Zen watched as the daring woman took a deep breath, as if she was about to go pearl diving, before charging straight into the tear gas. He rolled his eyes. Classic hero type. He couldn't help but wince at the swift kick she planted into the thug in the centre. Alex grabbed Herber up as if picking up a small dog, carrying him all trussed up like a roast chicken. Then she proceeded to rant like a crazy person. Hot damn, she was scary. Zen made a mental note never to cross her. After she sardonically insulted the poor man, Zen was in a stupor.
'What do you mean the clues are fake? Are you crazy! You mean we worked to get here for nothing?' Zen waited for her explanation. 'In the abyss. I'm not falling down another hole. At least not on purpose....' God, that invited so many other ways for her to get him down the hole. 'I suppose so.' He replied to her final statement. As Zen made a walk down to the chasm, he thought about how he was going to do this. With a final decision made, he walked out into open air and fell. Waving his arms round, his glove hybrid form and scraping the rock walls, landing with a loud thud. Zen grunted and rubbed his legs, sitting down for a moment. For some strange reason, it was clear as day down in the tunnel. Eden was standing a couple of meters away, looking at some kind of temple thing. 'Buddy?' Zen tapped Eden on the shoulder. Vines were hanging down in packs, coating the untouched temple in a rustic look. It was simple, made of weathered granite like rock, patterns visible, swirling like a devil fruit's pattern.
As he walked inside confidently, Zen took a look around and let out a low whistle. The entire interior was covered in gears and wires. It was clearly booby trapped to the max. 'Whoever made this did not want visitors.' He remarked dryly. 'I can toss a few chemicals in and activate the traps if you like.' Zen commented. 'Maybe a better way is to just get Eden to walk in there full tree mode.' Zen thought about different possibilities, pacing the annex before the room. Hearing a low clanging from above, it was likely he had activated the traps already. Zen hoped not. ((You decide if they did or not grim))
