”
Using the protrusions upon her forearms, Leona delivers a potent elbow strike to an enemy, piercing them with her fin rays (if able) and injecting a dose of her natural venom into their body. While the blow itself is quite powerful, being actively envenomed by the spines leaves behind an additional burning sensation for several minutes, and when that finally fades the toxins cause nausea, disorientation and paralysis in mild amounts for a few hours longer.
乾性鰭条肘打ち
“Dry Fin Ray Elbow Strike”
An elbow strike using protruding fin rays to amplify the damage potential; identical to Leona’s Yūdokukijō Hijiuchi in every way except for the lack of venom being applied.[/font][/sub][/div][/ul]
6. Hōrō Ameonna - Kigaru
放浪雨女 - 気軽
“Wandering Rain Woman - Buoyant”
Leona’s movements in the rain become easier, more sprightly, and it is through this technique that she can achieve further acts of gymnastic quality. By kicking off any surface, she can effectively remain afloat for a few seconds longer than is natural, and retains decent control over her direction and orientation while doing so. She cannot actively change the direction in which she is moving, but can utilise her Lionfish qualities to pivot and swivel as she does fly.
Kigaru (気軽) - Carefree; Bouyant; Lighthearted; Sprightly - all things Leona is when enjoying a storm![/font][/sub][/ul]
Technique Upgrades Requested:
五十枚瓦正拳
“Fifty Tile True Punch”
One of Leona Ward’s most potent attack forms. Despite many considering it rather weak when compared to the far more powerful variants mastered by higher level practitioners, it is still more than enough to deal significant damage if she lands a good hit. Though it’s only half the strength of a more famous variation and lacks the same ability to knock an average sized foe flying, it is still more than enough to deliver a potentially debilitating impact. The technique itself is little more than a powerful straight punch, purportedly capable of smashing its way through fifty brick tiles.
1. Hyakumaigawara Seiken (Upgrade)
百枚瓦正拳
“Hundred Tile True Punch”
Leona’s honed strength now allows her to deliver a more punishing punch; a straight blow capable of cracking through a stack of 100 brick tiles. Against foes of moderate size it can push them back a few yards with a good body blow, knocking them off their feet if unstable, and is arguably more than strong enough an impact to make a small hole in a thin brick wall.
Original to be kept as a Variation.

2. Hyakumaigawara Mawashigeri (Original)
百枚瓦回し蹴り
“Hundred Tile Roundhouse Kick”
By far Leona’s strongest attack, though she has still yet to develop it to any real extreme, it is a simple but powerful roundhouse kick more than capable of knocking an average human opponent flying a good few feet. A direct hit can do a substantial amount of physical damage, but she is not yet swift enough to make use of it in such ways. It is an attack supposedly capable of smashing its way through a hundred brick tiles. This technique is the current pinnacle of Miss Ward’s expertise in Gyojin Karate.
2. Nihyakumaigawara Mawashigeri (Upgrade)
二百枚瓦回し蹴り
“Two-Hundred Tile Roundhouse Kick”
A powerful kick said to be able to crack its way through 200 brick tiles. This technique can bring almost any opponent of moderate size to the ground, or otherwise knock them several yards away from Leona. It’s even capable of giving a Giant quite a painful blow to the shin, and is no doubt capable of breaking down a thin stone wall on its own, if not for the fact that Leona tends to get her leg stuck if she tries such a thing.
Original to be kept as a Variation.[/font][/sub][/ul]
Total Cost: 200
